Back when I read this the first time, I really liked it. I think I still like it, because the complexity of the characters is so true-to-life. However, there is a huge question of consent hanging over most of the book and I don't feel like it is handled...at all, really. I think this is one I need to go back and read.

WOW WOW WOW this book was not okay. Having sex with someone when you know they are not themselves and cannot consent to what you are doing? Downplaying all of it? Not understanding why they are angry???

I couldn't finish this book, it was too upsetting and not cool.
