If I’m being honest, I typically never gravitate to this trope. But I will read anything Elle puts out! I have to say, I am so glad I did. I adored Charlotte as the MFC! Elle can write characters with so much depth. I was completely invested in Charlotte’s journey..from struggling with her inner turmoil of achieving perfectionism while also wanting to be her authentic self; to learning about her past; & preparing for her future. I ate it up! Will & Beckett delivered on the romance. Beckett ended up being my favorite between the two MMCs! Also, I always love the humor Elle sprinkles throughout her novels! She always gets me to laugh out loud & kick my feet. It is just inevitable.
I have adored the entire Campus Diaries series! Elle will always go down as one of my favorite authors. She is an auto buy for me every dang time!

I love the way Elle chose to write this story bringing each character's backstory to light. I could feel the emotions lurking within Beckett, Will, and Charlie struggling to break free, and I liked the way they were discovering their individual paths yet they also completed each other. The chemistry, the sparks, and the spice are all there, but what I really enjoyed was the way they way they were before, and the open discussions and control the guys gave to Charlie in starting their relationship after. Beautifully written and taking on some emotional topics this isn't just a romance, but so much more. I loved the audiobook, the narrators are fantastic, and I highly recommend listening to this love story.

The Charlie Method was one of my most anticipated reads for 2025. More Will and Beckett? Yes, please! This story had me locked in and I genuinely couldn't put it down. Charlie is a college senior living a double life. She is a perfectionist who is academically competitive and a dedicated sorority member. She is also a girl who likes to have fun and take risks. While using a dating app, Charlie unknowingly connects with Will and Beckect, two Briar U hockey players. Everyone is just looking to have some fun, but end up with much more.
I loved this trio! I didn't have falling madly in love with a throuple on my bingo card, but here we are. I adored Charlie, Will, and Beckett and I'm honestly happy she was not forced to choose. How can one choose between Will with his kind heart and calming nature, and Beckett, our thoughtful and loveable Aussie? It's impossible! Their story had me laughing, tearing up, and kicking my feet. I loved the dynamics of their relationship and how they all take care of each other. They had such amazing chemistry. The spice was SPICIN' in this book! The scenes with two of them together were hot, but the scenes with the three of them were HOT. She is theirs, and they are hers. YES, INDEED.
I love a good, steamy romance story, but I will absolutely eat up a love story with character depth, growth, and emotional subplots. Elle Kennedy does a great job weaving in Charlie being an adoptee struggling a bit with her identity, while also searching for her biological family, Will dealing with forced expectations and the strained relationship between him and his politician father, and Beckett's shocking heartbreak and the impact it has had on how he approaches commitment.
There is so much to love about this book. The fan fiction, dad chat, and the scenes with Coach Hollis had me laughing out loud. I also love how supportive Charlie's family and friends were. The Charlie Method is a bingeable read with a great blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth with multi-faceted characters and an engaging plot. Highly recommended!
Narration:
Persephone Lee, Teddy Hamilton, and Sean Masters nailed this one. I had so much fun listening to this audiobook. Their performances were super entertaining, and I loved having all the characters' points of view. I could honestly listen to their voices all day. Persephone Lee fully embodied Charlie and made me fall for her from the start. I could feel the push and push as she navigated finding a balance between her desires and her worries about how the outside world saw her. Teddy Hamilton is the perfect voice for Will. There truly is nobody else who could have voiced this charming, calming, warm, and supportive character. Sean...oh, Sean. His Australian accent is perfection. Sean really brought the emotional vulnerability, bedroom dominance, and ultimately Beckett's hopefulness to life. Persephone, Teddy, and Sean's phenomenal performances create an amazing immersive listening experience.

i loved being back in the briar u world! this was so fun and i just adored charlie! she is witty and funny and just wants to figure out who she is. and the way that will and beck are just the sweetest. the found family aspect in all of elle's books are some of my favorites.

This was such an unexpected story in all the best of ways. Yes, it’s an MFM spicy, sports romance, but it also has 3 complex characters that are navigating their senior year of college and a variety of family issues. Charlie is a fantastic character with so many layers and I adored she was a girl in STEM. Her character evolution throughout the story was so satisfying – seeing her change from an uptight people pleaser with a fear of not being perfect to standing up for herself and owning who she is. It was also amazing how the boys gained her trust and she showed them all the different facets of her life, especially the parts she kept hidden and her deepest secrets. I also adored how she gave the guys a chance, got to know them beyond just their status as hockey players, and ultimately embraced their unconventional dynamic.
While I initially was shocked at how long the book is, it was a read that engrossed me and kept me super engaged, and didn’t have tons of unnecessary fluff. This book manages to tackle some very heavy topics for all 3 main characters – adoption, dysfunctional parents, a hurtful past – but also still remains a light and fun read. I couldn’t get enough of the dad chat references and the hockey team. Charlies’ sorority was a little over the top, but I adored her relationship with Blake and her bestie. It was pretty spicy, but not overly so toeing the line perfectly for the genre. This hockey, college, MFM romance was an unexpected and fantastic read in the series. It made me laugh out loud and also yell to the void when the story took an unexpected turn.

Thank you to Get Red PR Books & Sourcebooks Bloom Books for the early review copy of one of my most anticipated books!!
The Charlie Method is the final book in the Campus Diaries series by Elle Kennedy, a second-generation spinoff of the popular Off Campus & Briar U series. This book follows Briar U senior, Charlotte "Charlie" Kingston, as she navigates what she calls her "double life": by day, she's a proper, put together sorority girl studying biochemical engineering who keeps her head down and stays out of trouble. By night, she's Charlie; a bold and brave risk-taker who drives fast cars and flirts with boys on dating apps.
When this dating app introduces her to Will Larsen and Beckett Dunne, her world is turned upside down. Will & Beckett are on the Briar U hockey team, and the two best friends share more than just the house they live in...
Will & Beckett's personalities balance out perfectly, and they both bring out the best in Charlie and help her to embrace the things about herself that she has trouble accepting. They are kind, funny, loving, and sexy as hell with their dirty talk and banter, as is the norm for Kennedy.
One of the things I did appreciate about this book was the very real challenges that Charlie faced as an adoptee and trying to learn more about her heritage - while this is something I have never faced; it added so much depth and emotion that rounded out the book nicely.
While this book is not Kennedy's first time writing an MFM couple (seriously, do yourself a favor and read her Out of Uniform series if you haven't already), it was a first for the Briar University universe! As always, I love Elle Kennedy and will read anything she writes and highly recommend reading The Charlie Method to anyone interested!

I think I should start off by saying that I haven’t read any of the other Briar U books. I personally think that being the second generation, you should read the first one because I didn’t feel connected like I should have. The characters in here, I'll really appreciate more when I've reread it after completing the rest of the Briar U!
Also, a huge shoutout to GetRedPR! It was an honor to be able to get an eARC and an ALC for it! I loved the narration! (It definitely got me into Audiobooks!)
A few things that I've noticed.. There wasn't a lot of hockey in this book. As a hockey lover myself, I wish that there was more hockey incorporated into it. It felt very driven around Charlie and her sorority life. I sat here for a moment after finishing it trying to see if I could draft a review because my brain couldn't fully understand what happened. I liked it enough to continue BUT, the drama at the end.. I didn't find it really needed. I also personally don't like drama in the last 25%..
Overall: 4/5
Spice: 2.5/5

I was super excited to be able to read it early as I loved the first 2 books (the Graham Effect was one of my favorite reads from last year). This one was a bit disappointing to me though. This pains me to say but this is my least favorite Elle Kennedy book. We've been teased about Beckett and Will's tendencies on the first 2 books and I guess my expectations were a bit high.
Okay, so things I loved first. I love Charlie and her adoption story was nicely and delicately done. The constant pressure to be good and follow norms/rules is something I can relate too and made her character easy to like. I love her relationship with her bestfriend Faith and Blake as well. I enjoyed Beckett and Will's brotherly relationship too. They ineteract exactly how I pictured people who are into this kind of arrangement to be. Love the cameos of the previous Off Campus guys and their Dad Chat. I appreciated the drama and sappy moments from Charlie's adoptive family as well.
Now to some issues. I didnt love the insertion of the fan fiction. For me, it didnt add to the story. I skipped those parts tbh. As much as I loved Charlie, Will and Beckett's characters, I didnt love them together. Separately, they are awesome. There was no chemistry and did not feel any tension. The spicy scenes got repetitive and again did not add to the story. Honestly, I started skipping most of them after 50% of the book. I knew the tropes going into the book so I wasnt surprised but I have read other similar books and I feel like this wasnt as cohesive and as well written. The conflicts at the end seemed unnecessary. The ending left me feeling blah but also I was done and did not crave for bonus epilogues.
Overall, I can see why other readers loved the book. There are certainly many scenes in the book that was funny and romantic. I just wished it was not all over the place and the story was more cohesive.
Thank you to the publisher and Get Red PR for the eARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.

Charlotte, Will and Beckett are everything.
Will and Beckett are so swoony and wonderful. They both bring so much happiness and love to the story. Will is sweet and caring. He is so supportive of Charlie. Beckett had his own share of hard time and trauma. Charlie and Will were everything he needed.
This story is beautiful, spicy and funny. I loved every second of it.
Thank you so much to Bloom, Get Red PR and Elle Kennedy for the ARC.

I love this trio so much!! The dynamics between all three were so fun and I loved that they were unique from one another!

Elle Kennedy can do no wrong but this might be my favorite of all of her books. The chemistry between Charlie, Beck and Will is electrifying. This is not your typical reverse harem novel, rather, it’s a novel about 3 young adults finding their way in the world and in love. Toss in hockey, an international move and an overbearing sorority president and you have the perfect romcom. This book will make you laugh and fall in love, such a great read!

Thank you to NetGalley, Get Red PR and Dreamscape for this ALC, in exchange for an honest review.
The Charlie Method by Elle Kennedy is a fun, exciting story about Charlotte Kingston, a college senior with a secret life. To her parents, she’s a model student studying STEM and involved in her mom’s sorority. But when Charlotte logs into a dating site as her alter ego, Charlie, she’s looking for some adventure and a no-strings hookup. Things take an unexpected turn when the two guys she matches with, Will and Beckett, turn out to be her classmates and hockey stars.
I was kind of hoping for a happy ending with just Beckett and Will, but honestly, the trio of Will, Beckett, and Charlie was just as good. Each book in the series feels fresh, even though there are familiar threads that tie them all together. The chemistry between the three of them was intense, and if you're into steamy scenes, this one will not disappoint.
What really stood out to me though was the emotional side of the story. Charlie is trying to figure out how she feels about being adopted and the search for a family member she’s never met. The way she struggles with her identity and the divide between her two families really resonated with me. I found myself deeply interested in the chapters focused on her family, especially her interactions with Harrison.
The audiobook was a lot of fun, with the added bonus of Beckett’s Australian accent, which was a nice touch (shoutout to Sean Masters). Teddy Hamilton and Persephone Lee also did a fantastic job narrating. Overall, it was a light, playful, and super entertaining listen. Normally, I loved the steamy scenes in this audiobook, and the narrators definitely nailed it!
4.5 Stars!

- nicknames
- hockey romance
- why choose (mfm)
- multiple povs
- coach hollis!!!!!! (he’s so silly i love him)
where do i even start?? this book left me in shambles and reeling over how much i love these characters and this world. i have so much love for all of elle’s books and this was no exception.
this book immediately consumed my entire life as soon as i started reading it. i was so invested with this story and ALLLL the characters in it (ahem i’m looking at you blake) it should be illegal for a book to be this addictive!!!! i was giggling and kicking my feet more times than i can count from just how perfect will, beckett, and charlie are together.
like every one of elle’s characters, will and beckett made me fall in love with them as soon as they were introduced in the graham effect. and charlie stole my heart in this book with her strength, thoughtfulness, and duality. also charlie being a racing girl?? as if i needed a reason to love her more!!!! i’m so excited for everyone to meet them and read all of their distinctly unique povs!! i love how there were multiple povs and it made me feel so deeply connected to each and every single one of them.
all three of them are going through so much in their personal lives and with how society views their relationship, but through all of that they love each other so unwaveringly and it’s just so precious. their banter is just so fun and their movie nights and talks about time travel are soooo cute!!
there’s so many little things that i just feel the need to mention because i love them all so much!! first of all, DAD CHAT!!!!! the cutest group ever ill never get over them. and secondly, lourdes’s fanfic!!!! i’m actually so invested and obsessed with it 😭🤭 AND OF COURSE BLAKE!! loved having more of her in this book and logan being so protective of her is adorable!! i’m so excited for her book!!!!
this book really marked the end of an era and I’m so emotional about it!!!! all the goodbyes!!!! i’m not okay!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the dual personalities for Charlotte/Charlie and following her journey to figure out who she really is. She’s a straight laced sorority girl on one end and a speed racing adventurer on the other. Her adventurous side is drawn to Will and Beckett and the relationship they’re offering but her straight laced side is terrified of what people will think.
I really appreciated the way this why choose romance was handled- how each of the characters kind of struggled with this decision and how it would be perceived. They each had to come to terms with the choice - if they actually care what anyone else is going to think or if their love for each other is going to give them no choice.
I loved the relationship between Charlie, Will, and Beckett. I’d definitely say this is pretty tame for a why choose romance (haha) but you still get the spice AND the heartfelt moments.
Overall I really enjoyed this read and now I need to read the other two books for this series😊

The Charlie Method follows the life of Charlie, a perfectionist and overachiever who appears to have it all together by day. However, she harbors a secret side of herself that craves adventure and risk-taking. One day, she finds herself on a dating app, where she starts talking to two guys who have a peculiar habit of sharing the women they date. To her surprise, they turn out to be students at her school. Despite her concerns about what others might think, Charlie finds herself falling for both of them.
There are point-of-views from all three of our main characters.
Charlie, from the very beginning, struck me as a strong-willed and determined individual who knows exactly what she wants in life. Her character delves into her experiences with adoption and her struggle to find her identity as a Korean-American. Beckett, our lovable Australian Shepherd, is such a golden retriever. He’s incredibly funny, thoughtful, and brings out the best in Charlie. Will is such a calming influence, and I love how his strong and firm side comes out.
Read if you like:
- Sports romance
- Poly romance

- Female main character in STEM

5 stars. I wasn't sure I was going to love the M-M-F romance aspect of The Charlie Method. Call me old fashioned, but I typically gravitate towards romances with monogamous relationships (except PNR, in which case, all bets are off). But I'm so glad that I read The Charlie Method, and truly, I never should have doubted Elle Kennedy. The Campus Diaries series is now the 3rd series (2nd spin-off) that Kennedy has written following hockey players at Briar University, and it honestly doesn't matter which series the book is in, ALL of her Briar books are so damn good. As stated, The Charlie Method features a poly romance between a STEM female, Charlie, and 2 Briar hockey players- Will and Beckett. And as unconventional as their relationship may have been, it totally made sense and worked. The 3 of them complemented one another so well. All 3 of them had obstacles to overcome: Charlie was adopted and compensated for her insecurities about the adoption by striving for perfection, Will's dad was an asshole politician that ALWAYS put himself first, and Beckett still had scars from his high school relationship. But they were so supportive and emotionally invested in one another, and like I said, their relationship ultimately made total sense. Given that it's a poly romance, I think this might be the steamiest book that I've read from Elle, and I was not mad about that. Not at all. The book does deal with some serious topics, but there's also a lot of laughs, steam, and comradery. All in all, I hope Elle never stops writing in the Briar universe. I believe this is her last book for this series, but I'm hoping she'll have more Briar stories for us in the future. And for fans of the original Briar books, there are a TON of really funny cameos. If you're on the fence about this one because of the poly aspect of the relationship, but have loved Elle's other books, don't let that hold you back. Charlie, Will, and Beckett's relationship was just as intimate and emotional and transcendent and moving as the monogamous relationships featured in books 1 and 2 of the series. And I truly applaud Elle for switching things up with this one. Thank you to Kennedy, Bloom, netgalley, and Get Red PR for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Charlotte Kingston has two sides: Charlotte, the STEM overachiever, good sorority girl and Charlie, the fast driving, flings in cars, let loose girl. “Charlie” meets B and Lars on a dating app who tell her that they are into sharing their women. She soon finds out that they are Beckett and Will, two college hockey players.
This book is very spicy as the author explores the two men and one woman relationship. I adored both Will and Beckett and didn’t want Charlie to have to choose. Besides that, I loved the relationship between Will and Beckett.
I could have done without the fan fiction chapters, though. They added nothing for me.
Thank you to the author, Bloom Books and Get Red PR for an advanced readers copy and a #gifted final copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed this one! Elle Kennedy is one of my favorite authors and it is so much fun to get to see what the Off Campus guys are up to now as adults. I loved the writing as always. I also loved the way Charlie really comes into her own throughout the book. The relationship between Will, Charlie and Beckett was really fun to read!

Thank you so much @getredprbooks for sending me this e-Arc for The Charlie Method! 🫶🏼 Elle Kennedy is one of my favorite authors and I absolutely could not wait to read the 3rd book in the Campus series as this story focused on Charlie, Will and Beckett. Can we talk about Beckett tho!? The man is a freak and I was all here for it 😍🔥
The spice was very good in here 👀🔥 very hot! I really enjoyed Charlie’s character she is very strong and I love that she goes after what she wants. This was a nice mix of sorority girl x hockey romance.
This book had me laughing and curling my toes! Elle did fantastic with this one and I just think the 3 characters go together amazingly! I loved how it started off with some spice already from the first chapter!
Some of my favorite quotes in this book 🤭
“Just so you know, Beckett says, I’ve spent a lot of time imagining what you sound like when you c*m” 👀🔥
“If you want to be kissed, Charlie, all you have to do is ask.”

Gosh I just love being back in the Off Campus Universe! It is so nostalgic for me and even though these characters weren't directly second gen, we did have some fun cameos that I loved and I really ended up loving Charlie, Beckett, and Will!
So I know that people were maybe disappointed that this was MFM and not MMF, but I think MFM was perfect for these three and worked so well. I am glad Elle Kennedy wrote the story the way she wanted to and I hope people go in with an open mind and don't focus on that too much! They do discuss it and I liked how all those aspects were done.
I will say that this is long. Like almost 600 pages. And while I did appreciate that it gave lots of time for the relationships to develop organically and there were some fun side things and each character had individual plots going on, it still did feel long. And the beginning was a little slow. But once I got into it, I was very invested and really enjoyed!
I could honestly relate to Charlie in some ways being in a sorority and in STEM in college. Feeling like she has to act a certain way for the world, I'm sure we've all gone through similar things so I think her arc made a lot of sense and I loved how Will and Beckett helped her through that. I really ended up liking her and loved her friendships with Faith and Blake!
And the boys! I really did love them. I honestly don't know if I have a true favorite. I think they both brought different things to the whole dynamic which allowed them to fit well together. They were both hot with Charlie in bed, but I liked that the spice didn't take over the whole plot like some MFM stories can.
Honestly, it was just a good time and I love this world so much. I will forever be down to read any books in this universe Elle Kennedy will give us and if you are an Off Campus fan, definitely recommend!
Also, I did listen to some of the audiobook as an immersive read - duet narration with three narrators?!? Perfect. Highly recommend!!
