Daddy December is a quick and steamy holiday read with some of my favorite tropes like best friends’ brother and second chance romance. The plot follows Holly and Nick, two characters who were once deeply connected but drifted apart. Now, with a child in the picture, they’re given a second chance at love.

The narrators, Maxine Mitchell and Scott Rose, bring the story to life with their captivating performances. Maxine Mitchell delivers a stellar performance as always. Scott Rose, while new to me, does a fantastic job capturing Nick’s emotions and making him a believable character.

If you’re looking for a quick, sexy, and heartwarming holiday read, Daddy December is a perfect choice.

Good for if you want a quick audiobook, depending on speed could be read in 4 or so hours.
I liked the narrators
I think the title of the book is a lil cheesy, but it goes with the tropes of the book

Cute quick audio for the holiday season. It was the perfect balance of story and spice. The narration was nicely done.
What to expect: Second chance, single mom, found family.

This is a Christmas story and it's interesting that the main characters are Nick Christian, Noelle, and Holly. Nick's been living in England for the last 10 years. Apparently he hasn't been home in 10 years.

He and Noelle used to have a relationship but he left for future opportunities in England. Shortly after that, she finds out that she's expecting and she runs away from her hometown and all that she loved. Nick's sister used to be Noelle's best friend and they haven't been in contact all that time either. Noelle has decided to move back to her home town after both of her parents and her aunt dies. No one except Noelle knows that Nick is Holly's father. Although she is in her late 20's and he's 39, they communicate like they are mid teenagers.

Sorry that I didn't like this story that takes place at Christmas. I couldn't connect with the characters.

I listened to the audio version of the book. The narrators did a great job.
