🚀 Okay, folks, strap in because Daily Grind and Other Astounding Stories takes you from coffee mugs to alien invasions faster than you can say “Space Nazis” (yes, they’re in here, and it’s amazing). This book is like someone took everyday life, shook it in a blender with time travelers, talking cats, and Martians, and served it up with a big old smirk. It’s weird, it’s funny, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously—thank goodness. If you love sci-fi that’s just as much about cracking a smile as it is about wild adventures, you need this book in your life. Five stars, 10 laughs, and maybe one existential crisis. 🛸🐱📚

Quite an enjoyable collection of short stories, or in some cases one liners. These are marked as science fiction, but I’d say not to let that put you off if you’re not keen on space type books, as, in this case, it just means make believe, and some of the stories have only slightly unusual events, or things that aren’t possible but seem like they could be. It’s written in a style you can easily pick up and put down, whilst still managing to finish the entire story each time, so it fits in well with busy modern lives. I’d recommend to anyone wanting a book they can read whilst commuting, or cooking, or any other activity where you’re likely to be disrupted
