I thought this by this title this would be rather interesting but it was hard for me to get behind the story and really get into and understand the characters.

This is such a hard book to review! Dempsey possesses a lyrical command of language which makes Finding Rebecca a truly beautiful composition, but the story takes so long to find it's feet that it's difficult to invest in the narrative. I'd definitely recommend it to other readers but after Dempsey's other work, notably White Rose, Black Forest.
