This was a decent book about the future and what could happen if Christianity was outlawed. I kind of felt like I came into this in the middle. I would have loved a prologue with some background as to how this all came about, or even a flashback during the story. Maybe the author will address it in future books in the series.
I did love the action and that not everything turned out perfectly for everyone. In fact, there are quite a few bleak moments, but those do contribute to the overall feel of the story.
