What Lies Beyond the Veil was a very captivating read for me and was recommended by a friend not too long ago as she absolutely loved the series. What initially drew me in was the historical Fae aspect of the book as well as the underlying romantic themes that get stronger throughout the book. This book is a very strong romantic, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I would’ve rated the book higher, but I felt like there was a lot of information that didn’t necessarily need to be added, which just made the book longer. If you can get past that then definitely give this series a try - the romantic build up is fantastic!
