I always know when I pick up a Catherine book that Iβm in for a wild ride. In this book we are following Ridley as she tries to solve what happened to her twin sister years ago. Her true crime podcast has brought major attention to unsolved crimes and finally given people answers they have been searching for. But this case, in this town is linked to her sisterβs disappearance. The last thing the people in this town want is Ridley digging around and asking questions, especially Colt - the town sheriff.
Before I used to listen to audiobooks all the time, I was obsessed with podcasts, especially true crime podcasts. So following a FMC who hosts a true crime podcast was a fun time. I loved the narrators and I did not see the twist coming for this one. Excited to continue this series!

No one does romantic suspense like Catherine!!! And this one with the true crime aspect I was sucked into the story the entire time.
Ridley hosts her own true crime podcast and is headed in her *van* to a super small town where she thinks she can link a cold case to others. Colt, the local sheriff, and her have a NOT so cute meet cute and get started on the wrong foot. They instantly can't stand each other but find out quickly they will be working together on this 10 year old cold case.
Once again I was completely lost as to where this suspenseful ride was going and didn't guess a thing.
Colt was the grumpy and bloody sheriff and Ridley was so quirky and fun!
Thank you to Catherine, @dreamscape_media, @netgalley and @sourcebookscasa for this ALC & ARC

A fabulous new enemies to loversβ novel from Catherine Cowles that ties in with the rise in popularity of true crime podcasts. Her heroine in All the Missing Pieces Ridley Sawyer is a podcaster, travelling the country in her teal-coloured VW camper van, driven by the fate of her missing twin sister, determined to find justice for other families and bring them a modicum of peace, personally aware of the pain that not knowing brings. When she arrives at the small, picturesque mountain town of Shady Cove on her latest case the local sheriff Colter Brooks definitely isnβt happy to see her. His sister was a victim who had survived and the last thing he wants is the past raked up and reporters descending on his town. But for Riley his sisterβs particular case may have a more personal connection.
The Queen of romantic suspense has done it again, giving readers a fantastic romantic suspense novel balancing out the intrigue without skimping on all the feels and emotions in her storytelling. Guilt over what had happened to their respective siblings had shaped the lives of the hero and heroine, affecting their behaviour in different ways, Colter had become uber-protective while Ridley felt she had to make every second count. As for the whodunnit element of the story, well it kept this reader guessing. Not once did I consider this person a suspect. So, if youβre looking for a book thatβll keep you guessing till the very end, I highly recommend you give this one a go. You wonβt be disappointed, I know I wasnβt. This was possibly the best book Iβve read from this author.
Catherine Cowles style of writing translates easily to audiobooks, her storytelling is so vivid and descriptive its easy to visualise each scene play out in your mind as you listen and with dual narration for All the Missing Pieces provided by Andi Arndt & Sebastian York I knew before I pressed play that I was in for a treat. This narrating duo more than did justice to a great story, bringing Ripley and Colter to life, capturing all their characters emotions, from their guilt to their mutual antagonism which soon became a grudging respect as they got to know one another. Five well deserved stars to both artists for their performances here.

I was lucky enough to read an advanced copy of this one and I think youβre going to really enjoy it. Thereβs mystery, suspense, heartbreak, romance and the cutest little Northern California town.
I absolutely loved the sass and witty banter between the two main characters. Colt and Ridley have more in common than they even realize. I enjoyed watching everything unfold and secrets be uncovered.
I say this almost every time I read the start of a new series by Catherine, but I absolutely adore the communities that she builds in her small towns. The members of Shady Cove will keep you on your toes. Theyβll have you laughing, suspicious, and warm your heart. Theyβre a tight knit crew who looks out for their own. But Iβve learned with her books that you can TRSUT NO ONE until the very end.
The βvillainβ in this particular story definitely took me a bit by surprise. They were one of my suspects, but not who I hoped it would be. The twists and turns to reveal this person did make up for that part though. Very creative!
Can these two help each other solve the mysteries of their pasts and heal from their traumas? Youβll have to read to find out.
Whoβs ready to enter their true crime podcaster era?!?
I hope you enjoy.

Catherine Cowles does it again! I love all her books, but I think this one is my favorite!!
πΎAll the Missing Pieces is an enthralling romantic suspense novel that tracks true crime podcaster Ridley Sawyer as she delves into the enigmas of Shady Cove, California and encounters Sheriff Colter Brooks in her quest to uncover the truth about her missing twin sister.
πΎThe dynamics between Ridley and Colter slowly grows into a professional partnership. As they work together to solve a mysterious cold case, a deeper emotional connection begins which adds an extra layer of intrigue to the suspenseful plot.
πΎWatching them navigate their own personal vulnerabilities while solving cases, created a compelling and heartfelt narrative. Itβs this blend of romance and suspense that really sets the story apart for me.
πΎAnd you can't write a review without mentioning Ridley's three-legged cat Tater.....I loved Tater's personality which added some fun to the story and made me laugh on more than one occasion. Most favorite cat ever!!π»
πΎCowles masterfully intertwines suspense, romance, and character growth, delivering an exhilarating and heartwarming story that is captivating from start to finish.
π§Narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York.
These two have a chemistry that enhances the emotional peaks and suspenseful scenes, making the story even more captivating.
Andi Arndt masterfully portrays Ridley's resolve and fragility, while Sebastian Yorkβs deep voice brings a solid and captivating essence to Colter.

Catherine Cowles is my GOAT when it comes to romantic suspense. She crafted an intriguing story, combining the elements of true crime and podcasts, making All the Missing Pieces a new favorite. This story follows Ridley Sawyer, a true crime podcaster and Colter "Colt" Brooks, the sheriff of Shady Cove, where Ridley is following a serial killer's trail.
The hate to love tension between Ridley and Colt was everything I could have hoped for, and I enjoyed those moments of them butting heads as Colt tried to stop Ridley from sniffing around his town. I loved how Ridley would not be deterred and how her sunshiny attitude slowly broke down Colt's grumpy walls, making her impossible to resist. The suspense had me on edge throughout the whole book, and in true Catherine Cowles fashion, just when I thought I had the culprit figured out, she shocked the heck out of me.
Sebastian York and Andi Arndt were perfect as Colt and Ridley. They did a wonderful job of portraying their tense dynamic, and Sebastian used his husky, deep voice perfectly for Colt's grumpy/sexy demeanor.
Everything about this book was excellent. From discovering the town to the fun cast of characters to the banter between Ridley and Colt. I highly recommend diving into this one for your romantic suspense fix.

This book brought the true crime junkie out of me BIG TIME!!! I already love listening to true crime podcasts so I was just super stoked about this one coming and it boy she did not disappoint at all! So if you love true crime, romantic suspense you definitely should pick this one up!

All the missing pieces is another romantic suspense from Catherine Cowles. Ridley is a crime podcaster on the hunt to solve the unsolved murders across the country. Her passion leads her to a small mountain town. Colt is the sheriff of Shady Cove who will do anything to keep his town and sister protected. Sparks fly as soon as these two meet and the hunt for answers will keep you glued to the pages till the very end.
The narrators nailed this book and brought the story to life.

All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles is a heck of a ride! The more of her romantic suspense stories I read, the more I try to figure out who the bad guy is going to be, but admittedly, this one surprised me! The twist at the end had me literally speechless and literally gasping in shock to the point my family asked me what was wrong! Haha.
I loved Colt and Ridley were a lot of fun, but also had their serious sides. I loved that they complimented each other in such a way that they really kept you on your toes. I also really enjoyed that they didn't really play games. They were honest with each other and kept it real.
I loved Shady Cove and hope there will be more stories in this lovely little town! The characters are so fun!

There is something Iβve come to realize about myself and my reading preferences. While I love nearly all the books I read within the romance genre, thereβs nothing quite like a romantic suspense story to leave me obsessed and captivated! And within that sub genre, there are a few authors that I put on the highest pedestal, one of those being Catherine Cowles, who in my eyes can do no wrong.
With All the Missing Pieces, her new release, she proves me correct once again, delivering a compelling, suspenseful, realistic portrayal of a small town sheriff and a true crime podcaster who meet β and through the story, experience a transformational relationship, from adversary to tentative friendship to so much more.
Ridley and Colt are just the latest in a long string of main characters of Catherineβs who definitely will stay with me. FMC Ridley is incredibly strong and determined and compassionate, especially given the trauma she has been through, which I wonβt spoil. At the same time, Colt is making his way in the world on a path that he hadnβt originally chosen, but that life circumstances drove him to choose. Together, they offer a remarkable story, complemented by a host of characters that I couldnβt help but fall in love with as well. Most notably, Emerson, who is Coltβs sister and so central to Ridleyβs purpose in this story. Her own strength and courage was commendable and a little heartbreaking at the same time. And of course Ridleyβs cat Taters, the real star of the show here. π

I donβt want to say more than that so as not to spoil this amazing story, but just know that Catherine has delivered another winner. I am so looking forward to more in the Shady Cove world!
Oh, and for what itβs worth, as always, she completely bamboozled me when it came to the villain in the story. I donβt know how she does it, but literally every time Iβm wrong. And literally every time, I love it. π

it was amazing one of my top reads of 2024
its the third arc i get from catherine
shes an angel super sweet
cant wait for more by her

I absolutely loved this story and devoured it as fast as I could. I took notes on every little thing, and of course every person was a suspect. ATMS was brilliantly written, and as a fan of true crime podcasts, I loved that this was centered around one. 'Sounds Like Serial' is definitely a podcast I would listen to were it real.
Ridley is a true crime podcaster looking for answers in her sisterβs disappearance and murder and ends up in Shady Grove. Enter Sheriff Colter Brooks who wants nothing to do with the attention she brings to his town, but when things start happening heβs forced to help out.
I was drawn in with the mystery and intrigue of this story. I loved every moment of my time with Ridley and Colt, and I canβt recommend All The Missing Pieces enough.

This was everything you love about a Catherine Cowles novel - small town suspense where everyone is suspect, protective heroes who fall hard for the FMCs, heroines who have subtle strength for enduring, and secondary cast of characters to love.
What I loved most is the True Crime Podcast angle. It added so much to what I already loved about her books. Through the couple, Cowles tackles the ideas of guilt and grief, and how those things shape you as you carry them through life. More than that, though, she showed that an HEA is possible, that you can carry them with you and honor those you love but holding them close in the big moments you will experience after their gone. Through Emerson, we got to see that the human spirit can endure and be happy, even if it looks different than what was planned when younger.
Itβs a must read, for sure and one of my fave Catherine Cowles books!

π BRAVOOOO, Catherine!! This is def in contention for my fav CC book! I absolutely loved the storyline, our two MCs and their back story, the furry friends, and the small town of Shady Cove and all of its characters! Ridley Sawyer and her lovingly vicious cat,Tater, roll into Shady Cove so Ridley can start investigating a case for the newest series on her podcast, Sounds Like Serial. This podcast is close to her heart because she lost her twin in an unsolved case and she wants to find closure for others, and maybe one day for herself. She soon meets the Sheriff, Colt Brooks, who happens to be a handsome and broody grump who continues to get in her way. After a very close call with the possible unsub, Ridley packs up and moves in with Colt and his sweet, old dog Bowser. The chemistry they had from the start amps up, and when Colt learns what Ridley has pieced together he dives in to help her with the case and vows to protect her. A little enemies with benefits by night and partners on the case by dayβ¦
Chaos and Law Man were absolute perfection together and their attempt at boundaries and rules was cute lol. I fell as fast for them as I did for Tater and her tooth hugs! Catherine really put together a great story with this one! I loved how all the townsfolk loved Ridley from the start, to Coltβs frustration haha! And obviously the villain was expertly revealed in true CC fashion! I only hope we get more in this town, maybe for Emersonβs HEA!
π§ Andi and Sebastian really sounded amazing in this audio! Andi is a top fav and she always slays, and this was no exception. She embodied Ridley and fully captured her personaβher strong will, independence, adventurous nature, sense of justice, and compassion. She of course nailed the emotional portions of the book! And Andi had a pretty amazing male voice as well! SebYo was absolute perfection as grumpy Colt! The casting here was just spot on. I truly canβt imagine anyone else playing this part! He nailed it!!

OMMIGOODNESS - a romantic suspense podcast trope? say no more. this was so special from beginning to end. ridley was the most perfect, fearless, sassy FMC and colt was frustrated with her right from the beginning. the audio was great for this one, and i could never thank @catherinecowlesauthor enough for this amazing package and ALCπ

Catherine will always be my grab for romantic suspense. She keeps me guessing. Just when I think I have something figured out, sheββs like haha, guess again! I love how in this book though she was bringing in the suspense in the form of a true crime podcaster, just a classic set up for the storyline to thrive off of.
Ridley and Colt are the perfect characters and everything you want in a grumpy x sunshine romance. The town and setting gives you goosebumps and times, and you are left on the edge of your seat thought reveal parts of the story.
As always, Catherine introduce side characters we can not WAIT to know more about, because she hooks us and never lets us go.

If Catherine Cowles writes it, Iβm going to read it AND Iβm going to love it π
All the Missing Pieces was yet another fantastic book, where the balance of suspense, spice and sweet moments was perfection π€
Ridley (FMC), the host of true crime podcast βSounds like Serialβ visits Shady Cove, wanting to speak with Emerson, the first victim of a suspected serial killer. Unfortunately for her, Colt (MMC), the Shady Cove sheriff and Emersonβs protective older brother has zero interest in allowing her to do so
*cue banter, eye rolls, growls and tension*
Ridley is a total badass. Driven by the loss of her sister she travels across America (in a Kombi) investigating cold cases with her trusty sidekick, her three-legged cat
Colt is the grumpy protective hero we all love to read about. Heβs carrying immense guilt around his sister abduction and doesnβt need Ridley, who heβs insanely attracted to of course!
Chuck in some lovable friends, kooky locals and plot twists and you have a great book π
I highly recommend you add All the Missing Pieces to your TBR now! I started with the ebook, then switched to audio - highly recommend the audio too, which features dual narration by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt
Thanks Catherine for the advanced copy π₯°

Ridley Sawyer host of true crime podcast Sounds Like Serial investigates cold cases in hopes of finding answers for families. She comes to Shady Cove for a new story that is personal to her. There she meets Colt, the grumpy town sheriff, and he is not happy with her poking around. They immediately get off on the wrong foot, but as much as they may want to hate each other they have a lot more in common than either of them initially thought and together they might finally be able to find the answers theyβve been searching for.
Okay this was SO GOOD!! I could not put it down! Once I started it I read it straight through because I just needed to know what would happen next! Catherine is so good at writing engaging captivating stories and this was no exception! I was hooked the entire time reading! One thing about Catherineβs books is she is truly amazing at twists and turns that you donβt expect, for this book she had me thinking the bad guy was anyone but who it ended up being lol. Jaw drop moment for sure! This book was thrilling and exciting while also being beautifully written tackling the complex emotions of grief and loss. It was all done so well!
I really loved Ridley she is so strong willed and full of life! Her personality is so fun and bright even after going through what she has endured. I loved her strength and determination so much! Colt was grumpy and kind of a jerk at first, but he is also fiercely protective of the people he cares about. As he got to open up more he was also very kind and caring to Ridley which I loved to see. They really made such a great pair! I also adored the furry friends! Tater and Bowser were too cute! Tater was incredible lol I love her and her sassy personality - tooth hugs and all!
βHavenβt you figured it out yet, Chaos? Youβve had me breaking all the rules since the day I met you.β
βWeβd be playing with fire.β βThen letβs watch it burn.β
βColt, you helped me find all the missing pieces. Even the ones I didnβt realize I needed.β
βIt shouldnβt have been possible for chaos to be so calming, but it was. She was.β
βHe understood the colors I painted my world with because he spoke the language of my pain.β
I listened to the audiobook and it was great I really enjoyed the narration both Andi Ardnt and Sebastian York were perfect for the characters! Thank you so much Catherine, Sourcebooks Casa, Netgalley, and Dreamscape Media for an ARC and ALC! π©΅

This just might be Catherine's best work to date! I was absolutely blown away by All The Missing Pieces.
Catherine yet again delivers an incredible plot and story arc with engaging twists and turns that made this book impossible to put down. Our MMC Colt was the grumpy sheriff and protector of my dreams while Ridley our FMC was strong, spunky, and beautifully complex. The two of them together were enemies to lovers perfection.
Ridley is in Shady Cove investigating a series of crimes for her podcast. She gets a rough start to her research when she has a less than ideal encounter with the local sheriff on her first day in town involving her van, Tater the three legged cat, and the town animal advocate. From there Ridley and Colt have to learn to trust each other if they want to unravel a series of crimes that impacts both of them.
I was on the edge of my seat through the entire story and the conclusion was absolutely perfect. If you have been wanting to read a book by Catherine All The Missing Pieces is the perfect place to start as one of her only stand alone stories!
