Ok, well first of all the setting of The Unexpected Consequences of Love. Cornwall. Makes me want to pack up my bags and go visit immediately. So picturesque. Second of all, it's Jill Mansell - a guarantee I would enjoy a book. The characters she dreams up, her writing style, it's automatic mind escape for me. This was a fun, entertaining read with lots of interesting characters, a tad of miscommunication and the kind of ending that makes you feel all warm and cozy.

Sophie has sworn off men and her main focus is her career as a photographer. Her best friend Tula has a crush on Josh who just returned from the USA to run his family's hotel, and he in turn is all about Sophie. And of course Josh's friend Riley only has eyes for Tula. Josh's grandparents are divorced but does that mean that the spark between is gone?

This book takes us on a journey through these 3 interconnected stories in a beautiful setting. I love stories in which I grow to care about characters and Jill Mansell is a master of that. This book is for chick lit/romance genre book lovers, especially those who already know and enjoy Jill Mansell's writing.

Grateful to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Landmark for gifting me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
