This book really digs into what it means to balance love, identity, and figuring out who you are. Seth is this passionate bisexual marathoner who sparks a pretty complicated love story with Kat and Dylan. Kat’s the witty, fun one who’s been hurt before, so she’s hesitant to go all-in. Dylan’s got the brains and confidence but is stuck juggling his career and his feelings. The three of them end up in this intense relationship that’s as messy as it is hot, and honestly, it’s hard not to feel for them as they work through their stuff.
As things unfold, you really see how tricky it is to juggle love with the chaos of real life—like legal drama and career pressures. But what makes the book stand out is how it doesn’t shy away from showing how complicated relationships can be when ambition and personal dreams collide. The author does a great job of making the characters’ struggles feel real, and by the end, it’s clear that love, while messy, is always worth the fight. It’s a super emotional read that’s going to stick with you long after you’ve finished.

This was a well done romance novel, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed the way this was written. The characters were everything that I was hoping for and worked in this universe. Liz Ellyn has a strong writing style and am excited for more.
