Thanks to @ReadForeverPub and @netgalley for the eARC. I squealed with delight when this book arrived in my account!

Can’t Get Enough is exactly why I keep coming back to Kennedy Ryan’s books — the emotional depth is unmatched. Hendrix is fierce, independent, and unapologetically herself, and watching her fall for a man who’s emotionally intelligent, attentive, and just as fierce was so satisfying. The caregiving subplot is handled with such care and dignity, capturing both the heartache and the love involved. This book made me laugh, cry, and feel seen.

There’s something so powerful about Hen’s confidence — she knows her worth and refuses to waste her time on men who aren’t worthy of her. The parent/child relationships were just *chef’s kiss*, and the connection between Mav and Hen from the very start? *Oof* — electric.

The way Ryan masterfully balances heavy topics—like battles over affirmative action and the challenges of caregiving—while simultaneously crafting full, inspiring love stories is truly incredible. I’m in awe of her and her writing. If you haven’t started the Skyland series yet, you’ll want to begin with Yas and Josiah, follow with Soledad and Judah, and finish with Hendrix and Mav.

CW: sudden loss, grief, Alzheimer’s, caregiving.

Stunningly beautifully finish to this series. I love everything about Hendrix. I knew I would from Before I let go. This was the perfect wrap up up the Skyland series. I cannot wait to see this played out on tv!!

took me a whole month, but i finally finished.

giving this a solid 3 stars, it wasn’t bad at all. i have loved everything i’ve read by kennedy ryan but for some reason i just couldn’t with the story. i loved hendrix’s character and maverick’s character but i just felt so out of the story and plot.

the spice was done well! every interesting and sexy!

however, reading about hendrix taking care of her mother and navigating being a caretaker was very touching.

i won’t lie, i hated the skipper and bolt subplot. nothing further to say on that matter lol.

i also wish we saw more of Yasmin and Soledad. i love reading about the sisterhood and friendship!

Thank you to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for my ARC copy! This review contains my personal thoughts and opinions.

Can't Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan was everything I hoped for and more! Kennedy Ryan is a phenomenal writer who handles sensitive topics with such care, weaving emotion and vivid detail into every page. I could picture every scene so clearly as if I were right there with the characters.
The substory of Skipper and Bolt had me laughing out loud, and I absolutely loved seeing familiar faces from the Hoops series make an appearance. It was the perfect way to wrap up the Skyland series.

Two main takeaways stuck with me:
1. If he wants to, he will.
2. You should never think you can change someone or their desires.

This book was an emotional, beautifully written, and satisfying conclusion to the series. Kennedy Ryan never misses!

Rating: 4.5/5

This book is about Hendrix Barry, a strong independent woman who aspired to be a great business woman. Never did she expect to come across someone like billionaire tech mogul Maverick Bell. This love story was just so cute and the perfect end to the Skyland series with Yasmen and Soledad. This book is more than just a love story. This book is about sisterhood, woman-empowerment, and family.

First thing's first, I couldn't stop reading this book! It usually takes me a while to get through books but for some reason, I couldn't put this down. It was so easy to read and didn't have too much fluff in it like some books tend to.

Hendrix was my favorite character of the series just because I felt like I could relate to her the most. As someone who has always put her career first, it's refreshing to see someone so similar. It's reassuring to see someone who goes against the ideal dream of getting married and being a mother to be the main final goal in life. It's even crazier to see that just because Hendrix is such a caring and loving person, doesn't mean that she has to have children. She's able to care for her nieces and nephews, she's especially able to care for her mom.

Mav was also the sweetest man ever. I loved how he would drop everything to show up for Hendrix, no matter what the situation was. He was the perfect person for her. I do wish they talked more about him as a father to Tamia and delve into their relationship a bit but I understand that this book was more about Hendrix.

I loved the inclusion of Alzheimer's disease and the research that Kennedy Ryan put into this to be able to include such a heavy topic in the book. She really highlighted how it takes a village to care for someone with the disease, including caregiver support groups. It was so devastating to see how much this disease affected Hen's mom and how, in turn, Aunt Geneva and Hen were affected as well. It was inspiring to see that despite everything going on, Hendrix was able to keep her business going, especially with all the support that she had from Aunt Geneva, Mav, and her girls.

I'm so sad to see this series ending, if this is the end. But I also feel like it gave us closure, especially with Soledad's message at the end that brought everything together.

4 out of 5. This is the last book on the Skyland series and it was a worthy end. IF you want female empowerement romance, kick ass characters with a side of fabulous friendship this is the series for you. and in this culmination you still get the Strong Female Characters with well written romance and that is always the goal. Also a FMC who is a kiss ass career woman, is empowered about what she wants in life and is a caretaker, its a cool vibe! Also Hendric is a pretty sexy male lead, so there was def no complaining on my side.

ARE YOU JOKING?! 😭😭😭

How is Kennedy Ryan an author and therapist at the same time?! The talent this woman has needs to be studied. This is such a love letter to self. To confidence. To love. To determination. She does an incredible job telling Hendrix's story and this book had me feeling every single emotion on the spectrum at all times. It was truly amazing. The Skyland series is something to behold. I will read this series over and over!!

Thank you SO much Netgalley for the arc!

💜 What a beautiful ending to Kennedy Ryan’s Skyland series. Hendrix’ story may be my favorite of all. Thank you to @readforeverpub for the sneak peek. This is out May 13th.

💜 I related to Hendrix in so many ways. I am a bigger-bodied woman. My grandmother is currently battling Alzheimer’s and my mother has become her caretaker. Oh, and I drink French 75’s. I have not though, ever had a billionaire fall head over heels for me.

💜 I once described Ryan’s books as romances with meat on their bones, and her latest is no exception. There’s so much here, and it’s not only with Hendrix’ caretaker role and what she’s going through with her mother. Both MC’s are successful Black entrepreneurs in America and we get to see how they navigate the hurdles placed in front of them. Hendrix also challenges societal norms when it comes to women, sex and motherhood.

💜 And all of those things are woven seamlessly into a swoon-worthy romance that takes place on board private jets and in court side seats and all the things.

💜 If you already love the Skyland series I have no doubt you’ll love this one too. And if you haven’t read them yet, then what are you waiting for?!

Another solid FIVE STARS for Kennedy Ryan, are we surprised? No. Kennedy writes the most beautiful, powerful and inspirational stories. She writes intricate plots, deep characters and always, always, always brings light to the injustices of the world. She brings forth representation on so many different levels. She’s a masterful writer, storyteller and you can tell that she just “gets it.”

Love Hen and Mav 💗

Thank you to Netgalley and Forever Publishing for an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts, but I am DNF-ing this book at at 29%

Billionaire romances simply don't do it for me me, I truly feel like the fantasy is one that I cannot buy into on any level; and when you have the added layer of an author trying to convince her reader-base that the massive amounts of wealth that this character has accumulated is ethical? That, to me, speaks volumes on your misunderstanding and poor research into how billionaires are made. And to have Maverick's wealth come from the marijuana industry? An industry that has HISTORICALLY incarcerated Black and Brown bodies in quantities EGREGIOUSLY above white bodies? While not even a single mention of his efforts to help his community through financial mutual aid? Instead choosing to siphon his efforts into growing his own wealth by investing in Black women Girlboss Businesses? This alone spoke volumes into the kind of slimy and greedy man this was, and no amount of generous body descriptions would have swayed me to his cause.

Hendrix was an enjoyable main character, I enjoyed reading about a Black, plus-sized female main character in a romance, but the cover vastly misrepresents her body type, and Forever Publishing's decision to slap a skinny woman on the cover feels like a slap in the face to Hendrix's character.

Poor decisions all around; even if I had finished this book, I think it would've been a 2 star read for me at best.

Beautiful and emotional addition to the Skyland series. Love the development in Hendricks and how the story all tied together.

Romance is the place for people, especially women, to imagine and play in the ultimate fantasy of romantic love and who could be more perfect than the hero Kennedy Ryan gives us than Maverick Bell. Tall, handsome, A BILLIONAIRE, and he won't stop until he gets what he wants, one Hendrix Barry. Can't Get Enough delivers on the question of what if I get what I deserve in a partner so perfectly I kind of wanted to throw the book (my kindle) across the room because there's no way the universe could produce a man so perfectly devoted, empathetic, and kind like Maverick> But I didn't because reading about a Black woman who works hard for her clients and takes care of her friends and community while navigating her mother's journey with Alzheimer's actually get the loving relationship she deserves is actually healing. In an world where so much goes wrong and people struggle for the simplest things, here in Kennedy Ryan's world the good guys win, and the Black girls are magic.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Forever for the ARC! I have forever been a fan of Kennedy Ryan and have inhaled every book in this series! Hendrix is a strong, independent woman with goals and dreams that she won't let anyone stand in the way of. Maverick is her counterpart in every way but is also the one that she can't have. I loved the dynamic between the two and enjoyed watching Hendrix morph into a character who is vulnerable and allows someone to be there for her while still being everyone's hype woman and life of the party. Reading about her mother living with Alzheimer's and Hendrix navigating her diagnosis was heartbreaking and inspiring. This book was everything I envisioned for Hendrix!

First of all it’s a Kennedy Ryan book…need I say more! The cover is beautiful and the storyline is amazing!! I was glad to catch up with Soledad and Yasmin. I was happy that Hendrix found her person who was there for even when she thought she didn’t need someone. I look forward to when this book comes out on shelves. It’s another winner Ms. Ryan!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
In this heartfelt addition to the Skyland series, Hendrix’s story stands out as one of the most compelling. As with all of Ryan’s characters, Hendrix is beautifully crafted as a perfectly imperfect individual. She’s witty, fiercely independent, and determined, all while juggling the challenges of a significant career shift and caring for her mother, who is battling Alzheimer’s disease. The best part: we finally see Hendrix find the happiness she so rightfully deserves.

Well done Kennedy Ryan. 👏🏻 This book releases on May 13th, 2025. Thank you to Forever Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Warning: This series is spicy.

I enjoyed Hendrix's story so much! A wonderful conclusion to the Skyland trio. Spending time with these women is always a joy (if an emotional, angsty joy).

Let me start this off by saying I’m a huge fan of Kennedy Ryan. I had very high hopes for this book and although it didn’t disappoint…I wanted more. Hendrix’s story to me fell flat coming off the heels of Soledad’s story. I did love seeing Hendrix being loved gently but I needed more from the story itself.

Hendrix & Maverick’s story is here, and Kennedy Ryan has done it again!

The entire Skyland series has been a 5-star experience for me, and this book is no exception! Hendrix is just… I don’t even have the words for her. She’s everything I wish I had been when I was younger—strong-willed, fiercely dedicated to her community, an incredible friend, and a hard worker.

Finding Maverick wasn’t part of her plan, but sometimes, the connection is undeniable. She’s a rising star who doesn’t need a man, isn’t even looking for one—but Maverick? He’s impossible to resist. He’s sweet, strong, and so incredibly good to Hendrix. Their chemistry, their journey, their love—it all felt so real.

Kennedy Ryan has once again blown me away with her powerful storytelling, unforgettable characters, and a book I never wanted to end. Another absolute 5-star read!

Can’t Get enough of

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
🌶️🌶️.75

I’m gonna be honest this book isn’t memorable for me. Although i don’t have any strong negative feelings about the book, i also don’t have any strong positive feelings.

I can’t put my finger on what it is but it was just an ok story. I felt like it was well developed and moves a long at a good pace but i just don’t have anything else to say about it.

I will say i HATED Zere. After her telling Hendrix that she wasn’t Mavericks type… 🙄. I was done with her after that, but that was the only strong reaction i had to anything in the book.
