Part of one of the best duets ever! GRAVITY wasn't the first book I read by Sara Cate, but it's the book that solidified my love for her! Such a fabulous story with lots of spice and emotion. Forbidden romances are my jam, and ex's boyfriend's dad makes it that much better! You have to make sure you read Free Fall next!

Zara, Alistair (father) & Nash (son) are all tethered together through an emotional loss. Zara lost her much loved twin sister, Alistair lost his son and Nash his big brother. Each struggling in their own way and barely keeping their heads above the emotional darkness which pulls them under. Zara feels powerful and wanted whilst dancing, Alistair buries himself in work and Nash parties too hard with fast woman and booze, anger is his constant companion. I don’t know if i really enjoyed the love tingle and that fact that in the end she ends up with his dad o don’t know how to feel for some reason I wanted it to be the son but still I don’t know how to feel about it was spicy like oof but still I don’t know

What could be hotter than three months on a private island with two men, all for a million dollars?!?! Zara is made an offer by Alistair Wilde she just can’t resist, to date, live with, and tame his son Nash. She ends up in far over her head living with both men on a private island. She is there for both of them in ways that bend and break all the rules and cross all the lines.

Sara just brought all the heat with this one, and I am so glad to see it in bookstores and be joining all of her other amazing books on shelves. Be prepared for an ice cold glass of water and to fan yourself off!

You can always count on Sara Cate to take you on a spicy and wild (no pun intended) ride and Gravity does not disappoint. Gravity is a story of grief and how people choose to process that grief. Zara chooses to get entangled in a love triangle with her dead sister's dead boyfriend's father and brother. After an angsty, complicated series of events, Zara manages to get her happy ending.

I went in completely blind and was so surprised by the end of it all. The book is DIFFERENT!… in a great way! I ended up rooting for all the characters even though in the end you know there’s only one possible outcome. I really needed a book with angst and drama and it delivered.

Gravity is a heart wrenching yet steamy tale of life after loss, finding oneself (in and outside the bedroom), and learning how to open your heart. Bound by grief after a helicopter crash claims Zara’s twin sister and Nash’s brother/Alistair’s son, these three find themselves in a toxic love triangle. In a twisted attempt at healing the past, sex becomes a weapon of pain to cope with their guilt.

Sara Cate is the master of creating a dark and twisty tale that stretches your trope comfort levels while immersing you in a hauntingly beautiful love story. The character development in this book is nothing short of phenomenal. These deeply flawed individuals live in a world shrouded with secrets where pain is the only way they understand how to survive. It’s tragic, beautiful, and sucks you in for an unforgettable journey!

Throughout the book, you’re continuously engaged in a steady push and pull of emotional tension. Which Wilde will Zara choose? She can’t have both without destroying all 3 of them. The pacing keeps you invested in this rewarding love affair that’s dangerously spicy. A note of warning: this is a love triangle story, not a reverse harem. HEA included.

Thank you to Sara Cate and Sourcebooks Casablanca for providing me a copy of this rerelease ebook. All opinions are my own.

This was a re-read for me, and oh I loved it just as much the second time!

Zara, Nash, and Alistair are all still grieving the loss of Zara’s sister and Nash and Alistair’s brother/son in a tragic helicopter accident two years ago. They are all grieving in their own destructive ways, but maybe together they can help each other to heal.

So this one is about as Taboo as can be, so definitely be aware of that. (It’s a love triangle with a father and son…and it’s a Sara Cate book, I’m just saying! 👀)

I love this story so much; so much emotion, so much heart, and some very spicy spice! 🔥

And just know when you finish this one, that the “other” man in this triangle will get his HEA in the second half of this duet! 🥰

What this book is giving:
✅ Contemporary Romance
✅ Multi POV
✅ Age Gap (He’s 50, they’re in their mid-20’s)
✅ Love Triangle (w/ father & son)
✅ So very Taboo
✅ Forced Proximity
✅ Helicopters
✅ Grieving

This book was emotional, forbidden, and healing all in one. Zara, Nash, and Alistair are all grieving their loved ones. When Alistair comes up with a plan to help his son with his grief he wants Zara to help. But he also wants to help Zara too. The way they came together and not only learn to love each other but also to heal was amazing. This book has so many emotions and forbidden scenes. I loved every minute of this book

It was good but definitely not my favorite SC book. I just felt that it was pretty clear who was going to be the endgame choice from the very beginning, so the whole love triangle thing didn't feel that worth it. It had a good amount of spice if that's what you're looking into but yeah...

“The three of us are bound by grief. The guilt for surviving the people we loved the most has been eating us away for two years. Wrecked and broken, we found each other again.”

Gosh this book 😮‍💨. I don’t even know where to begin truly. Sara is an absolute master of weaving emotional trauma and the healing of that trauma through connection and sexuality. This book was intense in the best way, I was instantly hooked and couldn’t put it down. I loved it, I was broken by it, I was put back together.

“For so long I felt like I was falling, but this man pulled me in. And finally, I have landed.”

Zara is the gravity that brings Alistair and Nash back to themselves and brings Zara back to herself after a serious shared trauma. Three years after the life changing day, none of them are doing well. All broken apart and spiraling in their own ways. Nash Wilde finds Zara York and thinks he’s handling his pain towards his father, coming for her at her job. After that encounter Alistair Wilde notices a shift in his son and proposes a deal to Zara in the hopes of getting his son to come back to himself. Only Zara doesn’t realize the intensity of healing both men are in need of and it’s too easy to fall for both of them. The navigation of their pain, their desires, the hope of love leads all three on a journey they didn’t expect and outcome they all expected even less.
I highly recommend this book. It was beautifully written, well fleshed out, and very unique. Not your typical MFM romance in a great way!

“You’re caught between us, Zara. You’ve landed right in the crossfire, and you should be very careful about who you f*** with because neither of us play nice.”

“If we’re going to play that game, get it right. It’s Daddy to you.”

“You’re caught between two alphas, Zara. What have you gotten yourself into?”

Okay, first off, this was a fun read. Sara Cate just knows how to pull you into a story and make you hooked! But let’s talk about the main character Zara, girl had me slightly annoyed with her indecisiveness and immaturity. Like, make a choice, bestie! But somehow, I still couldn’t put the book down. LOL

Now, let’s get to the real topic here, Alistair Wilde. I imagine him as Henry Cavill 🙌 And then I find out I was thinking the same thing in Chapter 3.

The familial taboo? yeah, not even remotely bothered. As long as it’s an old, rich man, I’m already halfway in love. 😂 So thanks, Sara, for delivering exactly what I needed. Gravity was addictive, spicy, and had me in my feelings. A little frustrating at times? Sure. But did I love the ride? Absolutely.

Wow, what a beautifully complicated, steamy, love story of finding yourself through an unforgettable experience and shared grief. I was not expecting it to be as emotional as it was, but I enjoyed every second of reading Gravity and cannot wait to read Free Fall! The spice was SPICY of course as is Sara Cate’s specialty, always coming up with new experiences I never would’ve dreamed of. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read romance, especially with a little taboo and loves to get sucked into a beautiful story they can’t put down

Gravity is an intense, taboo love story that had me so engrossed I could not put it down. This novel was emotional, sizzling hott and angsty and is a messy triangle of lust and love. The characters were all flawed each suffering through the devastation of losing a loved one and it is that loss that brings them all together.

The story follows a trio of characters- the heroine Zara, who is mourning the unexpected loss of her twin sister, and Alastair and Nash, a father and son whose son/brother perished with Zara’s sister.

The story was well written and highly entertaining. It pushes boundaries and shows how love can be unconventional and unpredictable. This novel definitely takes you on an unexpected journey with these characters. I loved it and would highly recommend it to lovers of love triangle romance.

This is the book that made me fall in love with Sara Cate’s books! Zara, Alistair, and Nash have one complicated love triangle and ya girl IS HERE FOR IT!

Throughout the book you will be pushed and pulled in different directions, but she ended up with exactly who I wanted her to! This book is piping hot! Scenes I still think about to this day.

This was so much more than a love story - it’s a true story of grief and how you handle it.

First I will start by saying I am usually not a fan of love triangles so that did impact my rating however I really did enjoy how this one played out. It was equal.parts spicy and emotional. The way these flawed characters helped to heal each other was beautiful to read. This is a little taboo so if you don't like that sort of thing you may not enjoy this but I was here first r it every second and I will definitely reading the next book after I finish this review

Happy Reading

A read that will hold you down. I completely devoured this book. Omg. I am shaken. The couplings are so forbidden and taboo. However, you can feel how lost they all are individually. They're all suffering with bereavement and the psychological effects it can have. The fact that both father and son believe they have found some form of recovery in Zara produces a chaotic tale of grief and healing.I am quite interested in what is to come in free fall.

4.5 🌟 3 🌶

First and foremost, Sara NEVER misses. She's said it herself, if it wasn't for Gravity, SPC wouldn't have existed. She bends the "normality" of how spice is written. It's taboo, but she does it in a way that is so hot and steamy. Makes you feel all kinds of emotions while reading.

Zara, Nash and Alistair are very complex characters. Especially due to the death of their loved ones. Zara is the definition of "I will fuck you and your dad". I loved every minute reading this. I love how sex positive this book is. And I honestly fell so in love with Alistair. I am so excited to read Free Fall and Nash's story!

This had a lot more on page, er, romance, than her other more recent books. It was giving Credence vibes for sure.

I enjoyed this story, but did feel that it was missing some of the more in depth storytelling that I’ve gotten used to from Sara Cate. She’s clearly never been afraid of the taboo but readers should be aware of what they’re getting in to before diving in.

This book was such an emotionally charged read packed with enough HEAT 🔥 to make you need a cold shower afterward! 😮‍💨

✨Zara is our leading lady who finds herself caught up in a love triangle… although it’s not just your average triangle as this particular woman ends up getting involved with a father and son duo… someone say taboo?! 🤣

🖤Nash Wilde can’t be tamed but that’s exactly what his father, Alistair, asks Zara to attempt with a pricy offer that she just can’t refuse! Three months on a private island as Nash’s girlfriend while sharing the house with both him and his father. What could possibly go wrong?

✨I loved how entertaining this story was and getting to see these characters find themselves again! If you love a spicy, age gap romance that’s also taboo, this one if for you!

🖤Thank you so much to Sara Cate and Team, Source Books Casa and NetGalley for providing me with this gifted copy! 🫶🏻 *I was sent this gifted copy and am leaving this review voluntarily*

“I see what you awaken in him because it’s the same thing in me.”

An accident. Guilt. An arrangement. When you recognize the pain in someone else because it’s the same pain that consumes you. But how far will you go to mask the pain?

Zara, Nash, and Alistair experience a great tragedy. What follows next are a series of choices. This is an honest look at grief. It’s a powerful and unique love story. They had to go through this experience to get to the other side and there is so much beauty in the journey. It’s not conventional and that’s what I love. Push the boundaries. Defy the odds. Make me feel things I’ve never felt before. That’s what moves me and Gravity did just that.

“Everything in the moment with Alistair was so intense that it felt unstoppable. It wasn’t just lust. It was so much more. It was need. It was fate. It was inevitable.”

“When I’m with you, it doesn’t hurt so much,”
