The Little Ghost Quilt's Winter Surprise shares a similar moral with it's original installment. Although it is tailored for children, this book is a great read for all all ages if you want your spirits lifted and your self-esteem boosted.

This is a children's book for children who might love Halloween and all things spooky. Little Ghost Quilt goes on a journey to share winter holiday cheer with his sheet ghost friends.

I enjoyed the illustrations but the story itself felt a little long and choppy writing. It wasn't one that I felt compelled to continue reading and wouldn't necessarily pick it up again. I did think the illustrations were well done and I was looking more for the images from page to page than the written content.

Second in the Little Ghost Quilt Series, our intrepid little explorer explores the Joys of Winter, misses his sheet ghost pals, discovers the Christmas Season: and then works to bring Joy to his friends and to himself!

This little ghost is a quilt instead of a sheet, like his friends. Because he can stay warmer in the winter, he travels outdoors more often and is able to enjoy Christmas around town. He concocts a plan to bring the Christmas spirit to his other ghost friends in this entertaining heartwarming ghost caper.

What an absolute delightful little book. I am a brand new grandmother and this little cutie patootie is going to have space in not only the library in my grand daughter's nursery, but also at her library in our home. The little ghost that could quilt made me have a 100 watt smile at every page .

The Little Ghost Quilt’s Winter Surprise is such a sweet and heartwarming story. Many readers in my school first met Little Ghost Quilt in the first book as a read aloud, and were delighted by the story and illustrations. After reading the second book, I know the same sentiments will remain with readers. There is a lovely theme of friendship and celebrating holidays together. The illustrations really make the story come alive, and I just love the pops of colour throughout the story. Little Ghost Quilt is a favourite character of mine, and I hope there are more adventures in the future.
Thank you for the digital ARC of this story. It will absolutely be added to my library collection once published.

Thank you, NetGalley for the opportunity to enjoy reading this ARC!
What a wonderful book about traditions and finding inspiration. I thought it was very appropriate for the little ghost quilt to be attracted to the humans' Christmas tree and wanting to make something similar to share with his other friends. This is a book that can speak across generations and anyone would be able to enjoy it. Most enjoyable was how the little ghost quilt took a tradition and made it work for himself and his friends, much like many of us do with our own cultures and traditions with our family and loved ones!

This is a darling book. I absolutely love the illustrations; how the background is a bit muted but the ghost who was a quilt is always vibrant. These types of illustrations really draw you in. I especially like the illustrations that span both pages. It sends a cute message of doing something to make others happy and also togetherness.

This second book is just as beautiful as the first. The art and story are beautiful. Given that it is more text heavy and recommend it for ages 6+

Thank you NetGalley and Tundra Books for this ARC!! Sometimes you gotta add a children’s book into the mix and appreciate the artwork!
This was the CUTEST little story about a ghost who is made out of quilt instead of a sheet and his journey through snowy land and Christmas towns! The ghost gets to experience Christmas spirits at their full since he is able to go outside, his other ghostly family members are unable to since they are made out of sheets :( he feels left out but in the end realizes that he can contribute more to his family and provide them with Christmas cheer as they stay indoors to avoid the heavy snow.
Such as cute children’s book and idea!! I absolutely loved it!!! 10/10

What a beautiful story about the Little Ghost Quilt! As the seasons change, so does the surrounding of the Little Ghost Quilt. It is a lovely story that brings the Little Ghost Quilt into a cozy winter season!! Beautiful!!! Thank you for allowing me to preview! This one will be going on the grand baby’s shelf for sure!

An absolutely adorable little story involving a ghost who is a little different but has a huge heart. It isn’t just a cute little story but also a life lesson. The ghosts friends were different, so there needed to be problem solving in order to share a new experience. Because of this everyone had a wonderful night. I can’t wait for this book to release it’s precious and the art style is phenomenal

Thanks to NETGALLEY and Tundra Book Group for eARC // *Part of A Little Ghost Quilt Book
This booooook has some of the coziest art. I would frame practically every page, they are just cute as buttons. Same goes for the story itself, which, to me, was a story of resilience, determination, friendship, togetherness, and creativity. There's inclusion in the art, too, with a nice little nod to Hanukkah/Chanukah. There are some rhymes, some silly lines, and it's neat to spot the quilt ghost like Where's Waldo/Wally, only he is easier to spot. It gave me Haunted Mansion and Sir Alfred Hitchcock ghost stories vibes.
I haven't read any other boooook in this spooktacular series, yet, but I would love to own them all.

Cute book about a ghost who is a quilt instead of a sheet. The quilt ghost can fly outside in winter unlike his friends who are sheets and discovers a winter celebration that he wants to share with his friends. The grayscale illustrations with pops of color fit the story. Thanks to NetGalley and Tundra Books for the ARC.

We really liked this book. There was a delay in getting it as the Galley copy was incorrectly linked, but I'm actually glad that we read this right after Christmas, rather than back in November. My daughter (5) loved this book even more than the first! She was super invested, asking about the poor tired Ghost Quilt after his struggle with the tree branch. We chatted about how he wasn't able to fly with his friends because the wind was too strong for them, and how he was bringing them winter cheer to include them this time. The illustrations are perfectly adorable, and the story was engaging and sweet with a good message. When I asked my daughter if this was a 4 or 5 star she said it was 1 million stars. I then asked her if she would like me to get her a real paper book version we could read, rather than on my phone and she got very excited and agreed. As someone who does fibre crafts, I love that inclusion with the quilt. I also love that this is a Canadian author, and that the message of the story is clearly presented without being heavy handed.

This is a sweet little book about a Little Ghost Quilt who wants to do something special for his other ghost friends. The illustrations are quite lovely and I really enjoyed the artwork.

I read The Little Ghost Who Became A Quilt this with my daughters for the first time recently and they LOVED it! This one was just the same! This sweet little quilted ghost, who now has more confidence in being a quilted ghost, loves enjoying the winter but his friends get to cold because they aren't quilts. Little ghost begins an adventure to bring the joy of the Christmas season inside for his friends to enjoy. We loved continuing on the journey of little ghost's life and loved this book! Definitely will be recommending it!

Absolutely precious!!! I just love the little ghost. What a sweet character! This one is a great book about finding ways to create community and comfort around you.

This was such a cute little read. The story is about the little ghost quilt and how he loves to be outside during winter. He wishes his friends could stay outside with him, but unfortunately they are sheets and get cold too fast. One day, he sees lights in the nearby town and goes to investigate. He's delighted to see the festivities and wishes his friends could as well. He decides to surprise his friends.
The illustrations are gorgeous. I love the message that this story tells. The ending seemed a little too rushed, but overall the story was great. I definitely recommend this book.
