You don't often think about life in such detail, but this book feels both profound and eye-opening as it journeys through the different sections of existence. Many parts stood out or captivated me so deeply that I had to reread them before moving on to the next.

I felt as if I was present in each scene. The author’s words painted vivid images in my mind, as if I were seeing them unfold before me — like a movie I never wanted to end.

Some felt too short, leaving me wishing for just a little more. They filled my mind with questions, some tinged with melancholy, others wistful. This book carries a magical quality that makes me want to share it with everyone, wondering what thoughts or emotions it might evoke in them. Will they shed tears too, as I did when it ended? Will they feel open, ready to embrace life with fresh curiosity?

I devoured every page, feeling intrigued, awed, and delighted throughout the journey. It felt like coming home, a new beginning, and a source of hope all at once. I am grateful for the words that now linger in my mind.

I've never encountered writing that speaks to my soul in this way. Anna Mitchael, thank you for creating this beautiful work and for the place it now holds in my heart, captured among my favorite memories.

I typically don’t read poetry or collections of the essays, however I will say I’m glad I picked this one up. I think the first couple sections of the book were relevant to my life being that the time period they were taking place in was very relevant to the current stage of my life. I found a lot of comfort in knowing that I wasn’t alone in my feelings as a twenty-something going through life. I will say sections four and five were a little bit harder to relate to, being that I have not gotten to that point in my life yet, but I do believe it would hold relevancy to its target audience. Being that this is the authors experience with spirituality and her life, it feels strange to give it a rating, however, I would say that 3 to 3.5 is where I would go with that.

I really enjoy a book in prose. I enjoyed this one but it did start to drag a little bit towards the middle and then end. It was a fast read that was broken up into multiple subsections which I enjoyed.

Some of the essays/poems were profound and touching, some were just weird. Beautiful writing and language, but definitely an acquired taste. I feel like if you’re a fan of books like “The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue” this book of vignette-style poetry is for you.

I liked it, but I didn't love it. Maybe it was just me but I had a hard time getting into some of the book and it felt like it dragged a little. However the poems that I did resonate with were really strong and powerful.

This wasn't my favourite book of poetry that I have ever read, but I didn't mind it. It did drag a bit near the end but the messages it had were solid and important. While it won't be for everyone, it was alright for what it was.

They Will Tell You the World Is Yours by Anna Mitchael is a thought-provoking collection of vignettes that follow a woman's growth from childhood through young adulthood. Semi-autobiographical, this is the writer's exploration of family, career and friendship, and the need we all share to discover a better version of ourselves and, ultimately, to discover our divine purpose as the years pass. I enjoyed each vignette and found a lesson in each morsel of truth. Recommended.
