I wish there was some way on earth for Lyla Sage to write me my own perfect cowboy and for him to come to life.
This book was utter perfection. I’m so beyond belief happy that Cam and Dusty got their happy ending. We’ve been teased throughout the first three Rebel Blue books about them and to finally have their story in my hand was an honour.
Cam and Dusty are such beautifully written characters and this is probably the only time I will love a slow burn trope used. To see Cam overcome her fears and stand on her own two feet was so inspiring and Dusty, what a man. I wish a love like theirs was the real thing. I’d literally never let him go.
We see them come together after 15 years apart and realise the love had never left. That in the end, it overcame it all.
It was also so lovely to have the characters come back together for the final instalment in the series and see how they’re doing. I will always love Emmy and Teddy. And the ending, oh the ending was EVERYTHING.
I just loved this. I will have this book in my heart for a long, long time.
Rating - 8/10 ⭐
Firstly I want to thank @hachette for once again gifting me this e-arc! I have loved reading this series so much and I was ecstatic to see I received the final book!
I was very excited for this story due to the tension between Cam and Dusty in the previous book. Before I started this book I already loved Dusty so much and I was so excited for Cam to get her love story!
Friends to lovers is a favourite trope of mine especially when it's a highschool sweetheart 🥹🥹
I loved the before chapters of them falling in love during highschool so much! It was so nice seeing the beginning of their relationship through to the end of it, especially as well didn't have a full understanding of how it ended.
During the present chapters it was soooo good seeing Cam be treated how she deserves to be! Dusty is a gentleman and soo kind and caring. And those spicy scenes 🥵👀 I ate this up.
I flew through this book in 2 days and it was such an easy read!
My only disappointment is that this being the last book of the series I was expecting a nicer closure for the family or some sort of epilogue that showed more of the family a year later or something like that. It sort of ended quickly and with no other mention of the other characters.
But other than that this was such a lovely second chance romance story and I loved that Dusty and Cam finally got their happy ending 😍
This book was quite frankly all I’ve ever needed in a book. With every book in this series each one got better and I wondered how this book would even match up to the previous. Dusty and Cam were absolutely everything. Cam is someone who I resonated a lot with- insecurities that stem from trying to live up to people’s expectations and fear to take a leap after a past full of hurt. Dusty was just… such a vibe. Like the ultimate man. Emotionally intelligent, steady, authentic. I’d have really liked to have seen Cam’s parents get an absolute knock down of all proportions but this was a fantastic end to a killer series
Thank you netgalley and the publisher for allowing me an ARC of this book
I was so excited when I got notification that I had received an advance copy of Wild and Wrangled through NetGallery, so I knew I needed to read this book ASAP and boy it didn't disappoint....
Loved Cam and Dusty's story throughout, their struggles and also liked how we were able to go back to see how they initially first met, became friends and then became so much more. How Dusty was able to slowly but surely break down the walls that Cam had built around her was so endearing. He treated her with the respect she needed to take the next step away from her past.
This is a second chance romance that will have you swooning in all the right places 🥰

I am so sad that this is the end of my Rebel Blue Ranch journey, as I have enjoyed every book in the series. Can't wait to see what Lyla has in store for us next 🥰
Thank you again for letting me read this before it is due to published.
The final book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. This book was the perfect conclusion to the series. I do still want more of all of these characters, this has been my favourite cowboy romance series. Cam and Dusty story was beautifully writtern going back between the present and the past. This got us to know more about the characters and understand their past and the reasons behind the friendship/relationship. Lyla your ability to write and flow your stories is amazing, I'm so excited to see what is next for you.
Goodbye Rebel Blue Ranch it has been a ride.
I was nervous when I released this was a second chance romance but holy moly did Lyla deliver!
I absolutely adored Dusty and Cam! It was great seeing the back and forth between last and present and see how much character growth they both had.
Get me a man who will wait fifteen years for me and never waiver in his love and devotion!
I can’t believe Rebel Blue is over. I can’t wait to see what Lyla does next!
4.5 ⭐️
this was absolutely stellar. 4.5 stars rated on goodreads & fable currently. I loved every second of this book. it was beautiful & tense & strong. the characters were absolutely beautiful & watching their growth was heartwarming. I loved how this book was the true definition of things happen for a reason & sometimes people must grow before they could find out each other again. while I was heartbroken for dusty more than I was for cam, her character development was beautiful & dusty loved her through it all (even if at points I felt she should be the one groveling to him) .. but there coming together was so beautifully thought out. this was a great ending to a beautiful set of 4 stories & to end it with emmy & brooks wedding. couldn’t have finished it off any sweeter!!!!
Tropes: ▪ Cowboy ▪ Second Chance ▪ Forced Proximity ▪ Single Mum ▪ Friends to Lovers ▪ Slow Burn ▪
This is most definitely my favourite book of the series! I have genuinely loved the entire series and I was so excited when this book hit my kindle!
When Cam's life is turned upside down by a missing groom, she has to completely restart her life. It just seems everywhere she turns she sees her high-school boyfriend and first love, Dusty. Dusty has always been in love with Cam, so if he can help her navigate this new turn in her life he will.
Anyone that knows me, knows that friends to lovers isn't my favourite trope, but this was done so well and it was just perfect for Cam and Dusty! I absolutely loved their book and I'm so sad the series has come to an end. I absolutely recommend it and I can't wait to get the Physical copy for my shelf!
Sweet second chance romance, simple story, very relaxing and in general good book to spend your time with. Can't wait what this author has in her mind next.
Thank you to both NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the absolute honour and pleasure of being an ARC reader for this book.
I have loved the other books in this series, but my goodness did this one hit so differently. I connected with these characters so deep in my soul, and this writing was just beautifully done.
I spent the last 15% sobbing and what a book to end the series on.
You guys are NOT ready for this one 😭😭
Childhood sweethearts to second chance romance. This book was the prefect ending to the rebel blue ranch series.
I loved the dual timelines and gaining an insight to their love story when they were in high school. The love that they show for each other is so sweet and grows stronger as they grow older.
Thanks Net Galley for early access!!!
I nearly screamed aloud (I would have if I wasn’t in a classroom).
I love a second chance romances with flash backs and Lyla Sage did it so well.
I gave it four stars, just because sometimes I prefer a little more personal reflection and depth, but because of who Cam was as a character it didn’t make sense for the plot.
Anyway I can’t wait to see what Lyla comes out with next!
That bonus chapter had me SOBBING 😭 What a beautiful way to wrap up this series 🩷 Lyla’s writing has developed so much over the course of this series, I could not put each book down and I cannot wait for what’s to come!
While this is a review and rating for this book only and it is a series of interconnected stand-alones, meaning you don’t have to read all the books if you don’t want to, i have to start off with a huge compliment to Lyla Sage for writing a very consistently good romance series. Oftentimes, an interconnected series like this will have at least one book that’s significantly worse than the others and even more often, i find myself afterwards only really having enjoyed one of the books in a series. Rebel Blue Ranch stands out as a consistently enjoyable series, yes, one of the books is obviously the best (spoiler, it’s not this one, it’s number 3) and one is the ‘worst’ (that’s actually the first one), but i would wholeheartedly recommend reading the entire series and not just picking out a book here and there.
Getting to Wild and Wrangled itself, we find ourselves somewhat back at Blue Rebel Ranch - Cam, mother of Riley, was just about to marry some dude to have some peace from her parents and general security when that same dude (he is not worth naming) decides to call it off. This obviously throws all structure out of the house when it comes to Cam’s life but that also leaves a spot open. And that spot is shaped like her high-school sweetheart, Dusty.
I adore second chance romances, it might be my favourite trope if well executed. There’s just something so beautiful about people finding their way back to each other. This is no exception. I love Dusty and Cam and I also love Cam and Riley, and Riley and Dusty, and Cam and Riley and Dusty together. They make a great team. I also am a big fan of how relatively undramatic the third act conflict ends up being. I don’t want to say too much, so I’ll keep it short by saying: if you’ve read the rest of the series, definitely read this book. If you haven’t read the series and like romance, then read the rest of the series first and come back to this one.
Thank you so much to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book.
THANK YOU LYLA SAGE & QUERUS PUBLISHING FOR AN ARC!!
Wild & Wrangled" by Lyla Sage:
In "Wild & Wrangled," Lyla Sage masterfully explores the theme of found family through the intricate relationships between her characters. The bond between the main character, Camille, and Amos Ryder, despite him not being her biological father, is beautifully portrayed as a source of comfort and support. Additionally, Camille's ex-boyfriend shines as a devoted father to their child, Riley, adding depth to the narrative.
The connection between Camille and Dusty Tucker is particularly compelling. Their relationship embodies the "one that got away" trope, and the tension between them creates a spicy dynamic that keeps readers engaged. As they navigate their past and present, the story delves into how their experiences have shaped them into who they are today. The theme of enduring love resonates throughout, making it a heartfelt journey that captures the essence of second chances and personal growth.
Overall, "Wild & Wrangled" is a captivating read that beautifully weaves together themes of love, redemption, and the importance of chosen family. Sage's writing draws you in, leaving you invested in the characters' lives and rooting for their happiness.
