This is a very informative book that is both optimistic without holding back punches. I highly recommend this book. Place it on your bookselve next to your Malcolm Gladwell volumes.

I really liked this book! Minshall breaks down the way things are made in such away that it's understandable and connects the reader back with the objects they use. I found Minshall's writing engaging, and really fascinating. The objects chosen are unique and a blend between every day objects I use ever day and objects I have never once touched in my life.
