I really loved the premise of this story. The blurb initially intrigued me and as I read, I liked where the story was going. However, I could not finish this story and I don't feel comfortable providing a review on my site because I didn't complete it. I did not enjoy this author's writing. Every tiny thing was mentioned when it didn't have to be and served absolutely no purpose to the story to elaborate that much especially when it would take a page to describe the character getting into a car or something similar. I also did not like how much head hopping there way. It kept going between Jesse and his mother without any warning. One sentence would be from Jesse's POV and the next from Claire and then back and forth. If the editing on the author's writing had been tighter, this could have been a really good book but as it was, I couldn't get farther than 20% into the story because of all this. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
