This book was really good. I loved how the relationship between Jersey and Zay developed. I loved reading a story about Black people in a band. Jersey had a lot going on in her life and was not open to love but Zay was the perfect person for her. I would just recommend this story.

Not growing up in the best environment, Jersey built a wall of protection around herself. Her alcoholic father is very controlling and has a tight lease on her. She lets her guard down slowly when she meets Isaiah "Zay". Zay's love for her was consistent and patient which allows Jersey to experience a love she could have never imagined. The chemistry between Jersey and Zay is palpable. Great romance, very well written.
