psychological thriller follows a group of High School friends, Brooke, the main character, throws a party at her beach house and one of her friends dies in an accident. Brooke receives threats later from “unknown number”. The threats become more frequent.
Once the kids get acceptance letters from universities, they decide to throw a party to celebrate Ivy Day at one of their guy friend’s houses. Brooke leaves the party with her best friend to make it home by curfew and they are followed by a vehicle. She receives more threats on the 90 minute drive home. The twist in this book is unpredictable and is an addicting fast read to find the truth!
I’ve enjoyed reading books by this author. Her stories are unpredictable and addicting every time!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for access to this book in exchange for my honest review.
I love a good thriller and this was definitely good. I really didn’t see the ending coming. Maybe I am just gullible lol. The narrator did a fantastic job at keeping you invested. Highly recommend! It’s a quick and easy read.

As a reader, I was completely hooked by Megan Lally’s No Place Left to Hide. This YA thriller is an absolute page-turner that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.
The story follows Brooke Goodwin, a high school student with a mysterious past “incident” that haunts her. After getting into Yale, she attends a beach party with her best friend Jena, which quickly spirals into a heart-pounding chase filled with unexpected twists.
What makes this book exceptional is its intense pacing and jaw-dropping revelations. The narrative is so gripping that I couldn’t put it down, finishing it in just a few hours. The characters are deliciously problematic - none are truly likable, but that’s what makes the story so compelling.
The ending is absolutely mind-blowing. Without spoiling anything, I can confidently say I never saw the twists coming. Lally masterfully keeps you guessing, with revelations that will leave you stunned.
Thank you #netgalley

This was another smooth ride of twists from Megan Lally. I enjoyed the book and was listening intently to know what was going to happen and who was behind everything. Some of the twists I sort of predicted but some came out of no where. It was a quick listen and good listen. So far I have enjoyed every book from Megan Lally and look forward to more from her.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read No Place Left To hide by Megan Lally! This book was a roller coaster ride for me. For a positive I liked the idea of what this book could have been but the way it was created just wasn’t for me personally. I hated every single character in the book and I just wish I had one character to root for in the story. I get high schoolers can be dumb and wild at times but I feel like the author over exaggerated how dumb and reckless teenagers are and it was frustrating me throughout the book. I would still read from this author again because I’ve heard amazing things about her other book she wrote and I don’t want to let one bad book decide all of her books for me. Thank you once again NetGalley for letting me read No Place Left To Hide!💕📚

Really great! Kept me guessing and made me wonder if the main character was reliable! The twists and turns were great and while some were a bit predictable they still left me shocked. I am not sure if this was inspired by true events but there are some true events that this reminded me of. I liked the narrator of the audiobook! I could definitely see this turned into a movie!

“No Place To Hide” is fast paced. Never a dull moment. Solid read. I do prefer the author’s debut “That’s Not My Name” but I would totally recommend this one to a teen or just to someone who enjoys young adult novels. Now some things were far fetched in the book BUT I like that. Reminds me of the Telenovelas I watch with my mom!
3 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to NetGalley and RBmedia for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a good job. I really enjoyed the author's debut novel but this one fell flat for me. This book was predictable from start to finish. The pacing was good, but it lacked suspense and I didn't love or root for a single character so it was hard for me to get invested.

3.75 stars rounded up. I felt like this book was a little slow in some places and there was a lot of high school drama. Overall, I enjoyed the book. It had several twists that kept me wanting to read, and I wasn't expecting the ending.

YALL!!! Just go buy this book right now. I am officially a Megan Lally stan forever. I read That’s Not My Name last month and my jaw was on the floor the whole time. I got approved for this book and the audio for it and I was so excited to jump in. I read this while listening to it and when I tell you the twists and turns will take you for a ride I’m not kidding. I was very impressed by the narrator for the book. The voice changes for each character did the book justice and I was sooo glad for it!! Now to the actual story; this book has some twists and turns you won’t see coming. The whole time I was on my toes. I listened to parts at the gym and I had people coming up asking what I was listening to because of my facial expressions 😂
This book follows Brooke to a party after getting into her dream university which her best friend dragged her to. She didn’t want to go until she found out her dream guy was there. Brooke had an “incident” the year before and this story follows that time line as well. Everything seems fine at the parties but you just never know what’s going to happen. If you love thrillers then I highly recommend running to get this book right now!!
Thank you NetGalley, Megan Lally, Sourcebooks, and RB Media for a copy of this ARC and ALC!

Brooke was once the epitome of popularity at her high school, effortlessly charming her classmates with her radiant smile and outgoing personality. However, everything changed after a mysterious incident during the summer break. Since then, she has withdrawn from the social scene, no longer the vibrant social butterfly she used to be.
Beneath her composed exterior lies a heavy burden—she is concealing a deep, dark secret that haunts her, one she believes nobody is aware of. Just when Brooke thought she could keep her past buried, she starts receiving unsettling messages from a stalker. The sender insists that she must come forward and reveal the truth about what happened.
As paranoia begins to creep in, she finds herself questioning who could possibly know the details of her secret, and whether anyone she once considered a friend could be behind these messages. The tension builds as she navigates a world where trust has become scarce, and the shadow of her past looms ever larger.

This was a great sophomore novel. I was glad to see that Lally was able to duplicate the tension and thrilling twist of "That's Not My Name" with a new story behind it.
I didn't love how much suspension of disbelief was necessary--there's no such thing as a tapped bumper at 90mph, and I would have loved at least a partial reason sooner as to why Brooke wasn't able to bring problems like these to authorities, or at least her parents. However, despite those things, I couldn't stop turning the pages. The fear, intrigue, drama, and suspense all came together in a wonderfully entertaining YA thriller.

Unfortunately this was a miss for me. I think it was the narrator. I much preferred Sophie Amoss in Lally's last book to this narrator. It didn't flow, felt fragmented. I don't want to give the book a poor rating over the narrator but they missed the mark on this one.

Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing the audio in exchange for an honest review.
YA thrillers are a hit or miss for me, especially because I get turned off if there's a romance subplot. Yet, I was excited to read this one because I loved Megan Lally's first book, 'That's Not My Name'. So, I went in blind.
The book is fast-paced and kept me guessing what happened that night. The chapters alternate between past and present, told from a third-person narrative. The last chapter and twist is too good. I loved it.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this title for my honest review. I listened to the audiobook and liked the narration. The storyline flowed well and had some surprising twists and turns. I was invested early in the story and didn’t want to stop listening. I found myself wide eyed at some surprising moments. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable mystery that I would recommend.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC opportunity!
I really enjoyed this story. It had the perfect amount of back and forth in timeline to keep you guessing. I started to catch on to Jenna half way through the chase scene, but that was the point. Once i connected those dots, the rest made sense too.
The ending was perfect too. It left it open for interpretation on if they continue to get away with it or not, but lets be honest. We know they did.
This was a fun ride!

While I really loved Lally's debut, I struggled with this one. To be fair, I 100% picked it up on the strength of her previous book, even though this premise didn't appeal to me in the slightest. So I might just be the wrong audience.
What didn't work for me was how unlikable, unsympathetic, and uncompelling I found the main character. The majority of the book is from her POV and she annoyed me from the start. A rich, privileged girl who manipulates people to maintain her privilege? Getting all worked up over a high school boy she's crushing on? Very unrelatable to me, at every stage of my life.
I still very recommend her debut, if you get a chance!

No Place Left to Hide is a delicious young adult mystery. Presenting a perfect image is difficult and parental pressures are exhausting. Five stars!
The narrator was great!

I have to be honest, I felt let down by this one. I was so excited for this second novel by this author. There were so many moments of intense suspense so I gave it 3 stars. But unfortunately for me there were too many plot holes.

Thank you to NetGalley and RBmedia for the Review Copy of this Audiobook.
How far will you go to protect your image and to get what you want? What happens when someone thinks they know the truth and are set on making sure everyone else knows too?
For me, this was a 'page turner' to find out what was going to happen. However it was a little predictable to me. I didn't see part of it coming, but predicted another part. (No spoilers). Narrator was great given character age, etc. Would recommend this one.
