โ€œSometimes the last thing you expect is exactly what you need, the final missing piece. And sometimes it comes in the form of a towering, broody sheriff, determined to get in your way at every step.โ€

๐Ÿ’ฌ I absolutely love Ridley and Colt, as individuals, as crime solving partners, as friends with benefits, as so much more. This story was so sweet and heartwarming. Iโ€™m fairly new to the romance genre and it turns out that a sweet romance with sass, humor, wit, and a side of mystery just might be my favorite kind.
And I may have preordered the deluxe edition with pink sprayed edges ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿป

๐ŸŽง This audiobook was amazing! Anytime an audiobook has multiple narrators it gives the me a feeling of getting inside each POVโ€™s head and pulls me so much deeper into the story. Each of the narrators on this one did an excellent job capturing their characters and making them feel so real. I absolutely flew through this audiobook.

this is absolute perfection- give me all of the true crime and romantic suspense! this was everything that I wanted from a Catherine Cowles novel and more. Ridley's sister goes missing after a party on one of the last nights of college. years later she is living her best life in a VW van and hosting the Sounds Like Serial podcast. she travels all around the country and follows true crime cases. she finds herself in Shady Cove, California and on her new case when she meets Colt. the broody sheriff and also brother of the the girl who escaped from being kidnapped and the center of her new case. the banter and chemistry of this book is so stinking good. this one really kept me on my toes and I had a running list of who I thought the unsub would be. the whole town and the other characters were so good too. I loved seeing how much the town cared for everyone- community truly does bring everyone together. and of course it came down to the wire and wow the plot twists! I really think that everyone needs to go and read this one asap. what a work of art.

โ€œColt, you helped me find all the missing pieces. Even the ones I didnโ€™t realize I needed.โ€

Synopsis: Ridley, a true crime podcaster, travels to Shady Cove for her next series. She uses her platform to search for answers and while doing so, meets Colt, the sheriff of the small town of Shady Cove. While they butt heads, a little forced proximity leads to some major sparks in their quest to find the killer.

I loved how strong and independent Ridley was. Letโ€™s face it, while traveling alone at campsites sounds peaceful, Iโ€™d be too scared. Ridley was easy to love as evidenced by the friendships she made with everyone in Shady Grove. Colt, the grumpy sheriff, was protective of everyone, including Ridley. loved their chemistry so much!

As a twin myself, I canโ€™t imagine what Ridley experienced. I actually found myself getting quite emotional at the end of the book when she reached closure. The villain at the end was truly a surprise, but I loved suspecting everyone as I read the book.

This is my second book by Catherine Cowles and itโ€™s safe to say that Iโ€™m hooked! I love the mystery and suspense that is woven into her books. I listened to the audiobook while reading the ARC at the same time and I felt like I was truly immersed in the book.

All the Missing Pieces was another fantastic hit from Catherine. The premise, characters, suspense, and romance were beautifully explored and written.

Itโ€™s dual POVs of the main characters, Ridley and Colt, and there are some greats tropes like enemies to lovers, grumpy-sunshine, forced proximity, and a small-town romance.

I was able to listen to the audiobook at the same time and both narrators were fantastic. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did a fantastic job portraying all the emotions.

As a fan of true crime podcasts and romantic suspense, this book was the perfect blend of those. The premise was paced and written perfectly. I loved how fierce and strong the heroine was, her journey was beautiful and filled with so much determination.

The suspense aspect was interesting and I was guessing who the villain was the entire time. There were also some emotional and heartbreaking moments. All the characters were fantastic and I really hope the heroโ€™s sister gets her own book as well.

I will say though, the romance felt a bit rushed. Their shift from enemies to lovers felt a bit abrupt. But their connection, banter, and spice was still amazing. I loved how devoted they each were to finding justice. They also helped each other grow, which I thought was beautiful.

Overall, an amazing book with great characters and premise.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ALC in exchange for my honest review.

No one does cozy romantic suspense like Catherine Cowles! How does she so deftly write love stories so soft, tender and dreamy and juxtapose them so seamlessly with adrenaline filled โ€œwho dun itโ€ danger?! All the Missing Pieces is among my favorite sheโ€™s written- it captured my whole heart and had me glued to the pages. Itโ€™s effortlessly romantic, wonderfully swoony, and addictively page turning.

Like always, Catherine leaves us gobsmacked after a devastating opening chapter- but this one hit deeper than normal. A punch in the gut- one broken hearted heroine, and her missing sister. Our story picks up years later as Ridley, a very skilled and adored true crime podcaster makes her way to the most charming small town to dig into her next case. To outsiders, sheโ€™s a plucky and brilliant investigator who has an uncanny ability to both connect with people on a personal level and uncover those โ€œmissing piecesโ€ that have left crimes unsolved. But there are deeper missing pieces Ridley is trying to put back together- the ones in her broken heart, as she seeks out murders and disappearances that are similar to that of her missing sister. Thatโ€™s the one mystery sheโ€™s never been able to solve. She knew getting the trust of the victim of the attempted kidnapping thatโ€™s the focus of her latest episode might be challenging, but she did not expect the formidable resistance she gets from the victimโ€™s brother, the mercurial, no nonsense town sheriff Colterโ€ฆ.who, like Ridley, has his own baggage relates to his sisterโ€™s trauma. But as these two butt heads, the tension AND the plot thickensโ€ฆ.because suddenly someone is after Ridley too.

Gah the emotions in this one- I felt the weight of them so intensely in this story. From beautiful love to deep heartbreak, Catherine serves up a truly emotionally affecting love story, one balanced with a truly gripping murder mystery. The small town backdrop as always adds plenty of charm and charisma, the chemistry is somehow both intense yet gentle, and the podcast framework adds some great dramatic flair. Add in my favorite microtrope of a sassy cat (I LOVE TATER, and CC always gives me the best animal co-stars) and this was basically my catnip (pun intended). I adored both Ridley and Colter, and their emotional connection over the shared trauma of what happened with this sisters makes for some great romantic tension and catalyzes a really emotively rich connection. And the mystery?! Yup, this time I was way off- the big twist and big baddie reveal had my jaw dropping. The suspense plot has a bit of a darker menace in this one, and it really amplified the stakes (and my adrenaline).

Truly, this is about so many missing pieces. The puzzle of trying to uncover just what happened to Ridleyโ€™s sister and where she is, just who tried to harm Colterโ€™s sister all those years ago, most of all, putting back together the shards of both Ridley and Colterโ€™s hearts cause by what happened to both of their sisters and their intensely weighty guilt. Both seem at odds, but when the truth comes out itโ€™s clear their share the same north star- both have spent much of their adult lives trying to make right what they blame themselves for. Trying to help others, protect others, and most of all, do right by their sisters. The pain theyโ€™ve buried- one that Ridley addresses with stoic fixation and one that Colter buries in his icy detachment- has prevented them from being able to put their own pieces back together. And, in many ways, from them moving on. And itโ€™s so sweet and fulfilling ot see them find the courage in each other- to address whatโ€™s broken with in them, and to start to heal those piecesโ€ฆeven when that means confronting painful memories and trauma.

And the audio?! As always fan-freaking-tastic. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are a dream team. Andi always delivers so many emotional layers to every performance, and Sebastian had all the tortured grittiness of Colter with all of his swoony protective dreaminess too. I ravenously consumed this one- so obsessed with this story!

Catherine Cowles has officially become an auto read author. This is the perfect book for anyone that loves listening to podcasts ESPECIALLY true crime. I mean who doesnโ€™t love a true crime podcast? I was immediately hooked and loved listening to this as it was dual POV and got a narrator for both main characters. Ridley and Colt are connected together through similar cases that involved both of their sisters and theyโ€™re determined to figure it out.

Ridley is a true crime podcaster who focuses on missing persons cold cases. Sometimes these podcasters get a bad rep, but I loved how caring and genuine Ridley was. She truly just wanted to help families find closure and achieve peace. Including her own family.ย

The cases sheโ€™s been working on lead her to Shady Cove, where she meets the grumpy Sheriff Colt. Right off the bat, they clash a little. Lawman vs Chaos. They have to work together to try to solve the case. I gasped out loud a couple of times, and I definitely did not guess the unsub.ย

The love between Ridley and Colt was natural. They balanced each other out. I also really liked the found family Ridley gained in the small town. All those people were showing up and ready to fight for her. Oh, and I loved all the animal characters in this one! Especially Tater and his toothhugs ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚

Iโ€™m so excited that this book is out in the world! Itโ€™s no secret, Iโ€™m a huge Catherine Cowles fan. I love romantic suspense and she can craft a story like no other!

All The Missing Pieces might just be my favorite CC book so far! The chemistry and banter between Colt and Ridley(aka Lawman & Chaos) was absolute perfection from the start. Iโ€™m always amazed at how Catherine hooks a reader into her charactersโ€™ lives from the very beginning. From prologue to epilogue, you are taken on the best journey of grief, resilience, growth, healing and love that you never want to end!
As always, my mind was blown in the best way with the twists and turns in this book! I absolutely loved the true-crime aspect. I thought I had it all figured out and was way off the mark! I live for plot twists like that!
I canโ€™t recommend this book enough! All The Missing Pieces will forever have my heart and Iโ€™m really sad that itโ€™s a stand-alone. I need to be transported back to Shady Cove!

๐ŸŽงI loved the audiobook of All The Missing Pieces! Andi Arendt and Sebastian York did an amazing job on the narration. These two took an already captivating story and brought the characters, emotions and to suspense to life in a magical way. If you are an audiobook junkie like me, you will love this one!

๐ŸงฉAVAILABLE NOW!

This book has officially entered my very small collection of 6 STAR READS!!! ๐Ÿ˜ if you follow me, you know that I absolutely adore Catherine Cowles and her work so I wanted to cry happy tears when Team Catherine selected me for this ARC! hehe

๐ŸงฉRidley, our FMC, has her own true crime podcast where she takes on cold cases while traveling the country in, Bessie, her home on wheels. ๐ŸšŒ everything changed for Ridley the night that her twin sister disappeared, creating a desire in her heart to try her best to bring other families closure even though she couldnโ€™t get her own.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธShe takes on a certain cold case that tugs at her heart, leading her to the town where she meets none other than Colt, the town sheriff. ๐Ÿคญ tall, handsome and a bit weary of Ridley and her motives, Colt takes a bit of warming up to her for sure!

๐ŸงฉThis story packs a punch like no other! With an intriguing plot that brings all the suspense and mystery, a budding romance that turns steamy๐Ÿ”ฅ and plot twists that will leave you stunned, this book has it ALL!! Also special shoutout to Tater, my favorite furry companion that Iโ€™ve ever read about! ๐Ÿฑ reading scenes with her had me laughing the hardest ever (especially scenes with her and Colt!)

I loved All The Missing Pieces. It has everything I want in a small town romantic suspense storyโ€ฆ All the small town feels, heart-stopping, page-turning suspense blended with oh so swoony romance and plenty of heat.
Ridley Bennettโ€™s true crime podcast takes her to Shady Cove where she butts heads with Colter brooks, the local sheriff.
I listened to most of this on audiobook and loved the narration. Both narrators were wonderful and really helped bring the story to life for me!
-5 Stars!-

Ridley and colter complimented each other so well and their connection was July beautiful! Now can we talk about that plot twist!!! I had a suspect in mind, but nooo, Ms. Cowles said โ€œhold my glassesโ€ and left me shocked to the core! Do not question it, run and grab this book, a must read!

The description of this book reads like a thriller. Riley is a determined podcaster solving true crimes after the disappearance of her twin sister the night before their college graduation. As she tracks down the woman who may have been that monsterโ€™s first victim, she has to face off with the local Sheriff. Now, I am not the one for a thriller, but I want to me. Perhaps I have just needed a thriller mashed up with a romance.

There are plenty of twists and turns and while there are some clues to the identity of the perpetrator, it is not extremely obvious. The romance is hot and heavy. The side characters are delightful and I would love to visit this town.

I really enjoyed this book! I would have preferred if the romance drew out just a bit more but overall 4.5/5 stars! The narration is excellent with a super deep voice for the hunky Sheriff.

Thank you to Net Galley and Dreamscape Media for the DLC! All opinions are my own.

I LOVED this. Sebastian York and Andi Arndt did a phenomenal job with the narration!

All the Missing Pieces follows Ridley Sawyer who travels the country covering cold cases for her true crime podcast and Colter Brooks, the sheriff of Shady Cove. The last thing Colter wants is a podcaster in town stirring up trouble but Ridley is determined not to let him get in her way. Not only is this the first case sheโ€™s covered where the victim survived, but she believes itโ€™s linked to her twin sisters disappearance. Colter may not want her in his town but the second sheโ€™s in danger, he steps in to help.

Whew. Colt and Ridley are PERFECT together, the enemies-to-lovers vibes were immaculate. I was cracking up during their first meeting. I loved how they gradually grew closer, especially after Ridley is attacked and Colt insists she stay with him. The tension and chemistry between them was SO GOOD.

The suspense had me on the edge of my seat and once again, Catherine surprised me with the reveal. There were a few times where I thought, this is the serial killer but NOPE! I was wrong.

I know this is supposed to be a standalone but Iโ€™m hoping this isnโ€™t the last weโ€™ll see of Shady Cove.
This is a MUST READ if you enjoy romantic suspense and true crime podcasts!

This was so good! The audio performed by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt in duet style. Itโ€™s definitely top notch with these two! The pacing and tone, and the banter were delivered with such finesse. I would give the narration 100 stars if I could.

Iโ€™ve read almost all of Catherine Cowlesโ€™s books and Iโ€™ve loved them all. I love the small town, romantic suspense she writes but this one was exceptionally done well. The story started off tragic with the missing twin but from there the hilarious meet cute and meeting the townsfolk and the cute pets, I couldnโ€™t put this book down. Not to mention the heroine, Ridley is a podcaster who travels the country trying to help solve cold cases. A very interesting career IMO. The grumpy town sheriff, Colt didnโ€™t stay grumpy for too long once Ridley got into town. I love the sparks these two crested on the pages. The villain (I didnโ€™t guess who tho til the end) was bad but got what he deserved in the end.

All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles is a gripping & astounding small town romance story involving a true crime podcaster coming to investigate an old cold case only to meet some resistance from the grumpy sheriff of said small town. I have to keep things vague because I donโ€™t want to give away any spoilers but suffice to say, the journey this story takes is riveting, heartwrenching & healing all in one!

This is a standalone read, perfect for fellow fans or the perfect starting point for those wanting to read this author!

All the Missing Pieces continues to showcase why Catherine Cowles is one of the pillars of the romantic suspense genre. I will read & be enraptured by anything she writes!

All the Missing Pieces Is great for those looking to readโ€ฆ

The combination of mystery plus romance is one of the greatest treats & when you combine that with the best small town vibes, a badass heroine, a swoony hero, humor, spice & intrigue, it creates an unputdownable story. Catherine Cowles continually writes fantastic mysterious suspense that will leave the reader guessing.

I also got to listen to the audiobook of this one & I loved it! I am always grateful for dual point of view in books & Iโ€™m super grateful for the two narrators bringing these characters to life. They were a delight to listen to! I listened at 2x & it was perfect for my ADHD brain.
