3.5 stars ! I’ve never really loved best friends brother trope but I appreciated that this one wasn’t such an explosion when it was revealed, i’ve always thought that it is a little over the top to hate something when you already love both parties involved so I really appreciated how that part played out in this book ! also feel like kids in books can be hard to write, they don’t come across as their age etc, but I thought mabel was just a cutie of a character and she definitely brought in some humor! wish overall this was a little more cowboy, a little less sheriff but a quick, easy, enjoyable read none the less and I truly feel like every book in this series is better than the last !!

Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine and NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!

I am always down for a Vegas wedding so i was already sold, the rest of the story just made it that much better. The relationship between Ginger and Cole was so sweet, the way they grew and supported each other in ways that they could get no where else. The past history that they shared and the pinning that each went through over someone they thought they could never have. Ugh I loved it so much. I loved watching the relationship between Ginger and Coles daughter develop and the way Ginger really goes all in. I could go on and on all day about how lovely this book was.

Thank you to Netgalley and Random House Publishing for the ARC of this book!

There's a new sheriff in town--Cole Ashby. He's balancing his new role with being a single dad, and trying not to lose his mind doing it. Enter Ginger Danforth, congressman's daughter, teacher who is off for the summer, and Cole's sister's best friend (though her and Cole have a secret friendship too!). A drunken wedding in Vegas leads to keeping their marriage a secret under guise of Ginger being Cole's daughter Mabel's nanny for the summer. The rest is, as they say, history. :)

Single Dad X Nanny will ALWAYS be one of my favorite tropes to read. Throw in my other favorite tropes: friends-to-lovers, law enforcement and grumpy/sunshine and you've got Riding the High! I loved this book. Cole and Ginger's love was so wholesome and I loved that there was not really a third act breakup. Ginger and Mabel's love was so sweet to read, and I truly felt the connection between all of the characters. The spice was just right for me as well!

4.5 stars. I can't wait for the next one!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC opportunity!

This was so good! I was really excited for this one, as I have read the others by Paisley, and they did not disappoint! This story has alot of tropes that i love: single dad, brothers bestie, accidental (or secret) marriage, etc. And Paisley wrote them well and handled them perfectly.

I'll be honest, i wasnt sure about Cole in the beginning. But he grew on me, and when mixed with Ginger, i think he is better. Ginger is fiery, and those are my favorite types of FMC. And the banter? 10/10. I love good banther, it gets me every time and this was no different.

I cant wait to continue reading more by this author!

It was good. I just wasn't a huge fan of Cole being a fuckboy. The fact that Ginger had to see and knew about Cole's conquests was a turn off. I loved Mabel though, thought she was a sweetheart. Also Mabel's mother Gemma was a real piece of work (crap).

5 ⭐️ ARC review!

I freaking love Cole and Ginger’a story and feel insanely grateful for this ARC.

Every glimpse we saw of them in the first two books had me salivating for their story.

And it did not disappoint!

I love a fiery fmc and Ginger gave us that at more. Plus a law daddy who’s had his eye on his sister’s best friend, even better! Cole was hot as hell and the father he was to Mabel made him even more swoon worthy.

The connection between Cole and Ginger and years unknowingly pinning for each other made their friendship to husband/wife so intoxicating.

And as always the family unit in Silver Pines brings so much laughter and love to us and it seriously just brings immense joy as you go through each book!

Fantastic story Paisley! I look forward to purchasing my bookshelf trophy for my birthday month this year!

Thank you NetGalley, the publisher and Paisley Hope for providing me this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts! I knew this would quickly became my favorite book of the Silver Pine Ranch series when I read it in one sitting! The single dad trope will do it for me every single time 🤭 this book had a lot of funny banter but also so much tension between the characters that I just could not out down my kindle. Loved every single minute of it.

Tropes:
- Single dad x nanny
- Brother’s best friend
- Forced proximity
- Accidental marriage

I KNEW Cole Ashby would be my favorite and man was I RIGHT!! I loved Cole and Ginger’s story and getting to see behind the scenes of their secret friendship they’ve had for years. The banter was incredible and there is just something about a single dad that melts me every time 🫠.

OMG OMG OMG!!! Just when I thought I’d already read my favorite Silver Pines novel in come Cole and Ginger 😍😍

This book has sooo many of my favorite tropes..
💛Best Friends Brother
🤠Secret Marriage
💛Smalltown
🤠Nanny
💛Enemies to Lovers
🤠Forced Proximity
💛Single Dad

Cole Ashby and his little sister's best friend Ginger Danforth have practically grown up together, yet seem to not be able to be around one another without bickering incessantly… After an alcohol fueled game of truth or dare they wake up married in Vegas and come to the realization that they’re going to have to ride out this marriage for a while. With Cole being the newly elected sheriff and Ginger's father rerunning for office, they decide to deal with the marriage situation once the dust settles. Ginger steps in to nanny for Cole and his sweet daughter Mabel for the summer and ends up finding more than she bargained for.

Following Cole and Ginger’s MUCH ANTICIPATED STORY (the sexual tension between these two in the prior Silver Pines novels had me squirming with excitement) was seriously so much fun. The little family they formed together was such a natural progression. I love them 🥹

Do yourself a favor and preorder Riding the High.. out May 6th! HUGE thank you to NetGalley, Random House Ballantine and Paisley Hope for an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

My first Paisley Hope read turned out to be a whirlwind of squealing, swooning, kicking my feet and having actual butterflies for the characters. If you love a single dad, secret relationship, best friends brother, school girl crush, it’s always been you - type read. This is the book for you. The best part is this is book THREE in a series, so you have plenty to catch up on. I am Paisley Hope’s newest fan and will happily dive into any book she writes.

Thank you SO MUCH to Dell Romance for the ARC of this one via NetGalley! These are my honest thoughts.

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SILVER PINES RANCH UNIVERSE. I love a best friend's brother story, and Ginger and Cole (and Mabes) made this story so incredibly fun (and spicy!).

Cole and Ginger have been friends for a long time, only it's been a secret friendship, because Ginger isn't sure how her bestie, CeCe (Silver Pines Ranch book #1), will react to the two of them being friends. They've been hanging out late at night since Cole divorced Mabes' mom. And when they all head to Las Vegas for a bachelor/bachelorette weekend for Nash and CeCe, Ginger and Cole end up secretly married, and decide to keep it a secret until Cole's sworn in as sheriff and to protect Ginger from her politically affluent family.

This trio becomes a family, and when Ginger and Cole finally give in (again) to their relationship, it's fireworks on the fourth of July, but better. Cole TAKES CARE of Ginger in a way no man has, both in the bedroom and in life. Ginger MAKES SURE Cole has fun. And, in all of the ways that matter, these 3 become a team.

I love how this universe grows with each new story, and literally cannot wait for book #4!

Back again with a Paisley Hope confessional about how much I love this series! I absolutely loved diving back into the Silver Pines Ranch world with the Ashby family. After meeting Ginger as Cece’s best friend in book one, it’s no surprise that I equally loved reading Ginger’s story! I’m also so glad we got to see more of Cece, Nash, Wade, and Ivy.

I find this book (and the entire series!) to be a quick and easy read because it’s so effortless to immerse yourself in. Each character has their own unique hook, but no matter what, you can always feel the deep love within this family. While this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend starting the series from the beginning to fully appreciate each character’s growth.

Now, onto the characters in Riding the High… Ginger is a loyal spitfire, and Cole is completely smitten with her! From book one, it’s clear that Ginger and Cole have always put each other first. That strong foundation of trust made their love story feel even more believable, and I was rooting for them from the very first chapter.

After teasing Cole and Ginger's tension-filled friendship throughout the first two books, I was so excited to finally dive into their story! And it did not disappoint! I loved their easy way with each other, the loving relationship with Mabel, and all of the Brooklyn 99 references. But also, can Mama Jo adopt me?

Listen, I love a good Vegas wedding storyline and this one was so much fun to read! It was surprisingly less spicy than others and I personally liked the slow burn aspect of it. I’m not usually a nickname girl but “Law Daddy” made me chuckle. If you enjoyed the other books in this series you will not be disappointed by this one!

This is now my favorite book of the Silver Pines Ranch series. I loved Cole Weston Ashby and Ginger Lily Danforth's story, and their banter was next level. I cannot overlook how fantastic a kid Mabel is too (although I'd owe her a lot of money). I also loved the development of Mabel and Ginger's relationship. If you've read the first two books in this series, they perfectly set up the scene for this journey that Cole and Ginger are on in this book. This book had a more appropriate plot to spice ratio that I was missing in Training the Heart.

I didn't see the twist of this book coming and I loved it.

Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing, and Paisley Hope for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 stars!

Yesss! This book was exactly what I was hoping it would be. It did not disappoint!

The chemistry was fire, the tension was delicious, and even better than all that, the FRIENDSHIP that we got to witness was really beautiful. On top of that, the relationship between Ginger and Mabel was equally heartwarming.

Thank you so much for the ARC!

4.5 ⭐️ The chemistry I was expecting from Cole and Ginger did not disappoint. I love the closeness that Mabel had with Ginger even before they got together!

This book was so good, I’m completely obsessed! First of all, the single dad trope? I’m all in, and this one nailed it. Cole’s relationship with his daughter Mabel is just heart-melting, and watching Mabel fall for Ginger the way her dad did was absolutely adorable. The romance was slow-burn perfection.

The banter between Ginger and Cole was everything! I was giggling and kicking my feet the entire time. Their chemistry was on point, and the forced proximity added so much tension to their relationship. I was living for it.

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the use of the “sl*t” word (which didn’t sit well with me) and a moment in the last chapter that was a bit cringey. But honestly, those were small things that didn’t ruin how much I loved the book. I’m still obsessed and would 100% recommend it!
