If you are like me and love Halloween, this is the perfect Christmas book for you. My kids are not over Halloween when we are hitting winter and Christmas, so this is such a cute book to read. It has a great message and beautiful art work.
I took off a star because some pages were too dark to read. I had a digital ARC, so perhaps the coloring will be a little different in print.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a digital ARC. This did not impact my review in any way. I loved the book, but found some font too dark on the page.

Black and white illustrations brought a sense of realism to the bitterly coldness and the harsh winds that were roaring through the quilted ghost’s land. The words of the author and the images of the illustrator meshed perfectly. So when joy entered the town and its’ surroundings, red and green colors appeared in the images.
A great book for all to enjoy the winter season with its’ many holiday surprises. I especially liked the Victorian lady’s boots hanging on the ghosts’ fireplace.
Thanks NetGalley and the publisher Tundra Books for providing me an eARC to review.

This was such a cute book! If you read The Little Ghost Who Was A Quilt then you are sure to love this one. Follow along with the little ghost quilt as he brings winter fun to his friends.

Even a little ghost needs something to look forward to during the cold long winter months; especially after Halloween has passed. The story is a simple expansion on the previous book. The quilted ghost has friends and is trying to do something nice and thoughtful for them. It would've been nice if they were trying to do something nice and thoughtful for him.
Byron Eggenschwiler has really outdone himself. These illustrations are gorgeous. I think it could've been quite successful as a wordless picture book. My three year old very much enjoyed it.
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy the Fan brothers.

I was so happy to have access to this #ARC from #NetGalley. I love the original story of The Little Ghost Quilt and this one is just as magical. Like other timeless book characters, this sweet little ghost quilt will live on for years and years with these incredible stories.

So this is a cute little book. I believe this is a series of books and the concept of a ghost made of a quilt is very sweet. Not a ton of plot or stakes, but sometimes you just need a nice little book with good art. I have no complaints here, really.

This was a sweet and delightful read. The story line flowed and was easy to follow along with. I absolutely loved the illustrations, they added such a magical feel to the winter landscape. For a family whose favourite occasion is Halloween, this is the perfect story for Christmas time. I will be purchasing this book for my Grandchildren's "read-to-me" shelf!

"The Little Ghost Quilts Winter Surprise" is such a charming read! While a semi-spooky holiday tale might not be for everyone, I absolutely loved it. My four-year-old, who’s a big fan of all things spooky, really enjoyed the story too. It’s a heartwarming tale about facing fears and overcoming challenges, all in an effort to bring joy to friends. Perfect for little ones who love a little bit of mystery mixed with sweetness!

A ghost made out of a quilt explores the winter around him. He is sad that his other ghost friends can't go outside since their sheets are not warm enough. While adventuring the ghost discovers humans decorating for Christmas and makes it a mission to bring it back to it's friends. This is a heartwarming story that is not scary, but rather cozy. The pictures are beautiful and the splashes of color bring it to live. A book that would pair perfect with hot chocolate and a cozy fire!

This heartwarming winter/holiday story follows the beloved quilted ghost from The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt as he finds creative ways to bring joy to the other ghosts in his home. It’s a cozy celebration of kindness, learning new traditions, and spreading happiness to those around you.
If you loved The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt, this is the perfect addition to your collection! It’s a must-have for classroom libraries and a great read-aloud for the holiday season. I can’t wait to share it with my students next year

The Little Ghost Quilt's Winter Surprise is a cute holiday-themed addition to this series. The book perfectly captures the spirit of Christmastime and other enjoyable things about winter. Other themes are the importance of friendship and spending time with loved ones. This picture book is perfect for Halloween and Christmas lovers alike.

Adorable illustrations and a cute continuation of this story! I loved the color in contrast to the black and white, it really made the holiday season pop. A great little book to read aloud for kids.

What an adorable followup to the first story of a ghost quilt! Being able to be cozy outside during the winter, Little Ghost Quilt sees people coming together to celebrate the winter holidays and gets an idea. Little Ghost Quilt wants to come up with a way to share this coziness with friends who can't spend time outside in the cold. A sweet story about sharing the magic of the season with the ones we love.

The Little Ghost Quilts Winter Surprise is such a good follow up the The Little Ghost Who Was A Quilt. Our Ghost gets to experience Christmas joy and then goes to share it with his friends.

In this beautifully illustrated children's book a ghost quilt discovers the magic of Christmas to share with his friends. I'm so glad I decided to request this adorable children's book. Thank you NetGalley for the digital copy for this book in exchange for an honest review. I found the artwork to be gorgeous and really convey the story and emotions of The Little Ghost Quilt. The story was so heartwarming. I think this book shows kids the importance of helping friends and bringing them joy, especially at Christmas. It shows the importance of being together with loved ones during the holidays (or any time of year) and how it can bring joy to all. I can't wait for others to read this adorable story!

This is an enchanting series and I was thrilled to see a winter themed book. Little Ghost quilt is on a mission to bring joy to his friends and he takes some ideas from his neighboring humans to do so. I loved the friendship scenes. The empathy, joy and kindness that they share is wonderful . The Illustrations are beautiful and the story is heartwarming.

This is a cute story with wonderful illustrations. It's got a little Nightmare Before Christmas going on with the ghost wanting to bring the Christmas spirit back to his friends.

This was such a CUTE refreshing read. It is an unconventional holiday book about little ghosts being inspired by the holiday festivities ( that is never named but very much resembles Christmas) and they make their own fun taking inspiration from all the decorations. It shows that anyone can have their own kind of fun during the holidays.

Cute and perfect book to start reading early in the Fall heading towards Christmas time! This book is well illustrated and the little one enjoyed the story. It's a good story that teaches children thoughtfulness of sharing joyful a experience with others and recreating them together. Such experiences are made even better with good friends & company. The little one and I found some of the illustrations funny and interesting. It allows for open ended questions during and after the book. A book that is definitely recommendable and will be appreciated in the colder months.

A truly adorable addition to The Little Ghost Quilt series!
I, and my toddler, love reading about the Little Ghost Quilt's adventures, and what they learn along the way about themselves and friends.
The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and complement the lovely story very well.
Would highly recommend this to anyone with a toddler!
