“Hookups are easy but finding someone you don’t hate watching TV with? Someone who actually puts the comfortable in comfortable silence? Not so much.”
I devoured this book and wished I could read it again for the first time. I am a sucker for a single dad romance but Cole Ashby was the daddy of all daddies.
I love the easy friendship between these two so much and love that they built that over the years even though they both knew that they were endgame deep inside.
Cole is a single dad who’s just been elected sheriff and is wanting to put is playboy days behind him. Ginger Danforth is trying to put her crush on Cole to bed but one game of truth or dare in Vegas later and she is Mrs. Ashby now. What turns into a summer of trying to get a silent divorce turns into something so much more.
This book was everything. Their friendship, both of their relationships with Mabel, Cole’s daughter, the mutual pining and their love of Brooklyn 99 was seriously beautiful and so special. This whole series is amazing and with each new one, I fall more in love with this world that Paisley Hope has built. Daddy Wade was chefs kiss with being so grumpy but only soft for Ivy but Daddy Cole, man was written to be built different with his love for his daughter and the brand. Could not get enough of him.
Ginger did not let this man get away with anything and I love a strong FMC. Her love of Mabel though and their kinship was so freaking cute. I was tearing up bc that woman was the mother that little girl always wanted and dreamed of.
And the spice was SPICING. Cole Ashby’s mouth needs to come with a warning label. I am a sucker for an MMC to call the FMC a greedy girl. And we love a woman who takes control and Ginger was no exception to this. She had Cole on his knees for her, as he should be!
Tropes:
💜Accidental marriage
💙Single dad
💜Best friends brother
💙Secret friends to lovers
💜Forced proximity
💙Reformed playboy
💜One night stand
💙Secret pining/ he falls hard
💜It’s always been you
💙Big acts of service
💜Found family
I will be posting my review to Amazon, goodreads and Instagram.
My goodreads review was posted but I will be posting on Amazon and Instagram on publication day.

This was a beautiful, spicy and amazing story. I love the relationship between ginger and Cole. It was so good! I loved the addition to the series. It might be my favorite. I love the interconnectedness of the characters. Thank you so much!

Truth or dare…
Truth: This book got me messed up in the best ways. I am obsessed and unwell.
I knew I was going to be FERAL for Cole & Ginger’s story but I didn’t anticipate how I’d be shaking in my boots, drooling, sweating… basically I think I have rabies because this one got me RABID.
Dare: I dare you all to read this one and not have Cole Ashby shoot to the top of your fictional boyfriend list. My man is a STUD and honestly.. catch me going 20 over begging for a chance to get pulled over and locked up by this Law Daddy.
As always, I loved all the interactions with the Ashby family, Not Angels, and my favorite new Team (IYKYK). Watching Ginger & Mabe’s relationship develop had me deep in my feels.
If you don’t read this book immediately upon release - STRAIGHT TO JAIL! And not the good kind where Cole works at.
Thank you Random House for this ARC! I’m sure you got tired of me beating down your door via DM like a dog in heat asking for this one.

4⭐️ What Happens in Vegas... Might Just Be Forever!
This book has the whole 'wake up with a hangover, only to discover you've accidentally married your longtime friend in Vegas' trope. Is that a trope? Idk, but the thing is that our FMC here... she kind of likes it. In this third installment of the Silver Pines Ranch series, and since I've already read books 1 & 1, I can tell you with complete certainty that this one is even better! With the chaotic charm of surprise nuptials, small-town secrets, and a slow-burn romance that hits all the soft spots, this book really takes this little world to the next level!!
Cole Ashby is our classic cowboy with a twist—single dad, newly minted sheriff, and trying really hard to prove he’s not just the safe choice, but the right choice for the job. Ginger Danforth? She’s the picture of public poise with a rebellious streak she tries -and often fails- to keep under wraps. Together, they’re a match made in accidental??-Vegas-wedding heaven.
The chemistry between them was insane and it felt so genuine, with a lot of sweet moments—especially when Ginger starts helping out with Cole’s daughter for the summer. Watching them both try to resist the emotional pull while basically playing house? A+ romantic tension. The story balanced humor, heartfelt, painful moments, and enough “uh-oh, I think we’re catching feelings” moments to keep me flipping pages
There were a few points where the pacing dipped, especially when the characters circled the same emotional conflict a little too long (yes, we get it, reputations are fragile, you're dad kind of a d!ck, and being a dad can be scary), but it wasn’t enough to dull the sparkle of the romance or just-married glow.
🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 – If you know anything about this series, you know that these pretty little covers pack some HEAT inside them. From sultry looks to a blink-and-you'll-miss-it crazy-hot “oops we’re married” wedding night, and lots of shared longing that finally blows up into an inferno. Also, a lot of 'my wife' moments. I know!
This is an eARC! Thank you Net Galley and publisher for providing me with this early copy of the book!!

Entertaining as always! I love Paisley Hope’s books, and while this one felt like a grab bag of romance tropes (single dad, nanny, forced proximity, Vegas wedding), it was still a fun, guilty pleasure read. The forced proximity setup was a bit silly, but the male lead was great, which made up for it. Not my favorite of hers, but still an enjoyable four-star read!

Thank you NetGalley and Dell Romance for providing me with this eARC in exchange for an honest review!
2.5 🌟
Pros:
-some of my favorite tropes (Single dad x nanny, forced proximity and best friends brother)
-dual pov
Cons:
-the first 25-30% felt out of place and detached from the rest of the story
-the story didn’t really get rolling until 30%, which made this feel too long and like it could be edited down
-brief cheating mentioned
This was my first book by this author and in this series of standalone romances. Overall, just because this one was not quite my cup of tea, if you have enjoyed other books in this series then you will probably like this one as well and should give it a try.

Thank you Netgalley and Dell Romance for the ARC in exchange of an honest review!
I had high hopes for this book because the tension between Cole and Ginger had been so amazing during the 1st and 2nd books that I thought their story would be jaw-dropping. Unfortunately, this was a let down for me for multiple reasons.
This story felt very similiar to Teddy and Gus from Lost and Lassoed. Yes, Gus/Cole and Teddy/Ginger have different occupations, but the babysitting and forced proximity was too similar especially when their relationship dynamic is already alike. The spice was… a lot for me but I expected that considering it was a lot for me in the first and second books too. I enjoyed the “accidentally married in vegas” trope, but after a while, that started to fall flat for me too. In regards to their individual characters, the depth and personality I wanted was missing.
This book had the potential to be so exciting, fun, and DIFFERENT… and it was not. I think I could have thoroughly enjoyed this book if I had not read blue rebel ranch by lyla sage first. However, I have and I cannot get past the similarities. So, with that being said, I will not be continuing this series.

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine | Dell for the ARC!
Riding the High was an enjoyable read that blended friends-to-lovers with a marriage of convenience—two tropes I love, and they worked really well together here. The story had depth, chemistry, and just the right amount of tension to keep things interesting.
While it did feel a bit long at times, the engaging characters and well-developed romance made up for it. Overall, a fun and satisfying read that fans of slow-burn contemporary romance will appreciate!

No surprise here paisley does it again! Cole & Ginger’s story was everything I had hoped it would be. I loved the secret friendship these two harbored for years in the background, always there for each other in the important moments even if no one really knew how deep their connection went. They were truly each others person.
Cole was such a great father to Mabel & Ginger stepped in to be the mother figure she so desperately needed. The relationship Ginger developed with Mabel just made my heart so happy. This poor little girl craved the love of a mother and Ginger gave her that. I loved the banter between these too & how they actually communicated and gave one another the benefit of the doubt instead of everything being drama!
Couldn’t recommend this book & series more!
I loved every couple in their own way & im not sure I could pick a favorite!
Thank you to net galley & paisley for the opportunity to read and review early!
5 stars
2.5 spice

A fun, spicy cowboy romance! I read this in a day which is very unusual for me 😅 But that’s how bingeable this was. I definitely liked this more than book 1 in the series!
Ginger was such a fun FMC and while I was unsure how I felt about her and Cole becoming a couple after what I read in Holding the Reins, I loved them in this. They truly seemed like the perfect match.
I don’t read many single dad romances but I loved how this one was done. I adored seeing Mabel and Ginger bond 🥹 I’m also not the biggest fan of friends to lovers books so I was curious how this one was going to work ... but the “it’s always been you vibe” was strong and made me swoon. While there were some cute moments, this book was jam-packed with SPICE. Which I’m learning is to be expected from this series and the Ashby men 👀 also, I was living for every “my wife” moment in this book.
what to expect:
🤠 secret friends to lovers
🤠 best friend’s brother
🤠 nanny x boss
🤠 single dad
🤠 accidental Vegas wedding
🤠 “my wife”
🤠 lots of spice
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Dell for the ARC!

I feel like I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. The sexy single dad who is head over heels for his kid(s)? Swooooooon! BUT IT DOESN’T END THERE. This sibling’s best friend turned his best friend turned accidental wedding / forced proximity is so cute, heartwarming and hands down steamy. But the kicker? It’s the unraveling of their relationship, peeling back the layers to understand who they are, and how that is portrayed in the series’ earlier books…
I mean, what would you do if you were in love with your sibling’s best friend, but life got in the way? Would you keep them at arm's length? Would you take what you could get and settle for being their best friend? Would you pine away too afraid of risking your friendship?
I don’t know what I would do. But I do think there’s something so beautifully terrifying about taking that step from friendship to romantic relationship. I strongly believe that the key to a strong romantic relationship is a strong friendship, and that’s what Cole and Ginger have. I love that through the years, Cole and Ginger were able to build a friendship. Something that was just theirs that they were able to nurture in private. They were there for each other when they needed it — those quiet, easy evenings when they were able to make memories, where they found safety and built trust, where they learned they could rely on each other while finding strength within themselves. I loved that they could hold onto this secret friendship without the influence or pressure from other people, without really even hiding it.
I can’t get over it. I think some might hold that secrecy against them, but I think it’s what I loved the most about their relationship. It was just theirs until they were ready to share it with the world. And even then, they protected each other. While I love an HEA, I don’t always feel that the foundation between MCs is enough to keep them together forever. But in this case, Cole and Ginger are lifers. They’ve got forever written all over them, and it’s only emphasized by how wonderful Ginger is with Mabel. A little happy family.
This was my peloton book (and that’s exactly what it sounds like: it’s the book I was reading while I was pedaling). Needless to say I set some ridiculous PRs because I didn’t want to get off the bike, I was so desperate to keep reading… and I was so into the book I didn’t realize how hard I was pedaling. In the end, this book gave me a bit of a book hangover. And it just made me crave summer.
I’ll be rereading this in the warmer weather.

I was very excited to finally get Cole and Ginger's story!! I've been eagerly anticipating this book since these characters were first introduced in the beginning of book one.
This book, like the others, had lots of spice but plenty of sweet moments as well.
I continue to enjoy reading about this family and look forward to the next book!
Thank you to Random House Publishing Group-Ballantine and NetGalley for giving me access to an eARC of this book.

3.5 stars ! I’ve never really loved best friends brother trope but I appreciated that this one wasn’t such an explosion when it was revealed, i’ve always thought that it is a little over the top to hate something when you already love both parties involved so I really appreciated how that part played out in this book ! also feel like kids in books can be hard to write, they don’t come across as their age etc, but I thought mabel was just a cutie of a character and she definitely brought in some humor! wish overall this was a little more cowboy, a little less sheriff but a quick, easy, enjoyable read none the less and I truly feel like every book in this series is better than the last !!
Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine and NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!

I am always down for a Vegas wedding so i was already sold, the rest of the story just made it that much better. The relationship between Ginger and Cole was so sweet, the way they grew and supported each other in ways that they could get no where else. The past history that they shared and the pinning that each went through over someone they thought they could never have. Ugh I loved it so much. I loved watching the relationship between Ginger and Coles daughter develop and the way Ginger really goes all in. I could go on and on all day about how lovely this book was.

Thank you to Netgalley and Random House Publishing for the ARC of this book!
There's a new sheriff in town--Cole Ashby. He's balancing his new role with being a single dad, and trying not to lose his mind doing it. Enter Ginger Danforth, congressman's daughter, teacher who is off for the summer, and Cole's sister's best friend (though her and Cole have a secret friendship too!). A drunken wedding in Vegas leads to keeping their marriage a secret under guise of Ginger being Cole's daughter Mabel's nanny for the summer. The rest is, as they say, history. :)
Single Dad X Nanny will ALWAYS be one of my favorite tropes to read. Throw in my other favorite tropes: friends-to-lovers, law enforcement and grumpy/sunshine and you've got Riding the High! I loved this book. Cole and Ginger's love was so wholesome and I loved that there was not really a third act breakup. Ginger and Mabel's love was so sweet to read, and I truly felt the connection between all of the characters. The spice was just right for me as well!
4.5 stars. I can't wait for the next one!

I was so excited when I read the blurb for this book! Riding High definitely lived up to my expectations. Ginger and Cole's chemistry was fantastic and I couldn't stop reading. Loved this one!

This might be the best book in the series. I loved Cole and Ginger’s relationship so much. It was spicy and romantic

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC opportunity!
This was so good! I was really excited for this one, as I have read the others by Paisley, and they did not disappoint! This story has alot of tropes that i love: single dad, brothers bestie, accidental (or secret) marriage, etc. And Paisley wrote them well and handled them perfectly.
I'll be honest, i wasnt sure about Cole in the beginning. But he grew on me, and when mixed with Ginger, i think he is better. Ginger is fiery, and those are my favorite types of FMC. And the banter? 10/10. I love good banther, it gets me every time and this was no different.
I cant wait to continue reading more by this author!

It was good. I just wasn't a huge fan of Cole being a fuckboy. The fact that Ginger had to see and knew about Cole's conquests was a turn off. I loved Mabel though, thought she was a sweetheart. Also Mabel's mother Gemma was a real piece of work (crap).

5 ⭐️ ARC review!
I freaking love Cole and Ginger’a story and feel insanely grateful for this ARC.
Every glimpse we saw of them in the first two books had me salivating for their story.
And it did not disappoint!
I love a fiery fmc and Ginger gave us that at more. Plus a law daddy who’s had his eye on his sister’s best friend, even better! Cole was hot as hell and the father he was to Mabel made him even more swoon worthy.
The connection between Cole and Ginger and years unknowingly pinning for each other made their friendship to husband/wife so intoxicating.
And as always the family unit in Silver Pines brings so much laughter and love to us and it seriously just brings immense joy as you go through each book!
Fantastic story Paisley! I look forward to purchasing my bookshelf trophy for my birthday month this year!
