Thank you so much to Elle Kennedy and Get Red PR for the ARC of this book!

Guys Briar Hockey is so backkkk! Literally every single Off Campus and Briar U man makes an appearance in this (YES that includes Mike Hollis lol) also don’t even get me started on how hilarious their “Dad Chat” text thread is!!!

One of my favorite parts of this book was the “side quests” you get to read engaging text threads In between chapters or a time travel historic romance novel chapters that one of the characters classmates is writing.

Overall this was a very enjoyable and fast read. I found the characters to be incredibly funny while also having a lot of depth and meaning that the majority of hockey romances do not have.

This was an enjoyable book and I highly recommend it to fans of off campus, sports romance, or romance readers in general!

It’s senior year at Briar U. Beckett and Will are best friends who have been known to share…but don’t kiss and tell. After Charlie matches with their joint account on a hookup app, it takes some time (and scorching texts) before they’re ready to meet up.

I get that not all readers will appreciate a MFM romance. I thought Elle did a fantastic job on making all three characters seem realistic and each had their own unique journey. The love that both of them had for Charlie - and that Charlie had for both of them - was genuine, supportive, and not just physical. As it’s their senior year, they are all trying to figure out the future and readers get a front seat to job offers, grad school applications, and more. We definitely got to know Charlie the best, but Beckett and Will were well-represented, too. I had such a hard time putting this one down and really enjoyed it.

If you’ve enjoyed Elle’s previous books, or simply love a spicy new adult romance with a good dose of real-life, too - give it a read! As usual for Elle’s books, the friends and family were really special - and the Dad Chat text thread in particular was hilarious.

I received an advanced reading copy, receipt of which did not impact my review.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, as it's definitely not a trope I've ever read before, and let's be honest - a throuple is most definitely not the most conventional of relationships.

But somehow, this - works.

I don't know how Elle Kennedy does it so flawlessly, but the way this couple of three: Beckett, Will and Charlotte, comes together (pun intended) - actually works! Of course we've met Beckett and Will - who are on the lookout for a new lady to round out their dating triangle. Enter Charlie - STEM overachiever, sorority girl and people pleaser... and closeted 'wishes she was anything but'. She's looking for excitement, and some (minor) rule-breaking, and when she swipes on not one, but two, hot bodies in a dating app profile photo - it doesn't take her much thought to make the match.

This one is so open door, it's blown off the hinges. But as much as it's steamy and sexy - it is equally tender and sweet with consent and care taking the wheel as this tantalizing threesome has all sorts of ups and downs (of every kind) navigating the most unconventional of relationships... that somehow just ends up working out perfectly for them. Each character on it's own has depth, layers, and interesting qualities, but together they are almost destined to be together - as three.

Fun and flirty, hot and uninhibited - The Charlie Method throws convention out the window and leaves the blinds wide open for all to see!

Charlie matches with an anonymous dating profile online, but the catch is that the profile isn’t just one guy.. it’s two. They start messaging daily and flirt back and forth. This only makes Charlie want more with both men.

I really liked Charlie’s character. She was a perfectionist to a T but also a rebellious college senior who hides this part of herself from others. Will was such a pure and wholesome guy. I was rooting for him from the beginning. Loved how him and Charlie had a bond from their college class before they knew that they were messaging on the app. Beckett grew on me and FAST. A hot, sarcastic and sweet Australian? Yes please.

I think that this book will definitely get everyone’s attention and I am so thankful that Get Red PR gifted me an early copy. ❤️

This was so fun, spicy, thought-provoking, and an all-around good time!! There is so much character development in this book, which offsets the spicy scenes so it feels well balanced. It really feels like the more important focus was the self journey that Charlie, Beckett and Will all go on than their romantic relationship. I love this, because there's no relationship more important than the one you have with yourself. I'm excited for everyone to read this book, and I am so thankful to Lori at GetRedPR for the advanced reader copy on Netgalley!!

Just when I think Elle Kenedy couldn't possibly top her previous book in charm, swoon or steam, she manages to do it again!

Admittedly this story line is different than my usual romance preference of a couple, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I should have known better than to hesitate. Each of the characters in this trio (thruple?) are well developed (ahem), complex and facing individual challenges in their respective lives. The result is a story that is as tender as is is steamy. The respect the Charlie, Beck and Will have for each other, and the explicit consent, communication and care, added so much to the relationships and the novel.

I hope this series continues because there are a couple more characters I'm rooting for at Briar!

What readers may want to know:
Door wide open
Death (in past, off page)
Emotional abuse by a parent
Emotional partner abuse (in past, but part of story)
Adoption storyline

My god I loved this book. I saw so much of myself in Charlie and resonated so deeply with so many of those inner thoughts she had about the life she wanted for herself vs. the life she thinks she is expected to live. The character development, not only for her but also for Beckett and Will, was so amazing to witness. I felt like I was right there cheering on every single one of them and I LOVED the ending each of them got. One of the biggest things I love about Elle’s writing, besides the spice of course, is the way she makes you just feel every emotion. One minute I was laughing at dad chat and the hilarious text messages, the next I’m pacing around my apartment because of the mouth on these men, and the next I feel like I’m ready to bawl my eyes out. If you’re looking for a book to get lost in and fall in love with, this is it. I have cherished every second I have spent in this universe, and dare I say this may be my favorite book in the series? I don’t know if I can ACTUALLY pick a favorite but just know I loved this book so much and it’s a must read!

***Trigger Warnings: Loss of parents and mention of cancer***

The Charlie Method follows Charlotte who is the perfect sorority girl, a STEM student, and the adopted daughter of an overachiever family. At night she is Charluie who is looking for fun and finds herself chatting on a dating app with two anonymous men. Will is a hockey player and the son of a congressman. Beckett is also a hockey player and Will's roommate. Charlie soon learns that the two people that she has been talking to are Will and Beckett. Will and Beckett like to have fun together. They all start to hook up but then it turns into something more. Soon Charlie, Will, and Beckett start to fall for each other. They all know that this is not a conventional relationship but nothing will become between them and loving each other.

Elle Kennedy is my favorite author when I tell you I am obsessed with her books I really am. This book was my most anticipated book of the year. This book I don't even know how to express how much I loved it. This was my favorite book in the series. Beckett was my favorite side character in both The Graham Effect and The Dixon Rule. He is my favorite "Ice Boy" and I was so excited that he was one of the main characters in this book. I loved that all the books in this series have the perfect mix of serious movements, spicy moments, and lighthearted ones. I also love that all of these books have callbacks to the Off Campus and Briar U books. Which I would highly suggest reading those before reading this series It just makes the callbacks so much better. I am just obsessed with every single thing about this book. I just love everything Elle Kennedy writes. I don't know how to function like a normal human right now, I just really loved this book. I can't wait to reread this one.

Thank you so much, Elle Kennedy, Bloom Books, and Getredpr for the ARC of this book. This book was perfect in every way. This comes out on February 25.

My first 5 Star read of the year! The Charlie Method is my new favorite of the Campus Diaries Series!

I read this in a day. I was captivated. A MFM romance, these three MC's drew me in and kept me turning the pages. Charlie is pretty type A. In a sorority- she's driven, organized and an excelling STEM student. But there is so much more than meets the eye when it comes to her. Will is the steady yet sweet guy next door- with a thorn in his side he calls dad. Beckett is pure playful charm, with a heartbreaking secret from his past. College students who match anonymously on a dating app, things get steamy fast when they meet. Especially since these two hockey gods like to share. Just as feelings develop, the end of senior year is approaching. And they are about to have to make some difficult life decisions.

This was so much more than I expected it to be. I am truly just going off of vibes for this one. I adored each of these characters, their unique personalities, and even more so- their connections. But aside from the lighthearted, and seriously steamy moments- there are many real life complexities that draw such a variety of emotion too. Adding in depth and growth. It was just the reading escape I needed. I'm keeping this vague so not to spoil the reading experience, but I truly hope we get to see glimpses of these characters again in future Elle Kennedy books!

*Thank you to the author, Bloom Books, GetRedPR for the ARC via NetGalley. All opinions are my own and given freely.

4.5/5 Stars

Thank you @getredprbooks and @ellekennedy33 for my #gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

God, I love Elle Kennedy’s hockey world. I’m gonna be honest when I got this arc, I screamed. This is one of my most anticipated book releases of the year and it did not disappoint!

Larsen and Beckett have been great side characters in the last two books, especially in The Dixon Rule and I loved getting to know them more in this book. Larsen is such a solid character and a great book boyfriend. I loved his relationship with his stepmom and reading about how he grew into his own person despite his father. Beckett is such a flirt, but his backstory is my favorite. I love his family, especially his dad who is the definition of a stupid boy (even as a grown man) in such a funny way. Finding out why Beckett is so adverse to relationships was heartbreaking, but added so much to his character.

Charlie is such a complex character. I love how she works through her anxiety over decision-making through her lists. I absolutely think she could use a bit more therapy to work with her feelings on being adopted, but I loved the representation of adoption and the feelings that are associated with being adopted. I know a lot of people who are adopted and think Kennedy did an incredibly accurate job of describing the feelings that adopted kids often feel.

Charlie’s relationship with Larsen and Beckett is not only hot but also so sweet. You can feel how much they all care about each other and how even though none of them knew how it was going to work, they didn’t really care because they cared about each other that much. Their chemistry is incredible.

I highly recommend this book and this entire series!

The Charlie Method is the third book in the Campus Diaries series.

This one, like the others, was a fun and wild read. I can always count on Elle to deliver the spice and this one certainly did. Charlie is a STEM sorority girl- one you'd consider by the book and an uptight overachiever. But Charlie has a side she's hidden a bit of a freaky side if you will, she is on an anonymous dating app, except it's not one guy its two and she loves the heck out of it. It was fun to be alongside Charlie as she discovered that she is in love with not only one but two men and that they are her classmates and on the Briar University hockey team. One being Beckett a hot, sarcastic, Australian who Charlie, pretty much hates and he calls her "sugar puff" and the other being Will the pure, fun and genuine guy who is her lab partner who she's grown close with.

I loved how this story played out - Charlie growing as a person, discovering herself and getting to dive into her history of who she is and where she came from. But also, her learning it's okay to break the societal norms of a nontraditional relationship. But also Will and Beckett growing as individuals too. This book honestly was not at all what I expected, and I did struggle with it for a bit but once it clicked it clicked, and I couldn't stop reading. I of course loved the nods to previous series characters and the "Dad Chat" text thread was hilarious.

If you're a fan of Elle and love her hockey romance books, give this a try - it is a nontraditional romance that I am sure will keep you entertained.

Thank you to GetRed PR and Elle for an ARC, I am always honored to read these early.

So I finished this book in 2 days!
This follows Charlie, Will, & Beckett. In the past two books we have seen a glimpse of Will & Beckett so I was very excited to see where this book was headed!

Charlie is such a relatable character, she is trying to break out of her shell and be herself. Which is hard in a world where it’s the norm to be like everybody else, she feels the need to please her family especially since she was adopted. She is even in the sorority that her mother was in, which is a prestigious sorority that has to uphold a certain image. She goes through the internal battle of choosing herself or the opinions of others.

Will & Beckett also have there own personal issues which I really liked learning about.
Will is the son of a congressman who has to uphold a certain image of himself to the public, butt Will doesn’t truly care about that. Beckett is outgoing and to the world looks like the worlds biggest jock, but deep down he may be still hurting from his high school ex.

On another hand this his book was spicyyyy af 🥵 I was blushing while reading this!!

I really enjoyed this book and getting the three povs from each of them. I loved that this boom was funny, serious, and sexy. Seriously I found myself laughing out loud one minute then almost crying the next. This was such a fun story and I can't wait to see what Elle has next!!

I LOVE this series! This is technically book 3 of the Briar University series, but they can each be read as stand alone and in any order. In this story, readers meet Charlie, a senior in STEM and an overachiever. Charlie is more than her “good girl” personality, however, and she finds herself in a throple situation with two of the universities hottest hockey players.

Thule this book is STEAMY, especially with the MMF relationship, it is also a story about family, friendship and finding yourself. Charlie grew so much throughout the story, where she shed some of the expectations of herself and was able to become someone she was truly happy with. This story also explored adoption and Charlie’s want and need to find biological relatives. These books have so many layers, and just as with the first two, I couldn’t put it down.

Thank you to the author and GetRed PR for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

I’ll be honest, this wasn’t my favorite Elle Kennedy book. I just never felt fully sold on the relationship. Also, I didn’t feel connected or fully invested into any of the characters. Both Beckett and Will felt a bit under-developed to me and I wish we had had more time spent developing them as individuals. I was way more invested in Charlie’s adoption storyline and navigating that situation. I found that super engaging and interesting. The ending felt a bit underwhelming to me. I didn’t feel like we fully got closure to everything that happened in the book. Also the last 10% conflict really grated my nerves because it felt thrown in there for no reason and made the book drag on for me. I loved the cameos from all of the previous characters. I really loved getting to see more of Blake Logan. I can’t wait to see where her story goes from here. Overall, a solid book but not a favorite.

If there's one thing we can count on from Elle Kennedy, it's that she will absolutely deliver when it comes to a hockey romance! And add in the Why Choose trope? *Chef's kiss*

This book follows Charlotte or "Charlie," Will and Beckett. Will and Beckett are hockey players and roommates who have been known to share in the bedroom. Charlie has two sides to her - the preppy, sorority girl named Charlotte and the spicy, libido heavy Charlie.

I loved how Charlie knew both Will and Beckett and had different relationships with each of them before she figured out the connection to the dating app. This was fun to read her put the pieces together, especially since her and Beckett were very much enemies in the beginning. I enjoyed watching their situationship turn into more and how they all began to break down the walls each had up. It was so sweet to see how the guys took their time with Charlie to let her process everything she needed to and give her the space to feel comfortable.

I am Charlie, and Charlie is me. She is my list making, calendar using queen and I loved how similar we were in that sense. I really enjoyed her character, and watching her go from caring about everyone's opinions, to finally saying F*CK it and live the life she wanted to. I also really loved how she discovered who she was (literally) and where she came from, and how supportive her family was of her.

Will and Beckett were pure hockey romance gold. I wasn't expecting both of them to want something other than hockey after college (I think we're all used to hockey MMC's going pro) but it was definitely refreshing to see. They both had their own issues, but I loved how they each grew through the book and opened up.

While the Dixon Rule is still my favorite of the series, this book was a fun read and felt really different (in a good way) for Elle's writing. I still can't believe I get to ARC read for Elle, but I am so appreciative for the ARC copy!

This wasn't really what I was expecting it to be, but I really enjoyed it! I thought the direction that all the characters arcs went played out really well. They were fully developed, rich with emotions and made sense by the end of the book. I was a little thrown off with the timelines from scenes we had in The Dixon Rule to some scenes in The Charlie Method, but that could have just been me misremembering things. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I think it did a great job handling real emotions for a non-conventional relationship. I look forward to sharing this book, and series, with lots of book lovers in years to come.

This is the third book in the Campus Diaries series and follows two irresistible hockey roommates, Will and Beckett, as they navigate a relationship with Charlie, a STEM sorority girl and textbook overachiever. Only Elle Kennedy can make me fall equally in love with two characters and fully embrace a nontraditional romance!

The dynamics between the three felt authentic, with incredible sexual tension, witty banter, and open, honest conversations. Charlie’s character growth was particularly compelling as she grappled with her identity and the realization that she is in love with two men—a concept that took me time to fully embrace as well. She was easy to connect with and root for throughout the story, making me unable to put the book down!

Read if you like:
-MMF relationship
-Hockey romance
-Adoption journeys
-College setting

Thank you Bloom and Get Red for the ARC!

I just love how Elle Kennedy can write a romcom that will sweep me off my feet while bringing all the steam! The Charlie Method is a witty romance that is sweet, funny, at times serious, full of excellent banter, a ton of sexual tension and will give you some very sexy shivers.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆?

I pretty much loved everything about this book! From the character growth and discovery to the suspense and serious moments that deal with family relationships, hurt, trust and so much more. I was just held hostage by it all in such a good way. The best part was the whole story felt extremely real and I was able to completely connect as I read.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲?

The romance had all the sexual tension and buildup that I love. However, what really stood out was how Kennedy approached writing about the very serious moments that made the MMF situation quite real in the way that it affected the characters and how they viewed their sexual situation and fears.

🔥Steam level: Open door with the hinges blown off and a few walls taken down

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁:

MMF/Throuple
Adoption
Family drama
Excellent sexual tension
Wonderful friendships
Laugh out loud moments

𝗗𝗼 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿?

Nope, and that’s the thing I love about Kennedy’s series. You can pick them up in any order!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲?

Holy smokes! This is one chunky book that clocks in at over 500 pages, and I flew through it in just two days. Honestly, this book hooks you from the very first paragraph and doesn’t let you go, so don’t expect to get anything done once you start reading it.

𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?

An absolute MUST READ!! A MUST! Now to attempt to wait patiently for book 4, and I have no clue as to who's story will be next, but I already know I'll love it!
