Lights a Night is about all the light you'd encounter at night. I love how the book talks about the lights throughout an entire year. Each season and holidays are represented in beautifully illustrations. Any kind of light you can think of from a flashlight, fireworks, northern lights, football stadium lights, etc. My favorite part is there is a family of foxes seen in the background throughout the whole story. The foxes are finally seen in the headlights of this family and acknowledged.
This is a great bedtime story for children. It is also very interactive book. You can have you children talk about the different kinds of lights they see while on the road or from your backyard.

This is a look at a year and the lights that are seen in the night. Anything from headlights to porch lights to even the glow of the eyes of animals at night. What really sets this book apart is the illustrations. They’re colorful, but they’re also soft and nostalgic and have a dreamlike quality that is perfect to read right before bed.

A sweet early grade picture book that explores sources of light experienced throughout all seasons of the year.. The illustrations beautifully align with the text, providing multiple opportunities for children to notice the light sources and reflections. This story would be a welcome addition in libraries, as a bedtime story, as well as in elementary classroom instruction.

Lights at night is a stunningly illustrated story that shows the journey of two families experiences throughout a year. One human family and one fox family.
Lights at Night is a delightful bedtime story that will also be a lovely tool in schools to show light sources and the seasons.

This bedtime book is sweet and informative with charming text and beautiful illustrations. With something for kids to relate to during each season, it can easily be read at any time of year. The addition of the fox family makes the book even more special and cozy.
