I don’t read many historicals. Every once in a while an author catches my interest and I’m hooked. Such is the case with Kelly Bowen. Her first book, I’ve Got My Duke to Keep Me Warm has one of my all-time favorite covers. If that wasn’t enough, it takes on serious social issues. The hero made me laugh throughout, always a winner in my book. If you, like me, are a rare reader of historicals, this is a great place to start. Bowen has a great voice that draws readers in quickly and doesn’t let them go. Even better, this is a series.
