Anne Dreams is the sixth and final book in the illustrated Anne of Green Gables chapter book set. I truly love this series! Each book takes bite-sized pieces of Anne of Green Gables and adapts them with beautiful illustrations for the younger crowd. (But Anne lovers of all ages will adore these) The illustrations by Abigail Halpin are amazing and absolutely the right vibe for Anne of Green Gables! I don't always love adaptions of classic works for young readers, but Kallie George does a great job of keeping the heart of Anne while simplifying the language and lightening some of the tone for young readers. I would definitely recommend this series!

Anne Dreams is the sweetest little introduction to a world so many of us love and cherish. It hits all the right notes, painting our dear Anne in her telltale whimsical and timeless way.

I'm a big Anne of Green Gables and Anne With an E fan, so this book was the perfect little read! This book contains beautiful illustrations and adapts the chapters where Anne dyes her hair, prepares for Queen's College, desires to become a teacher, and gets her puffed sleeve dress.
