I don't know how to feel knowing this was the last book in the series! It makes me so sad to know there's not another book coming, but I know Elle said she isn't done with the Briar U world yet, so I'm very excited to see what she has in store for us!

With that said, I loved Charlie! I appreciate the Korean American representation! I don't read a ton of books that have Korean rep, and it's a huge part of my identity, so to hear Charlie is Korean really made my heart sore. To be honest with you, this book had me at sugar puff (IYKYK)! I loved how their relationship came together. Not only was Charlie's character amazing, but I loved how fun and lighthearted Beckett is. He really balances out the trio! And Will is the hot intellectual that I love appeals to her nerdy, smart side! If you like hockey romances you will love this series!

The first half of this book was really slow for me and I almost DNF'd it. It is a super spicy why choose. I felt like the sexual experience these two college age boys had was a bit unrealistic.
Halfway through it did pick up for me. The family lives of all three was what kept me going. I'm usually a big fan of Elle Kennedy books but this was my least favorite.
I'm almost 50 so maybe it would just be more suited to a younger demographic๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I love Elle Kennedy but this book was not my favorite. The pacing felt super off & to be honest, it felt waaaaay too long. The romance just wasnโ€™t giving & honestly lacked chemistry. The characters were okay, but not my favorite sheโ€™s ever written though. Overall this was a huge miss for me & Iโ€™m a bit disappointed this is how the series wraps up.

I loved the first two books in this series! When I started reading THE CHARLIE METHOD, I had no idea about the dynamic between the main characters' love stories. I simply went into it blind because I loved the previous two and love the author.

This one was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I was more than willing to give it a chance. What didn't work for me was that the majority of the book was either the characters having sex or them talking about having sex. There were some interesting side storylines that I wanted more from -- especially with a book this long.

This ended up being my least favorite in the series.

tw: I cried a lot during this book so bare with me

there are a lot of things in books that are under represented in my opinion. and international adoption is one of them. itโ€™s a very sensitive topic and should be handed with care. & I can say that charlotte was. although I am not a Korean adoptee like her, I am a Chinese adoptee. it was like you took a peak into my own thought and feelings. there were so many internal thoughts and fears Iโ€™ve had myself that you verbalized through her story. there are few books that I have read that in my own option have done it in a realistic wayโ€” and you did just that. I completely saw myself in charlotte and it truly let me see that those fears of self worth and worry are okay. they are normal. and although they can be terrifying to haveโ€” the people that really care for and love us do not have those same thoughts. they love us and care for us for who we are. those fears so so validโ€” but it was so healing to see how gentle and accepting you wrote the responses of her family. I think every adoptee has or has had those fears. and seeing the way you wrote charlotteโ€™s parents were exactly what I needed them to be. the vulnerability and authenticity you had in this story was so raw and real. I cannot thank you enough for making me feel SO seen in that way. & I praise you in the highest regular are taking the time to have sensitivity readers. I myself have sensitivity read for adoption in books and it makes the differenceโ€” & I can tell with this one. I have loved this series hardโ€” and this one really seals the deal for me. I know I had a lot to say about Charlotte and my shared lived experience with herโ€” but I also loved the character growth you gave not only with her, but Will and Beckett. I loved their dynamic and I was completely drawn in the entire time. their story made me smile, laugh, cry, and blush a lot. I loved this book to the core & this will forever have a special place in my own heart. ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ˜ญ

I just finished reading this spicy romance and absolutely adored it! Elle Kennedy continues to crush it with her hockey romances. I was rooting so hard for these characters to find a way to make this unconventional relationship work.

This is technically the third book in her Campus Diaries series and each one has been amazing in itโ€™s own way. Plus, these can easily be read as standalones so you can jump right in. Charlotte is a stick straight overachiever with a secret wild side. Almost no one knows about her late night hookups, until she matches with not one but two fellow Briar students on an app. These boys like to share and Charlie canโ€™t deny sheโ€™s intrigued by the idea of two men worshipping her at the same time.

When she finally actually meets them in person, the two hockey players and Charlie sense an immediate connection. Normally theyโ€™d all keep it strictly sexual with no feelings, but thereโ€™s something special about this threesome. Except each of them have their own reasons that it cannot be public.

Elle once again brings us to the Campus Diaries series and leaves no page unturned with the romance between - Charlie, Will and Beckett! I was in love with Will Larson from the get go in book one but the way Elle really brought all three of them to life in this book just hit home so much more for his story. I appreciated how she tackled the topics of insecurity and wanting to please others but what blew me away was the friendship that Beckett and Will had.

This book was an MFM romance but all three of them form a dynamic that warms the heart. Beckett and Willโ€™s hilarious friendship is only elevated with Charlie thrown into the mix and I was absolutely gigging out loud at certain parts of this book. Elle also brings us all the heat and provides us with steamy and dirty DMs between the three of them throughout. These DMs were some of my favorite parts because we really saw the inside of each MC during the exchanges - an wowza did they make me sweat!

Rating: 100+; Elle Kennedy gave us the most anticipated read and ๐•‹๐•™๐•– โ„‚๐•™๐•’๐•ฃ๐•๐•š๐•– ๐•„๐•–๐•ฅ๐•™๐• ๐•• was absolutely everything I wanted!

The Charlie Method follows Charlotte Kingston, Will Larsen, and Beckett Dunne as they try to navigate their unconventional relationship while also dealing with their own personal problems.

I absolutely loved Charlotteโ€™s portrayal of trying to align who she actually is with who she believes everyone wants her to be or how she believes she ought to be. Her character depth was my favorite part of the story.

The only thing I wish had been different was any exploration into Will and Beckett together. It seemed the idea was floated early on with Willโ€™s mention that he โ€œwouldnโ€™t push Beckettโ€™s hand awayโ€ but then itโ€™s never actually explored. Just a small disappointment because I was definitely rooting for it.

Overall, a great addition to the Elle Kennedy universe.

I received an ARC/ALC for an honest review.

I'm so sad this is the last book in the Campus Diaries series. The second generation. I'll NEVER get tired of the Briar U world!! โฃ

You guys know me, I don't read MFM, but because it's THE Elle, I have to read it. I'm not surprised that I love and enjoyed it so much. Elle is the QUEEN of Hockey. โฃ
โฃ
Charlie, Will, and Beckett are totally HOT together!! I'll say Elle's hottest book to date. They each have their own struggles and issues, but when they're together, they all just click. I can relate to Charlie so much. I'm totally a people pleaser and don't want to disappoint anyone, especially my family. So I totally understand why she did what she did when it comes to keeping things to herself. Between Will and Beckett, I'm leaning towards Beckett more. Lol I love a broken hero, and he was broken. Will has daddy issues. Lol

The ALC though. OMG!!! I love that it was in duet form. It was so well done. Totally obsessed. They brought out each characters to life!

Seeing the other characters is a bonus. I love this world so much. I wish I can live in it.

Happy Pub Day to Elle Kennedyโ€™s The Charlie Method (Campus Diaries #3). This book is the last in the series filled with a spicy MFM romance storyline that starts from a response to an interesting app profile. Charlotte (Charlie) is the perfect studious sorority sister with a secret that must remain hidden. Will & Beckett are teammates, friends and roommates that arenโ€™t afraid of sharing but when that involves Charlie and rumors from her ex. These two will become super protective. Iโ€™m truly sad to see the series and but glad there was #hea. This will definitely be a #motherdaughterbookclub pick.

Iโ€™ve only read a couple Elle Kennedy books, but I enjoy her writing and love a hockey romance!

This was my first read with a MFM romance, which isnโ€™t my go to or comfort zone, but I enjoyed the main characters and seeing the journey our FMC Charlie went on! Sheโ€™s a nerd, STEM major, a perfectionist, who is also curious about her background since she was adopted. I think her character has a lot of relatable qualities.

The hockey boys are also fun in this, as well as their crazy teammates. I havenโ€™t read the prior Briar U series featuring the parents generation, but the โ€œDad Chatโ€ really made me want to!!

This book was focused on Charlieโ€™s journey and less on the hockey sports aspect. I wasnโ€™t expecting the ending, how the main characters ended up. I was curious if there were a lot of opinions on what readers thought would be in store for these 3 in the future?!

I hope to read more Elle Kennedy hockey stories in the future!!

โœจ Addicted. Iโ€™m addicted to this girl. Itโ€™s like she knows exactly how to break me down piece by piece. And it isnโ€™t just the physical connection.โœจ

I was sooo excited to start this book and oh my goodness did I love it!! I really loved Will and Beckett in the previous books. They were great friends and were kinky in bed with their threesomes. Enter in Charlotte Kingston, the good girl whoโ€™s always been โ€œperfect.โ€ But sheโ€™s hiding a secret side of herself and Will and Beck get her to finally reveal that side.

โœจ โ€œYou deserve to feel alive. To not hide who you are. Youโ€™re incredible, Charlie, and you shouldnโ€™t have to keep that hidden.โ€โœจ

I loved these 3 together. This book was spicy and fun and also a little messy. Itโ€™s hard living out of the norm and the struggles are real. Iโ€™m sad the series is over and Iโ€™d totally be ready for more if there was more books about any of the side characters. ๐Ÿ˜‚

This book was so good! It has been a while since I've read a good sports romance, but I loved the combination of hockey in a college setting! This book in the Campus Diaries series focuses on college senior Charlotte Kingston, who is basically living "two lives." She's a sorority girl by day and a daredevil at night who enjoys chatting on dating apps.

I really liked the depth and character development in this book. Charlotte ("Charlie"), Will, and Beckett, all felt like unique characters going through their own personal journeys. I also liked all of the humor because it really lightened the mood in the more emotional sections of the book.

The adoption aspect of the book was also very interesting, and I admired Charlie so much for coming to terms with her feelings around being adopted and having a more unique family unit. I hope this Campus Diaries series continues because every novel in it is top notch.

Thank you very much to Bloom Books, Netgalley, and GetRedPR for the ARC! All opinions are my own.

The Graham Effect is an all time favorite and Iโ€™ve been loving this series! We met Will and Beckett in the first two books and I was excited to see how their story progressed. I think this was my first MFM story and I appreciated how their HEA was handled. I was always rooting for Charlotte, Beckett and Will.โฃ
โฃ
I just loved Charlotte/Charlie. She is a leader on her sorority and a student in STEM plus she is searching for her biological family. She has so much going on and she handles it all so well. She is nervous about pursuing a relationship with the guys because of how sheโ€™ll be perceived but canโ€™t help her feelings. โฃ
โฃ
This was definitely steamy and it also smiling and laughing out loud (the dadโ€™s text exchange.)โฃ
โฃ
Iโ€™m so sad to see this series end, but I canโ€™t wait the see what we get to read next from Elle Kennedy!

I really enjoyed this one. Yes, we got our throuple with Charlie, Beck, and Will, and yes we had our steamy scenes but I did really love that the story had a main plot of the three of them finding their way, what made them happy, as they were leaving college.

I think Elle Kennedy really encapsulated the fear, the excitement, the nervousness of leaving the safety of what you know and venturing out into the world. It paralleled nicely with them finding themselves as a throuple, too.

And, I'm sorry, but the DadChats will always be a highlight for me!

I've been waiting for this ever since I finished The Dixon Rule. If you haven't started the Campus Diaries series, don't miss out on the other 2 books. This one is about Charlie, Beck and Will. First of all, this book was steamy with a capital S. The feelings the three shared really felt genuine to me. Sometimes these types of scenarios can seem kind of tacky, but this one was really well written. Elle's characters are always so lovable. There are so many plotlines going on that you will never get bored. They all have their own family issues, school issues and then trying to navigate their time together. I had so many laughs with all the hockey guys and the Dad Chat. There are some really emotional issues, navigating life while adopted and always trying to live up to everyone else's expectations. I also listened to this on audio and the narration was fantastic. Each character had their own narrator and it was done in a "multi cast style" where they continually read their own characters. They really brought the characters to life and the accents were so good.

๐Ÿ’™ The Charlie Method is out TODAY and is a satisfying conclusion to the Campus Diaries series.

๐Ÿ’“ Charlie is a college senior gearing up to apply to medical school. She's happiest in the lab or hitting the gas pedal on fancy cars at the track. She's under a lot of pressure by her adopted family and others to get into the best school and make a name for herself. Yet, she feels she's missing a piece of her and wants to find out if she has any siblings. Once finding she has a brother, she yearns to know everything about him.

๐Ÿ’“ She also wants to know everything there is to know about the two shirtless faceless men who she's been chatting with online. Little does she know, they're her lab partner and lecture hall nemesis....and they both want her. Together.

๐Ÿ’™ Will and Beckett are graduating hockey players who share women for fun. No strings attached, especially NO relationships. But once they start seeing Charlie, they can't resist wanting more.....but is that in their futures when they can't be sure of what they truly want for themselves?

๐Ÿ’“ Elle Kennedy's newest has some of her spiciest scenes yet while also having a female MC that everyone wants to root for. Her relationship with herself is the main focus of this novel with Beckett and Will hanging around. I felt the little jabs Will made towards his dad were fitting based on todays situation. Capping in at a little over 500 pages, this is a novel for those who love Elle's books and are rooting for hockey + spice + an HEA.

Elle is the queen of college hockey romance. Every single one is perfect, and yet, somehow she outdid herself with this one. Charlie is such a relatable female lead. Sheโ€™s an anxious perfectionist who cares what other people think and who just wants to make her parents happy. But all of her plans, her public image, and everything she thought she wanted get tossed aside when she meets Will and Beckett. Elle somehow wrote two very different men who are both incredibly attractive, attentive, complex, and absolutely obsessed with Charlie. Itโ€™s impossible to choose between them.
๐Ÿ’
This book had such a great blend of romance and spice, complicated family dynamics, emotional baggage, self discovery, and humor. The historical fanfiction was hilarious and I desperately need the entirety of the Dad Chat text messages. Do yourself a favor and read this series (and if you havenโ€™t read it yet, start with her Off Campus series).

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! My favorite of the series so far!

When I started this, I had no clue how the dynamics of this book were going to go. An intentional love triangle without jealousy or a high amount of drama is a new concept for me to read and it made for a relatively relaxing reading experience. I really enjoyed how Elle wrote the characters. The character building brought them off the page and were so easy to picture..they felt incredibly real. Each one had their own issues going on, but they navigated them well and though there was a lot going on at times, it all combined with the main plot in a satisfactory way.

I love a good sports romance and Elle made sure to include multiple hockey scenes to truly add the sport into the story. This isnโ€™t just a romance where some characters happen to play a sport. It is integrated into the story.

As far as the spicy aspect, Elle never disappoints. Itโ€™s very believable and the characters are all respectful of each other. Itโ€™s not overwhelming and there is plenty of plot..this isnโ€™t smut, though the scenes are descriptive.

Another Elle Kennedy romance to add to my forever shelf! Highly recommend this!
