I read this quite some time ago; I apologize for not providing feedback sooner. I admire the author's innovative crowdfunding approach and enjoyed hearing about her journey. The part of this book that has stood out most in my mind over the years was the way that she taught her spouse what she needed when she was physically unwell; I've tried to apply that in my own life instead of assuming that the people around me instinctively know what I want and need. Amanda Palmer is very good at empathy and putting herself into other people's shoes; in fact, sometimes I think she does that a bit too much (like her poem after the Boston Marathon tragedy). Overall, an interesting book (I'm rounding up from 3.5 stars), but for me, the author has not stood the test of time.
