This is my first Catherine Cowles book, but definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely loved this story. The audio was perfection. The characters were fun. I found myself listening to 85% of the book in one day before I finally forced myself to go to bed. Ridley and Colt have amazing chemistry and are ACTUALLY interesting and dynamic. I loved all the supporting characters too and I’m hoping this is a series that will continue Ridley/Colt and also we get to follow Emerson and see her healing journey too.

Thank you to NetGalley, Catherine Cowles, and Dreamscape Media for allowing me to listen. I can’t wait to check out more.

Let me preface by saying that Catherine Cowles is one of my favorite authors. This one, however, was not my favorite of her books. I'm struggling to really nail down what didn't quite work for me with "All the Missing Pieces", but I think it ultimately boils down to the fact that I was craving more? Everything felt sort of half-baked, like there wasn't a super clear direction for things, so it all felt a little incomplete. I think both Ridley & Colt's backstories were well done, but almost repetitive? Which then left me wanting more development plot-wise, instead of relying on the trauma. I don't know if I'm fully articulating this well, but I just wanted more. I will still read Catherine's books, and probably the rest of this series, this just was a bit of a miss for me.

I will say, I thought Andi Arndt & Sebastian York did a fantastic job narrating and bringing the story to life.

I have been counting down the days since the moment Cowles uttered the words “three-legged cat”.

All joking aside, this has been one of my most anticipated reads and Cowles did not disappoint! Ridley a.k.a. Taser of douchebags and tamer of or ornery brothers and Colter “lawman” Brooks’ story exceeded all of my expectations. The mystery, the humor, the romance, the cat! OMG THE CAT! Tater might just be my new favorite pet character.

I loved every single bingy moment of this book. Cowles brings out ALL the feels in this one. She has you literally crying one moment and laughing the next. And in usual CC fashion the true villain was not at all who I thought it was going to be.

What I loved;
💜 Romantic Suspense
💜 Grumpy x Sunshine
💜 Enemies To Lovers
💜 True Crime Podcast
💜 Chaos/Lawman
💜 Princess Tater - Tooth Hugs
💜 Meeting New Friends & Seeing Old Friends

“Colt, you helped me find all the missing pieces. Even the ones I didn’t realize I needed.”

I read this one with my eyes and ears (mostly listening) becuse um helllooo… Andi Arndt and Sebastian York!? It doesn’t get much better than this duo. Their voices to Cowles words was pure perfection. 😍 Thank you so much to Catherine Cowles and Dreamscape Media for the gifted copy.

This was such a thrilling read!! I really enjoyed the mystery and the narration. I wanted to give Ridley a massive hug the whole book, she's such an amazing character. I'd love to read more books about her solving open cases.
I LOVED the setting and the way the author describes it, it really felt like it was a real town. The cat was iconic.
This is the first book I've read from Catherine Cowles and it definitely won't be the last
I didn't expect the ending at all!!

🙏 Thank you to Dreamscape Media, NetGalley and the author for an advanced listener copy of All the Missing Pieces. All opinions are my own.

🎯 What I loved: Though Catherine Cowles uses a pretty similar format in all of her books, they all have a great build to the whodunnit where there are multiple potential perpetrators and All the Missing Pieces really kept me guessing the killer until the last possible second. There was a nice enemies to lovers plot with some great banter on top of the mystery so this was really a best of both worlds book. I enjoyed the podcast backdrop and that the specific crime that Ridley was investigating wasn't actually her own and that while the survivor was central to the story, she wasn't necessarily the protagonist which felt a little different than many of Cowles' other books. The way this all came together was satisfying and I liked Shady Cove. The audio on this was really well done and I think Andi Arndt and Sebastian York were well cast.

🙅‍♀️ What I didn't: I've said it before and I'll say it again: I find the use of nicknames awkward and the ones in this book (Law Man and Chaos) were bizarre and overused. Other than that, this kept my heart racing and had me rooting for the main characters to connect and solve their cases and I'd definitely recommend it.

Read if you love:
*stories centered around investigative podcasts
*enemies to lovers
*small town romance/thriller
*law enforcement MMC
*interconnected crimes slowly unraveling

I loved that the heroine was a true crime podcaster. I’ve not read anything like this storyline before so it felt fresh and new. Despite what happened in Emerson’s life, she was bold and brave. I loved the idea of traveling all over in a van/camper. The life seems so adventurous even though most of her travel was to follow the crimes she was trying to help break. Colt camps be a bit of a jerk. He had apseveral jerk moments, but nothing to make you not like him. He was overprotective in a good way and a wonderful big brother. This was a great listen. The narrator did a great job!

I absolutely LOVED this book! There were so many wonderful things. The mystery and suspense were intriguing, interesting and held my attention from start to finish. The characters were very well developed. They could have jumped off the page. The romance between Ridley and Colter was organic and developed realistically. They had pet names for each other and normally that annoys me, but it just fit these characters. The character motivations, back stories and arcs fit perfectly for the story. This was my first book by this author and I can not wait to go back and read her backlist. The narrators Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did a phenomenal job. They were perfect for this story. This is a great romantic suspense and I highly recommend it! Huge thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape media for allowing me to listen and review this book.

I’d like to thank NetGalley for providing the ARC of this fantastic book. If you enjoy true crime, podcasts, and romantic suspense, this one is definitely worth checking out. Catherine Cowles does a wonderful job of blending these elements into a really engaging romance.

The story centers on Ridley, a true crime podcaster investigating Shady Cove, where she believes a serial killer had his first victim. Colt, the sheriff, tries to protect his town from her probing but soon finds himself helping her uncover the truth.

Ridley and Colt's dynamic shifts from tension to attraction, creating a compelling relationship. The suspense is gripping, and the villain’s reveal will leave you surprised — it's Classic Cowles!

With a strong cast of characters and a vibrant small-town setting, this book is an exciting read. I highly recommend picking it up when it comes out in January!

True crime podcaster Riley and a surly grump Sheriff Colt bump heads while she investigates a cold case in a small town. The balance of romance and suspense was perfect. It was a great introduction to this new town Shady Cove and so many great characters that did not overshadow the main plot. The tension between Ridley and Colt was addictive.
The narrators were perfect. The whole production was well done.

CATHERINE DOES IT AGAIN OMG!! Ahhh, I absolutely loved this book so so much! I was literally hooked from the very first page, and she had me hanging on the edge of my seat the entire time! I didn’t want to put this one down, and I love Ridley & Colt so much! And Tater & Bowser! This was amazing & I could not get enough.

This book had me feeling all the emotions but in the best way. Ridley might just be my favorite FMC ever. Catherine Cowles always writes strong heroines, but Ridley’s resilience and the way she turned her sister’s disappearance into a purpose that brings peace to others truly stole my heart.

As for Holt… let’s just say he started out as a bit of a turd 😂, but his growth and redemption made me fall for him just as much. Watching Ridley and Holt’s partnership blossom into something so beautiful was everything I wanted and more.

Audiobook wise, Andi Arndt and Sebastian York brought Ridley and Holt to life in a way only they can. Their performance was flawless, capturing every ounce of heartbreak, hope, and love this story holds.

Two of my favorite hobbies are reading romance and anything true crime. Put it them together and I am one happy girl! This book was different than Catherine’s usual fare, which I deeply appreciated; having read her entire backlist, I needed something different from her! I’m so glad to have read this story.

This book was so so good! It definitely shot up to one of my favorite Catherine Cowles book! I loved the mystery aspect and how she was investigating it. I thought it brought in the typical romantic thriller aspect that Catherine is known for, but in a different and refreshing way. I thought this was absolutely fantastic :)

Romantic suspense has quickly become my favorite book genre and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Catherine Cowles has changed reading for me. I love everything she writes, All the Missing Pieces included.

From the sweetest sisterhood to devastating loss, then banter and groveling, to found family and finding home, this book has it all. I love the balance of suspense and mystery with romance and spice. It flows naturally together in the best way!

Read this if you’re in the mood for…
- healing each other
- who did this to you
- small town meddling turns to found family
- fur babies
- hurt/comfort
- grumpy/sunshine

This is a beautifully written story of healing and love and it’ll be living rent free in my mind. Not to mention I had absolutely no clue about the big reveal at the end!! I’d like to issue a formal apology to Ezra bc I was so suspicious and he was just trying to make good coffee lol

Here are a few of my favorite things…
- Tater can do no wrong lol
- the basket of organic groceries as groveling? Yes please.
- the way everyone is patient with each other and gives space for comfortable silence. I love it
- Em and Ridley’s friendship. I hope we get another book in this world so we can see more

I could go on and on. I HIGHLY recommend!!

So, like, romantic suspense is a thing?! If this book is good representation of that, this might be my new favorite genre! Oh my gosh, the mystery, the danger, the intrigue! I was hooked in early on and I was happy to let it reel me all the way in.

When Ridley's sister disappeared, she started living double. She had to experience the world twice as much, in honor of the life her sister didn't get to live. She lives life out of the back of her van, traveling the country recording true crime podcasts. She's good at her job because she can empathize with the grieving family's and has a bone-deep interest in finding sickos and getting justice for their crimes.

Of course she has been researching the disappearance of her own sister, and she believes it wasn't just an isolated incident. Her next project is investigating the failed kidnapping of a woman Ridley believes was her sister's killer's first victim. When she rolls into town, she finds the victim's brother is a sheriff, and overprotective at that, which won't make things easy for her.

First of all, the construction. When an author crafts her characters to fundamentally fit, and then throws in a dramatic question that not only justifies but also inherently creates conflict for story between them, it's like friggin magic, and Cowles has done it in All the Missing Pieces.

Come on! A crime podcaster and a cop? Both with family members who were victims of the same type of crime? Their goals don't only align, they're exactly the same, but there's so much room for tension and conflict and that's👏🏼what👏🏼we👏🏼live👏🏼for👏🏼

It's spicy too, did I mention? *blushes*

We've got an active investigation, plenty of suspects, old secrets resurfacing, hot bods, sexual tension, and sparks a-flying. There is real danger, protective instincts, and cute animal sidekicks with quirks that make you go aww. Seriously, I loved every word, and I can't wait to read more exactly like this. Everyone drop me some recs!

I am so grateful I got to listen to an advanced copy of this title through the publisher and netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.

There was so many ups and downs and mysteries within this story it was riveting. It was also heartbreaking at the same time. I’m really looking forward to more stories from this cast of characters. The narration was excellent too. It brought the story and characters to life. Highly recommend this book and author..

True crime podcast fans are going to eat this up! All The Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles is bone chilling suspenseful romance at its finest!

I love Catherine Cowles and her books but All The Missing Pieces takes her supsenful stories to another level and the narrators made it so much better. I felt like I was on pins and needles. The narrators truly did an amazing job and I thought that they added so much more suspense, tension and upped the emotions in the book. it felt like I was listening to a true crime podcast and wondering what would happen next. the audiobook adds so much tension that makes you feel uneasy and unable to stop listening. I think thrillers are so much better on audiobook and this was an absolute hit for that reason alone. The audiobook and narration on this story is 10/10 amazing and I think Catherine picked perfectly for it. I love that this book takes the mystery as first storyline and we see mystery solving, plot twists, and it is shocking and surprising. Her mind takes us to places we would never imagine or guess the culprit. Catherine always manages to throw me for a loop but I also really liked that this story touches on victims and how they live past that. What it's like to live day to day after surviving something horrible. It shows us what its like to live with guilt, grief and how sometimes being afraid holds us back but also giving a voice to them and listening to their stories and doing them justice and what its like to feel helpless. With all that there's a romance blooming between. A podcaster and a sheriff, a dynamic duo you would think but they couldn't be more opposite and start off as enemies and slowly become unlikely accomplices to help others and what later forms into a friendship that blooms into love through all that which shows there's always light at the end of a tunnel. A compelling story that takes you on thrilling emotional roller coaster but so good!

here’s to hoping we get more books in shady cove. This book felt very different than other books of Catherine’s and I loved it. The character development for both FMC and MMC was incredible.
