There is a lot of information in this book. It can be overwhelming when it is this packed full. The illustrations make it less overwhelming though. It is well organized and interesting.

This is an intriguing book with eyecatching illustrations that is sure to inspire a love of nature among its young readers. The variety of coverage is wonderful and some of the facts very unusual and interesting! This would suit any intellectually curious child. I really appreciated the geological timeline at the end which is a really useful reference tool even for adults. A warning - I had to skip the page with spiders which was a bit too vivid for arachnophobic me… can imagine kids who love creepy crawlies adoring that page though haha!
