Matthew, Sarah, and Amanda were performing a full-face transplant at gun point. Mr. Glock said if the patient died, they would all die too. When a small nick proves fatal, everyone’s life is in jeopardy.

The book has a steady pace, the characters are somewhat developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. This reminded me of the movie Face Off with John Travolta and Nicholas Cage.

In all honesty this started out really well and then floundered a bit. Too much is going on. I think it could have been edited down a bit. Some really incredible ideas here that could be scary but there's a couple mistakes that took it down a notch.

This was an enjoyable medical thriller with suspense, action and adventure. The writing was choppy in spots but overall a good read.
Many thanks to AuthorBuzz and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to go through with this. I might come back someday.

I would like to thank the publisher and netgalley for providing me a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Five stars for the concept, which is a bit scary but all to easy to imagine.
However, three stars for the writing, which I felt didn't flow very well, and for the slightly unrealistic parts of the book.
However, I loved Alice! Obviously, the rest of them would have fallen apart without her, and I thought she was just wonderful. Almost tempted to add another star just for Alice, but it just wasn't a five star book for me.

This book was a tough read for me. I think the author has a pretty good, interesting story here. However, I just couldn't adjust to way it is written, The way in which some, most, sentences begin, to the entire way the story is told just isn't for me. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

A suspenseful medical read that I still do not fully understand everythign that happened. It was interesting and would recommend to mystery/thriller readers.

I read this book back in March 2016, compliments of NetGalley, but I can't locate my review there or on GoodReads. *scratching head* Apologies to the author, publisher and NetGalley for this oversight, and for re-writing my review with a less-than-fresh memory two years later.

Unfortunately, I can't remember a lot about the individual characters, but when I read the synopsis, I knew I had already read this before. A quick look at Kindle confirmed the date I'd finished, and I skimmed back through to refresh my memory of this medical thriller. I recall it being an entertaining read, obviously written with much medical knowledge... maybe a little too much for some laypeople.

Interesting read that has you intrigued. Twists and turns that have you on a roller coaster ride

A rare DNF for me. This is a good idea and potentially a very good plot but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The writing is stilted and emotionless, and I had trouble following who was talking or thinking. I hated that it was written in the present tense, it just felt so wrong. And what on earth was all the pseudo-religious 'Beautiful Life' and 'Time and Space are Infinite' stuff about? I failed to see the relevance to the story, but maybe that's because I didn't finish it. Sorry!
