I received an electronic ARC from Tiger Tales through NetGalley.
Pip and Bun certainly have different styles and opinions. Pip loves to read and happily sits still to enjoy it. Bun is action oriented and wants to move and play. They find a way to combine their needs when Pip reads and Bun acts out the stories. Bun discovers how exciting reading can be, and Pip learns that actions can accompany quiet reading. They run into a problem when writing their own book and learn a valuable lesson on compromising.
Perfect book to share to affirm reading does not have to be a quiet activity only. Charming illustrations enhance the text and let readers see the action and the quiet.
Very cute story about the joys of reading! My 6 year old daughter loved this. Adorable illustrations & a lesson in patience, trying new things, and working together. Thank you Netgalley for the ARC!
This was such a cute little book! I love how Pip got Bun involved in the story they were reading. It got his imagination flowing and make up little stories of his own. Perfect for young kids!
Quite an adorable story about two sibling bunnies and how they work together to find a way to tell stories that interests both of them. My daughter (5) absolutely loved the illustrations. She thought the different stories talked about were funny (A penguin on a motorcycle... WHAT?!) When the bunnies started misbehaving and fighting she stopped the book to talk about how they were not nice, and was very happy to see that they made up and went back to playing. On my part I very much enjoyed reading this book. There were a bunch of parts I could make interactive, and playing with the bunnies' voices was fun. Seeing my daughter recognize and discuss the not so great moments was good too, and the showing how both came to a point of reconciliation on their own was a very good example. I like how it showed a believable sibling relationship with ups and downs, and allowed for conversation about it. We read this digital picture book through NetGalley.
This was an adorable book about the wonders that await us on the pages of books. I'm looking forward to adding this to my library's collection and can't wait to read it to the kids for story time.
Pip and Bun are two adorable bunnies that are very different! I love that they can come together and enjoy something that one loves but the other doesn't. This book reminds us we can be different and still get along, but we can also try new things! It reminds me of my husband and I, and our two kids. My son is so interested in reading and his cousins aren't just like Pip and Bun, but when they get together they still have fun and know when to say sorry!
This was such a cute story. I love how it promotes reading, by showing ways reading can be fun and imaginative, no matter what you like to read about. I also, like how it shows that different people often like different things to read about, and that's okay. I think this would be a great story to get for any children. I definitely want to get it for mine.
The illustrations were so pretty, and I loved how colorful each page was. I think that, along with the story, will help keep kids engaged.
A cute little book about 2 very different bunny siblings - one who likes reading and one who thinks books are boring. My 4 and 6 year olds really enjoyed this one. The illustrations are excellent.
I will admit the title and cover drew me to read this book without knowing anything else about it. The cover is so charming with lovely artwork, and who doesn’t find themselves saying, just one more story? Needless to say, the story was just as charming and lovely as the cover and title. Such a clever way to get the character, Bun to start reading while discovering the joy of it. I thought it was very sweet that it turned into the two characters wanting to write their own story. Thank you to NetGalley for providing the ability to read this book.
Just One More Story tells the tale of booklover Pip and nonreader Bun, a pair of adorable bunnies. Never twee, this picture book makes the point that a just-right book can make all the difference in developing the love of reading. Perry Emerson’s words and Sean Julian’s pastel illustrations combine to create a picture book sure to entice kids and their grown-ups alike. Highly recommended.
In the interest of full disclosure, I received this book from NetGalley and Tiger Tales in exchange for an honest review.
What an adorable story about the power of good stories! The illustrations are so adorable as well. This is a great book for those reluctant readers, and is even good for parents to see that even when a kid is not listening to a story, they may be listening the best!
Beautifully illustrated, the story encourages the love of reading. Pip loves reading and Bun doesn't, not until she realizes how much adventure awaits between the covers. Thank you, NetGalley and Tiger Tales, for the opportunity to provide an honest review.
3.5 ⭐️
I generally love books where the characters love books, but this one was just good not great. The story was lacking something. Illustrations of Pip and Bun were very cute.
Thanks to Tiger Tales publisher for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is the greatest little story with the cutest illustrations! It offers a unique look at the different ways we can read and experience a story as well as a lovely lesson on sharing and forgiveness. It is a quick picture book that I would recommend for a child's shelf!
Thanks to Netgalley for the chance to preview it in exchange for my honest thoughts!
This is an adorable story about bunny siblings, perfect to demostrate how attention spans can differ among age groups. Pip and Bun remind me so much of my own children, which was defintely part of the allure of this book. The bunnies have a great time reading, and imagining together. This was a cute book and I am considering to buy a copy when it releases.
I absolutely loved this. I love to read, I love bunnies, and I love bunnies who read!!!!’ And love how it sends kids the message that reading can be fun
this was just so adorable! Such a lovely message, too, for kids who are having trouble getting into reading. Helping them see that reading can be anything you’d like it to be. A fantastic lesson with brilliant artwork to accompany it
A sweet tale of two very different bunnies. One who loves reading and the other who thinks books are boring. At 17 pages, this is a short book that still manages to complete a story arc with a happy ending with beautiful illustrations. Best for younger children (4-7). My six year loved the story and the friendship between the two bunnies.
Thank you to NetGalley, Perry Emerson and Tiger Tales publishing for the eARC.
X and I had such a wonderful time reading this book together! The illustrations are just beautiful, and I’m sure reading it in a physical copy would make the experience even more special! X really connected with the story—it took him back to his much younger days when he was just like Pip, completely lost in a book and unable to look away. Sometimes, his friends at the kids' club would tease him a bit for being such a bookworm, but it never really bothered him. Then, one day, X decided to share what he’d been reading, and guess what? He found a new book buddy! It was such a fun moment, and we both loved it!
Thank you, NetGalley and Tiger Tales for ARC. All opinions are my own.

It is a perfect read for those who enjoy emotionally resonant tales that span a variety of themes, tones, and moods. Emerson’s ability to craft engaging and memorable narratives makes this collection a delightful and fulfilling experience for any reader who loves stories that not only entertain but also make them think.
