My children and I read this book and like the story. It's about two monkeys that are friends. Both monkeys do everything together.

This was a fun story to read. It has action and adventure throughout. The illustrations were very colorful.

It brings me back to my childhood. It was cute. Love the art work. If I had kids I would read it to them.

A wonderful, brightly colored book about friendship [shown and told by two adorable monkeys] and how much fun you can have and how you can also help each other when one is in need. Told in a simply but powerful way, this was a really fun little read.

Littles will love this book [and those fun monkeys] and I suspect it will be one that they both ask for, and will reach for to look at themselves, over and over again.

Very lively rhyme of two monkeys in the jungle together, proving to each other that they are the best company – in a musical mood, when exploring, when hiding from the rain or at risk of death. Nicely cartoonish visuals add to the appeal, and this could have had a wonderful mark if the rhythm and sentence length had been sustained. The rhymes themselves are great and add to the telling/recitation here, but no couplet is the same length or beat pattern as the next one. And while you could argue there is a verse/chorus thing going on, it doesn't fit perfectly. A high four stars anyway, mind.

"Friends Forever" takes us on a fun adventure in the jungle alongside two little monkeys. As they play, share, and help each other, children discover the true meaning of friendship.
This book is suited for young children, with a good amount of repetition and rhymes. The artwork is cute with a dominant, vibrant and distinctive green. Overall, it is a good and heartwarming read for toddlers !

First off, I LOVE monkeys -- in fact, non-human primates in general so I am clearly partial to this sweet story. I love the art work and adore the story. There is rhyming which is always a plus in a children's book! I would definitely purchase this for a child.

Friends Forever is a picture book about 2 monkey friends and their adventures, including how they're there for each other. It's brief and in rhyme, which lends itself to early readers. It could also be a good bedtime story for younger children. The illustrations are simple, but cute.

Meet the Monkey Duo

These two little monkeys were cute together. The story took you through the motions and would draw a child in.

The illustration was primarily comprised of green, green-yellow, white and black hued colors. It was dimensionally placed and worked but the colors didn’t stray beyond that for the most part.

I think this book would make a complimentary addition to a school library or classroom storytime set.

This story makes you feel good and shows the importance of friendship. The contrasting illustrations make this perfect for babies and young readers.

This would be great for younger kids especially - cute illustrations, rhyming text and the theme of friendship. Read this to my 3yo and I think he enjoyed it (especially the monkeys!). 5 stars if read to the right audience :):)

This is a short story about 2 little monkeys. It would be best for younger toddlers who enjoy pictures and don't crave much of a plot.

Another hit with my toddler! One of her friends calls her Monkey- so she kept pointing and yelling “monkey.” This book is perfect for her! She had me start it over and read it to her multiple times!

This is such a cute story! I read it with my 2 year old granddaughter and she loves it!! She acts out all the things the monkeys are doing as we read each page. Teaches us what friends are and how to be a true friend

I loved this book! Friends Forever by Mary Murphy is engaging and fun. As a teacher, I can use this book in so many ways! Friends Forever is perfect for classroom culture and team building. I also can meet state teaching standards by using this book to help students identify words that rhyme. The beginning of a new school year is also a great time to read this book to kindergarten students followed by a discussion about how they can work together to keep each other safe. I’d like to get the hard copy when it comes out because I can see students choosing to read this book multiple times.

Fun, cute book for small kids. I took a star off because it would be a great board book but the story is a bit long for the content.
