Gravity by Sara Cate is a provocative and emotionally charged novel that explores the complex dynamics of grief, love, and temptation. Two years after the tragic plane crash that killed her sister and her boyfriend, Zara is confronted with an unexpected offer from Preston’s father, Alistair Wilde: live with him and his son, Nash, for three months as Nash's girlfriend, and receive a million dollars. What begins as a seemingly simple arrangement quickly becomes far more complicated as Zara navigates the intense, often dangerous chemistry between her and the two men, both of whom are grappling with their own deep emotional wounds. Set in the isolation of a remote house, Gravity explores themes of healing and desire as Zara is torn between her physical attraction to Nash and her emotional connection to Alistair, ultimately questioning what happens when love, grief, and forbidden boundaries collide. This gripping, heart-wrenching story will captivate readers with its raw emotional depth and complex characters.

Happy re-release day to Gravity! I loved this book so much! It was the second book I ever read by Sara Cate and the one that completely captured my heart! I could not get enough of this angsty and twisted forbidden love story!
One tragic accident changed the lives of three people. Zara lost her twin sister. Nash and Alistair lost their brother and son respectively. This story picks up two years after the crash. Nash is a mess and Alistair believes that Zara is the one who can pull him out of it. Alistair offers Zara one million dollars to be kind of a girlfriend to Nash and live with them on a remote island for three months.
This book wasn’t just a love story, it deals with grief and how people cope after losing someone they love. Zara, Nash and Alistair all handled the loss differently, but Nash and Alistair’s relationship became particularly strained. My heart broke for all three of them, and I don’t think any of them expected the toxic love triangle that developed.
In addition to being really emotional, the story was so passionate. Nash and Zara tried to heal by taking their pain and aggression out on each other whereas her healing dynamic with Alistair was much softer. There were also some super spicy flying lessons and what can only be described as the best Christmas ever.
As soon as I finished, I immediately started Free Fall because I had to know what would happen next.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
I was so engrossed in this book that hours would go by feeling like minutes.
THOUGHTS 💭
🚁 This book is spicy from the start. The spice was sometimes animalistic and raw, and other times was insatiable and sweet.
🚁 I got Pretty Woman vibes from this book with its billionaire MMCs and exotic dancer FMC.
🚁 The chemistry between Zara and Alistair and Zara and Nash is hot and wonderful in their own ways.
🚁 Their shared trauma binds them and provides a level of understanding that others can’t possibly “get.” There is history between them and I loved the flashbacks to help better understand these characters.
🚁 The taboo, forbidden, guilty pull of Zara to both Nash and Alistair is hot as sin; I love an age gap, forbidden, billionaire romance and this fits the bill. 🥵
Thanks so much to Sara Cate and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the ARC of this book!

I read the first book in The Wilde Boys Series, Gravity by Sara Cate in one sitting! It was such a good book and enjoyed how it was fast paced, suspenseful and quite steamy.
Because of an accident that happened two years ago, Zara, Nash and Alistair are bonded together through tragedy. Not one of them knows how to more forward in their grief and healing. Desperate and stuck in his need for healing with his son Nash, Alistair offers Zara, one million dollars to come live with him and his son on a private island. Oh, did I mention they both are seriously handsome billionaires. What could go wrong???
Perfect for fans of age gap, forced proximity, taboo or forbidden romance. Gravity is emotional and kept me engaged until the very end. Sara Cate is always a solid choice for me and I throughly enjoyed this one. I will immediately be starting the next in the Wilde Boys series, Free Fall. The continued story of Nash.

This is a raw, emotional journey through grief, love, and healing. After a devastating plane crash takes Alistair’s son, Nash’s brother, and Zara’s sister, none of them are the same. Nash spirals, his life unraveling, while Alistair, desperate to help him, offers Zara a million dollars to stay on his island and support Nash. Caught between them, she finds herself in a complicated, steamy relationship with both, forced to make an impossible choice. Their path is messy, painful, and deeply emotional as they seek solace in one another. It’s a gripping read that will keep you hooked until the end.

I always was wondering WHY Sara named this book like that, and today I know… I know that again, under the cover of forbidden love story she delivers something I didn’t expect. It’s romance or rather love story, that’s very challenging. There’s not so much suspense between the pages but the emotions and family drama are the leading roles over here.
One tragic event, 2 destroyed families, 3 lonely and very broken hearts. There’re tons of angst that’s mixed with fire and passion, BUT Sara like a pro lead everything thru the pages. Two men, father and son that lost their way for each other. One girl who will became their gravity just to bring them back together again. I love spicy books, but I need to feel that author doesn’t only want to shock readers, that at the end I will understand why these characters had to show passion in the way they are. THAT’s WHY Gravity hit all the right places. This book is really unique and beautifully written … even if forbidden I only felt it’s created because LOVE, love that will brings them back to life again.

Gravity is my second book by Sara Cate. I enjoyed Gravity and thought the book did a good job depicting the various ways we process grief, but I wanted more character development. It seemed to me like there wasn’t enough information or relationship development between any of three characters to make a choice between the two MMCs. I kept wondering why it wasn’t just a very complex and pretty taboo why choose story. The spice was spicing though!

If you read open door romances add all of Sara's books to your tbr

Sara Cate is one of my absolute favorite authors and I was so excited to see the new stunning cover for Gravity. This book has been on my TBR for a while but I had to bump it up so I could review for the new cover release!
Gravity will leave you panting from cover to cover. It’s dark, it’s hot and it will have you on the edge of your seat. The characters all work through a lot as they exist in the wake of shared tragedy. They hurt and love each other in equal amounts and while we get an HEA it’s not a smooth ride to get there.
I cannot recommend Sara Cate enough and this book was amazing. Cannot wait to read book two!

This book didn't seem to be for me unfortunately. While the premise was interesting, I just couldn't connect to the characters so it made it hard for me to care about the relationships between Zara/Alister & Zara/Nash and the mystery plot point didn't really intrigue me. I typically love this authors' work so I know it wasn't a matter of the writing, it just didn't mesh with me personally, I suppose.

“There is no angel on my shoulder today. There’s not a voice in my head telling me this is wrong.”
Gravity follows Zara York, who is trying desperately to navigate grieving the loss of her sister when none other than Nash Wilde, the twin brother of her sister’s boyfriend, shows up at the club she dances at. Zara and Nash are carrying the same grief, as she lost her sister and Nash lost his twin brother. It’s been two years since they’ve laid eyes on each other, but now he’s back in her line of vision and won’t leave her alone - not atleast without one dance. Except that one dance turns into a lot more than just a dance, and she’s left with a lot of regret.
Two weeks later none other than Alistair Wilde, Nash’s father, is in her club offering her an opportunity. Stay with him and his son on their private island for three months in exchange for a million dollars. The only problem? Alistair is just as broken as Nash, and the only person that may be able to heal them - may also be the person to tear them further apart.

Thank you so much Sara Cate, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and Netgalley for allowing me to reread Gravity ahead of its traditional release. Congratulations Sara, on yet another traditional release. 🤍 Being a part of watching you grow as an author is nothing short of inspiring.

This is a great story - all about grief and the lost souls it leaves behind. The grief stricken three come together and it’s emotional. Won’t ruin the end but there is more to follow in Freefall. This book is full of angst and raw emotion whilst they deal with their grief and their growing attraction. It’s a captivating read and it’s super spicy too. Although a duet part of the story ends here but there is more to come to complete the story for all three of them.
I really Enjoyed this book but really looking forward to book 2 and read what happens after the island.

Alister Wilde, Nash Wilde & Zara York all are dealing with a loss. Zara hasn’t seen the Wilde men in two years since that one tragic day and has tried to reinvent herself. When Alistair shows up at her work and asks her to help his son Nash get back to who he was she agrees. Spending some time on their private island with him & his son might make things quite interesting if not complex. A taboo romance that will have you reaching for a bucket of ice but it also has an emotional journey for all three characters. Very well written and all in all a beautifully told unique romance between three broken people trying to heal. MF; MFM; Triangle; Told in first person and multiple POV.

Gravity is the first book in the Wilde Boys duet written by Sara Cate.

Sharing is caring is the theme of this spicy novel!
After suffering through a traumatic loss years ago, the three main characters are struggling to survive on a daily basis and move ahead in their lives. Alistair decides it’s time to make a move and fix his family.
His idea is forbidden and spicy, almost falls apart a couple of times, but ultimately brings him, his son, and their love interest closer than ever!

This one wasn't my favorite by Cate, but that's more to do with personal preferences than the book itself, necessarily--Cate imbues kink with emotion to get at the heart of why her characters have sex the way they do, making her works thoughtful installments in the erotic romance genre.
