EXCELLENT book in Catherine’s catalog now. This was so addicting and fun. Loved the true crime podcast element so much. It was unique and I was hanging onto the suspense. Catherine is so good at what she does and remains an author I can always count on.

I loved this audiobook! From the very first page, I was drawn into the mystery surrounding Ridley’s sister’s disappearance, as well as Ridley’s career as a true crime podcaster. She’s determined to help families find answers and justice. If you love true crime, this is a must-read!

The grumpy sheriff, Colt, doesn’t make the best first impression. But you can hardly blame him as he’s trying to protect his town from someone he sees as an outsider, looking to exploit their tragedy.

It takes a while for Ridley and Colt to trust each other’s intentions, and their sharp exchanges every time they cross paths hardly mask their undeniable attraction. The dual POV of their reluctant chemistry was so much fun to read!

Honestly, this book was so, so good! Am I officially a romantic suspense girlie now? All I want to do is binge read Catherine Cowles entire backlist.

🎧Audio Specific: Andi and Sebastian knocked it out of the park! The emotion they convey in their narration really brings the characters to life. I’m not surprised as I’ve enjoyed both of their work in the past. I’ll gladly recommend this audiobook to everyone!

Outstanding. I was so captivated in this audiobook. The narrators took this story and brought it to life with their perfectly executed performance. I was in a trance, waiting with bated breath as the story was being told. The voices fit the characters to a T, and were exactly what I envisioned when reading it. Listening to this story was nothing short of amazing. My senses were at an all-time high as the author’s words, delicately pieced together, really had my imagination in overdrive. This was a story within a story. Hearing and reading it were two different experiences that I look forward to doing over and over again.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! Catherine Cowles… you outdid yourself with this one! It was FAN-EERILY-TASTIC!! I can’t get over that ending because I just couldn’t believe it!! I am still shook to my core with the entire storyline.

A podcaster, who started her career path after the disappearance of her twin sister, goes to a small town to further research a case which involved a similar victim to her sister, but one that managed to escape! It’s her goal in life to help people track down their loved ones/solve cold cases, but also to find justice for her sister who they never were able to find.

In a world where she doesn’t seem to fit in, she manages to find solace in a small town and among people with the biggest hearts. Especially with a hunky sheriff who isn’t keen on her presence in town, but also can’t help himself with her 😮‍💨 what starts off as a enemies to lovers relationship turns into a something quite special BUT ALSO REALLY SMOKING HOT!! These two can relate to one another more than anyone else has and their relationship really is magically chaotic ❤️

Yall really need to read this one. If you like the feeling after they figure out who the unsub is on criminal minds or law and order THEM YOU WILL DEVOUR THIS BOOK WHOLE!

This has the possibility to be one of my favorite books of the year you all, it was so good and I am officially obsessed with romantic suspense! I think it is my new favorite genre.

I just loved the characters in this book…. Like I loved them! Colt and Ripley’s back stories really helped them relate to one another and I enjoyed seeing them make space for one another. It was beautiful.

I’m not sure if this is going to be a series or not but I am here for it if so!

This was my first book by this author and I can’t wait to read more. It gripped my interest from the very first page. I loved the character development and growth in both Ridley and Colt. They have amazing chemistry and a deep connection that slowly develops throughout the story. And the suspense! I didn’t figure out the criminal until it was revealed towards the end and I usually know from the beginning. It was quite a shock to me. Fantastic read!

Catherine Cowles did it again with this book. The tension and banter between Ridley and Colt was everything. Their ability to bond over their trauma brings so much emotion. It was beautiful and I loved watching their relationship evolve. Law Man and Chaos will live in my heart forever.

I cannot even put into words how well this plot was written. At every turn, you get more and more engrossed in the story. Also, the plot twist was perfection.

NARRATION:
Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are perfection in this audio. They brought Ridley and Colt to life. The emotion and chemistry that they brought to the story was incredible. Sebastian was the perfect voice for the grumpy sheriff. Andi was a perfect Ridley and embodied all of her characteristics.

Thank you so much to Catherine Cowles, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and Dreamscape Media for this ARC/ALC in exchange for my honest review.

AMAZING! Mystery. Suspense. Grief. Trauma. Banter. A three legged cat that gives “tooth hugs”. ALL THE FEELS.

I absolutely loved Ridley, the FMC. She was so smart and determined. She has a past trauma that’s fueling her drive to solve this case. Ridley was incredible. She was strong, brave, and sassy, but she was also compassionate and kind. She was not only determined to solve the case, but she was compassionate and caring while doing it.

Colter, the town sheriff, isn’t happy Ridley came into his town and is trudging up old trauma. He and Ridley did not get along at first. He wants to protect the people of Shady Cove and doesn’t like that she’s stirring up trouble. But the closer Ridley gets to the truth, her safety is threatened, and Colt wants nothing more than to protect her. The chemistry between these two is so good!

This was a wild ride! In true Catherine Cowles fashion, she will keep you guessing until the very end!! I did not see this one coming! I don’t know how she does it. Every. Single. Time. I’ve never been able to figure out who the "bad guy" is! One day Catherine… I’m going to figure it out! 😂

I cannot forget to talk about the audio. The audio for All The Missing Pieces was so good. Andi Arndt was amazing as Ridley. (She’s quickly become one of my favorite female narrators.) And Sebastian York was so great as Colt! Both of them really brought the characters and story to life!

Law Man & Chaos🩷
I swear every book Catherine writes just gets better and better! I absolutely loved Colt and Ridley, they had such amazing chemistry from the start and their banter was just amazing!

Ridley is a true crime podcaster looking into a cold case that she has a personal connection to and Colt is a local sheriff in Shady Cove, the town that Ridley is searching around. The enemies to lovers was done so well in this one, seeing Colt going from wanting nothing to do with Ridley to protecting her through everything was just perfection. The connection they had was truly beautiful, I couldn't get enough of these two!

Colt and Ridley may be my new favorite couple of Catherine's, I couldn't get enough of these two. They were honestly perfect together and fit so well together. The suspense in this one was amazing, the twists and turns made it impossible to put down. I can easily say I was in complete shock with ending of this one! If you love romantic suspense in a cute small town, I highly recommend this one

This was a great book to start off 2025! It definitely is not typically something I read (romantic suspense), but I think Cowles has made a fan out of me. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and while I had a hunch, I knew who the killer was, I could not for the life of me figure out the why! Ridley was a great character who did a lot of good, while maybe causing a little chaos as she worked through everything. Colter reminded me of Knox Morgan from TWNGO but less of a grump (but still a grump). He's such a good brother and will do anything to keep his loved ones safe.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York were perfect for this story. I could listen to them read a shampoo bottle.

Story 4/5, Narrators 5/5

Thank you Catherine, Sourcebooks and Dreamscape Media for the ARC/ALC.

“We’d be playing with fire.” “Then let’s watch it burn.”

I really enjoy true crime so the concept of a podcaster traveling the country trying to find answers to unsolved murders caught my attention. That’s Ridley’s story. She experienced the tragic loss of her twin sister and now she’s searching for the truth, while trying to live a life for them both.

Her research takes her to Constellation Lake where she meets Colter Brooks. As the sheriff, he isn’t thrilled to have her around. They butt heads… until they don’t.

Catherine Cowles delivers a delicate and heartfelt story. Relatable. Smoothly executed becoming one of my favorite Catherine books.

Love Andi Arndt as Ridley and Sebastian York’s husky, deep voice is like velvet showcasing Colt’s grumpy yet sexy disposition. A brilliant pairing to bring these characters to life.

“I want to make sure they all get a voice. All the ones who lost theirs.”

“I slid my fingers through his, linking us together. I squeezed with everything I had. Because I wanted to tell him one thing. The only thing I’d never truly had but wanted so damn badly. That he wasn’t alone.”

“We aren’t taking chances. Not with you. Not ever.”

Wow is this my favorite Catherine Cowles book to date? If it isn’t number 1, it sure is up there. I’ve said time and time again, Catherine can really write a grumpy hero and it did not fail here👏🏻

Thank you netgalley and the publishers for my #gifted copies of this book. All opinions are my own.

I adored Ridley and Colt. I don’t think there’s much more to say than that. These two had a connection not many people could understand. I loved watching them understand each other and learn to grow together.

I loved the care that Ridley used when talking to victims on her podcast and the empathy she had for everyone. I really enjoyed the true crime side of this one.

I honestly didn’t try to figure out who the perpetrator was in this one, but let me tell you, I was not expecting that!

🎧I have eyeball read this one and listened to this one and it was amazing both times. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did such a great job as Ridley and Colt. Two of my favorites brought these characters to life.

Catherine does it again! It is impossible to pick up one of her books and not have a good time!

I will forever adore a Catherine Cowles heroine narrated by Andi and Sebastian has always been a favourite of mine so this duo was perfect!

All The Missing Pieces follows Ridley & Colt. Ridley is a true crime podcaster who suffered a tragedy as a teen and wants to help bring closure to other families who have lost their love ones. Colt is the Sheriff of Shady Cove and understands that pain all too well in a different sense. After some initial bickering, the two finally join forces to find the answers they’ve both been searching for, for years and bring justice once and for all.

Although their relationship started off rocky, I adored these two. Their banter was hilarious and it was so beautiful seeing them help each other heal. They related to each other in a way no one else understood and that meant they could finally let their guards down and just be. Add in some loveable furry friends and Taters & Bowser made them the perfect little family unit.

I really enjoyed the mystery and suspense in this one. I loved seeing all the pieces of the case come together. In the biggest plot twist of all, I actually picked the bad guy for once. I feel like all the previous Catherine books I read trained me for this exact moment! To be fair though I doubted myself the entire time and suspected anyone and every one 😂

One thing I noticed more so in this book and LOVED was that we got to spend a lot more time with the townsfolk. Catherine always writes such close knit families and I adore the relationships we get to see within them but I also really liked getting to meet so many of the locals of Shady Cove. It felt like a real community and seeing them all come together made the ending all the more special. I’d love it if we got to revisit the town someday and catch up with all these incredible characters 💕

Thank you so much to Catherine for the ARC and Dreamscape Media for the ALC ✨

If Catherine writes it, there’s a pretty good chance it’s going to be a five stars and this book is no exception. I am a true crime fan and I loved how Catherine brought this story to life it was truly SO good.

Ridley is a true crime podcaster and is in Shady Cove investigating a string of cold cases that may be related. Colt is the sheriff in town and wasn’t happy about another news reporter poking around in his town. I loved Ridley’s character so much! She had such an amazing outlook on life and I felt she was the perfect match for our broody Colt. Colt and Ridley are EVERYTHING!!!

The audiobook was spectacular!!! I am a sucker for a good narration and Sebastian York and Andi Arndt were incredible! They truly brought this story to a whole other level and had me completely captivated.

As always, the plot twist had my jaw on the floor!!! I loved all the side characters and I cannot wait to see what Catherine comes up with next in this series!

If ever there was a book that I could give more than five stars to it would be for All the Missing Pieces. To say that I loved this one is an understatement!! I was hooked from the very beginning! This book was perfect! I found myself laughing throughout and then catching the feels. While this book centers around the heavy this author knew how to lighten things up a bit with a three legged cat! I was able to listen to the audio of this one. If you are an audio fan you will love it! The narrators brought the characters of Shady Cove to life. You will feel like you are there watching things go down! This is one of those books that will keep you guessing and when you think you might know what is going on…you find that you don’t. I am definitely left with a book hangover! I didn’t want this one to end! If you’re looking for a small town, suspense, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers romance look no further!!

Received an arc and alc for a honest review.

Law Man and Chaos. Tooth hugs and podcasts. Grumpy and sunshine in the small town of Shady Cove. Everyone was wary of Ridley Sawyer. She was a stranger in this small town. Nothing gets small towners to clam up faster than an interloper asking questions. But Ridley soon gets the townspeople to warm up to her. Only she could befriend the bartender, members of the local motorcycle club, and the one person they protect the most, Emerson Sinclair. It was Emerson's story that brought Ridley to Shady Cove. Ridley feels very strongly that Emerson's case linked to 23 other cases she's looked into. What Ridley keeps close to her vest is her link to these cases. Sheriff Colter Brooks, Emerson's brother and fiercest protector, doesn't like the fact that Ridley is resurrecting this case. Sure, he looks over the investigation files at least once a year, but he's law enforcement. Yet when Ridley needs looking after and a place to stay, Colt is just as protective of her as he is of his loved ones and friends.

Oh the banter between Ridley and Colt! They had me laughing out loud too many times to count! Then there's the townspeople who slowly warmed up to Ridley because how could you not like this gentle, friendly soul? I think what drew Ridely and Colt together was more than attraction; it was the recognition that they were carrying guilt around, that they both had grief so similar. Lots of healing happened in Shady Cove. I will venture to say that without Ridley rolling into town in her van with her cat Tater, her podcast, and her determination, Emerson's case would have stayed cold. And like every other time I read a book by the author, my suspicions of the perpetrator were so off base! This perp...downright diabolical!

The narrators, Andi Arndt and Sebastian York… chef’s kiss! They brought this story to life and gave it the right amount of mystery and love.

🧩All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles🧩

An all new, small-town romantic suspense novel from USA Today Bestselling author @catherinecowlesauthor is now available!

Book 3 of 2025 is none other than the newest release from one of my favourite authors, and I am happy to report is one that I thoroughly enjoyed (no surprises there!)

It was filled with that signature Catherine Cowles suspense, but this time on a whole other level! 🙈 I adored our couple and really loved the working dynamic they had as a true crime podcaster and the town sheriff. I felt there was less of a romantic focus in this one but of course there was the intertwining of personal storylines and ultimately their journey towards each other. The town of Shady Cove had all of what I love in a romance - small town, humour, meddling townsfolk, and even a three-legged cat! 🐱

So many of my favourite tropes were sprinkled throughout this book: forced proximity, enemies to lovers and grumpy/sunshine. Need I say more? 😍

True crime Podcast host and grumpy small town sheriff and add in a three legged cat that love bites makes this enemies to lovers romance suspense full of tension, emotion, anger, and happiness. Ridley is a traveling true crime podcaster because of her past- she travels in her van with her cat.

This is a very suspense - mystery romance that will keep you guessing throughout it all. Slow burn on the romance so if you haven’t tried Cowles yet because of romance- give this one a try. This has an insta love feel to it as well.

I really enjoyed Shady Cove - small town OR - had excellent side characters, some I hope get their HEA and then we have some great kids and elders to keep us entertained.

Wow! Catherine did not disappoint with this one!! I absolutely devoured this audiobook!!! This might be my new favorite Catherine Cowles book!

I absolutely loved the love hate tension between Ridley and Colt!! They had such great nicknames for each other! I love that Ridley had Colt putting down his walls for her!

The narration by Andi and Sebastian was great! They both did an amazing job bringing the story and characters to life!

If you have been thinking about reading Catherine Cowles, I definitely recommend this book!

I've read all of Catherine's books, and I always will. She is extremely great at not making it easy to figure out who the bad guy is. I actually did guess right for this one, which is wild to me and I still can't believe I did it! I actually really enjoyed Ridley's journey in this one! I can only imagine that kind of loss. I like that she went forward with purpose, but also, that she finally landed somewhere she'll get some support. Colt's initial response made sense, but I did want to smack him when he continued to be a jerk. This one got to the spice much quicker than her previous books, which surprised me. I think she set up a good world here in Shady Cove, and I'm looking forward to what we'll see next!
