Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!
This is just such a cute webtoon! I love it so much!
The art style is beautiful. It is easy to read and get into.
I was laughing out loud at so many parts. The author has a great sense of humor!
I love Siren and Kappa together and separately as their own characters.
Skiff is so adorable as well! I loved how he helped Siren and continues to be a good person.
The queen’s Krilli and Nee were such a great addition to the cast of characters. I would love to see more of them! They had me laughing at all of their scenes.
I never really got upset with Siren’s mom, even though people have a right to be. I understand the love she has for Siren. Seklie is hilarious though, her character always makes me laugh as well.
It had a little bit of a twist that I wasn’t expecting, which was cool for a mostly lighthearted webtoon.
I cannot wait to read more of this when the next volume comes out!

Special thanks to NetGalley and Clarkson Potter/Ten Speed Press for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a super cute follow up to Volume 1 and I liked the character progression. The artwork is well done, the story is entertaining, and the characters are adorable. I look forward to the next installment.

I loved it! I will add my full review the week of publication, per the publisher’s request.
Thank you NetGalley and Clarkson Potter/Ten Speed Press for the ARC!

This is a great continuation of the series! We learned more about the prophecy and get to see Kappa and Siren's relationship evolve deeper :) All they want to do is be free from all these prophecies, I can't wait for volume 3!
Thank you NetGalley for allowing me this opportunity to read and review this book early.

This is such a wonderful follow up to the first book I loved the growth of characters, the suspense, and the big plot twist. I'd read 100 more volumes of this.

This comic is too cute. Siren and Kappa are such dorks. The queens Nee and Krilli are so silly. I hope they all meet again!

Castle Swimmer is back, and this one is just as good as the first book. The art is beautifully drawn and brings all the characters to life, along with the sea life we encounter. In this story, things are revealed, and characters are hurt. We see the characters grow into their own individuals instead of the roles assigned to them. I can't wait to see what awaits them in future books as they continue growing and discover what's out in the world for them.

This story keeps getting better and better! I enjoyed the addition of Queen Krilli and Queen Nee. I hope to see more of them and other queens in future volumes. There was a good balance of silliness in this emotional story. I didn’t see what was coming! That’s saying something because I’m usually really good at guessing. I can’t wait to see what adventures Kappa and Siren go on next.

I loved this sequel! I received volume one as an ARC as well and loved it, and this was an excellent follow up. The characters are so interesting, the plot was exciting and had a twist, and the art is gorgeous!!

Thank you to NetGalley and Ten Speed Press for the e-arc!
Castle Swimmer was one of my fav webtoon reads of last year and I am glad to see the second volume on NetGalley. The story so far is very thrilling and I've been enjoying the relationship between the main two as it is developing. I think this series shines the most in its plot and if you decide to check it out you will not be disappointed. I will continue to keep reading this series as I can't wait to see how this epic tale will conclude.

kappa and siren are back and more adorable than ever. the second volume of castle swimmer picks up where the first left off, with siren searching for a way to save kappa, and covers the second half of their time in the castle as their relationship evolves and they learn about a twist in the prophecy that brought them together.
i just love this series. it’s the perfect escapist read—sweet and heartfelt and beautifully illustrated—and i’m always left wanting more. kappa and siren inspire each other to want more out of life than their preordained destinies, and i’m looking forward to their adventures outside the castle in (i hope!) the next volume.

Thank you, NetGalley, for the opportunity to read Castle Swimmer Volume Two by Wendy Martin.
Volume two further deepens the relationship between Kappa and Siren, continuing the slow burn. The art style and vibrant colors add to the beauty of the experience.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC in exchange for my honest review!
I read vol 1 of this last April and it was very easy for me to remember what happened last volume. Siren and Kappa were adorable and I love all the shark folks and their loyalty to Siren. The way they treated him is so sweet. This story is both cute and heartbreaking and I’m really enjoying the progression. I hope they break this curse!! The thought of the sweet shark people getting hurt makes me so sad!

I absolutely loved this. I became an instant fan since volume one. The artwork is beautiful and the storyline is incredible. I love Kappa and Sirens relationship. And I love the extra bonus chapter at the end of the book you can’t get on webtoon!

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!
I can't get enough of Castle Swimmer. Volume 2 did not disappoint and the artwork is incredible. I love how the relationship between Kappa and Siren as evolved and the new team that has gotten together to help Kappa escape. Everything WebToon has published has been a hit at my library and I will continue to purchase Castle Swimmer series along with many others. Plus there is a bonus chapter!
The sharks still want Kappa dead but Siren is determined to save him, even if that means from his own mother, Queen Susca. Two neighboring queens arrive to reach an alliance and they may be just the help Siren needs to get Kappa to safety.

This second volume has pleased me just as much, if not more, than the first one. The story is very easy to follow, everything is well explained. I have greatly enjoyed it. Moreover, it’s a story that can appeal to both older readers and younger ones as well. For now, I will continue with it

A very wholesome continuation of a series I read a long time ago in its original format. I'm still very glad that this is being traditionally published in print, and it has brought me so much enjoyment as as I've been rereading this series. Wonderful art and writing per usual.

This was a super fun follow-up to volume 1 and made me super excited for the next volume. We got to see more of the budding relationship between Kappa and Siren and we got some resolution to the conflict that was presented in volume 1. The graphics were adorable and I'm very excited for the next part of this story.

"Castle Swimmer: Volumer 2" is the second in the Castle Swimmer YA graphic novel series by Wendy Martin. Kappa, the Beacon, is still captured by the shark kingdom, but Prince Siren keeps postponing killing him. They learned that they have things in common and have formed a friendship (and maybe more?). When two queens from other kingdoms come to the shark kingdom, Siren sees a way to save Kappa, but will it work? It's sweet to see Siren and Kappa's relationship grow and to learn more about the other sharks. You do need to have read the first novel to fully understand the sequel. The illustrations are bright and colorful and add to the humor of the graphic novel. A highly recommended purchase for YA graphic novel collections.
