Nick and Al can’t be trusted! Who are they really?
This book had me on the edge of my seat! I can’t believe how terrible Nick and Al are. What secrets are they keeping from the ones they care about? There was twists and things I didn’t see coming at all! The ending was shocking!
I feel so lucky to have received an E-ARC of Lisa’s book! She always knows how to write an amazing thriller book. I just couldn’t put this one down! Thank you so much NetGalley, Lisa Jewell and Atria Books for the E-ARC!

I devoured Lisa Jewell's latest novel in a single sitting; it was truly unputdownable! The narrative offered a thrillingly dark and twisted experience—imagine "Dirty John" taken to the extreme! The story unfolds through multiple perspectives over several years, and I can easily envision it being adapted into a Netflix miniseries. This is a must-read!

(3.5 rounded up) I’ve read 3 Lisa Jewell books now, including this one, and all 3 left me with different feelings. I thought Watching You was a page-turner with a lot of twists that I forgot about pretty quickly. Then, None of This is True was pacey and plotty and I was enjoying myself until the ending, which I found awful and honestly offensive. I can’t say much without risking spoilers, but it felt extremely problematic when I read it. This one was much more successful to me. It reads more like a thriller, in my opinion. There are different storylines weaving together involving different women in different circumstances, all centered around one very bad man. There is a mystery over a death and also a mystery of how exactly these women are linked and what this central man has done in totality, but this wasn’t as twisty as the other two books in her oeuvre that I’ve read. I read this quickly and enjoyed my time with it.
