Three Little Lies was a really great read & a very clever & unique plotline; a psychological thriller based around student foreign exchange. While it did start off at a slower pace than I generally like it was still a very engaging read & never lost my attention.
This was a really well written story with well developed characters, its packed full of suspense & tension & I was constantly on edge reading it, in the best way. Twist after twist & plenty of red herrings, every time I thought I had it figured out I was proved wrong. This is not just a thriller it's also a pretty thought-provoking read, delving into family, loyalty & the impact of secrets.
This is a perfect read for fans of psychological/domestic thrillers with love a shock twist/ending.

Wow.
Jo may or may not be a helicopter parent however, she just wants to do whatever it takes to keep her family happy and her children safe. Her and her husband Everett are experiencing a rough patch, and she knows he is hiding something from her. This book is one of those you start reading and you think you have it all figured out but in the blink of an eye there is an unexpected twist and you're in for a wild ride. What you think is a simple date night in efforts to fix a marriage turns into much much more. The twists and turns kept me reading and invested in what happens next. There is the perfect mix of drama, deceit, murder and lies and I loved that! Despite what Everette did or could have done, Jo will do whatever it takes to keep her family whole.
A nice quick read that is fast paced and hooks you from the very beginning.
Thank you Bookouture, Danielle Stewart and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Three Little Lies by Danielle Stewart is an engaging and suspenseful read that kept me hooked from the beginning. The story revolves around deep secrets, trust, and betrayal, all wrapped in a fast-paced narrative. The characters are well-developed and the story follows the perspectives of Jo and Eden. Stewart does a great job creating tension and building mystery throughout the book, keeping you guessing until the end, I wanted to know all of the lies!
This was my first read of Stewart’s and I look forward to reading more! Thank you NetGalley and Danielle Stewart for the opportunity to read.

Thank you Netgalley, Bookouture and Danielle Stewart for the e Arc of Three Little lies.
My first book from Danielle Stewart and I was not disappointed! I found Three Little Lies well written with a great plot which combined some great character development. The plot line was engaging and while having a few theories along the way, Danielle sprinkles some great foreshadowing which allows you to let the book unfold. The finale wasn't what I was expecting so I found the ending really refreshing,
Penelope Rawlins narrated this book which I also listened to. Penelope has a great voice which suits this type of thriller with great pacing and a story teller voice.
4 stars

Three Little Lies is an explosive thriller written by USA Today Best Selling Author, Danielle Stewart. Enveloped in suspenseful drama and set in a dark, eerie tone, Three Little Lies is perfect for any thriller fan. A perfectionist, Jo is obsessive when it comes to keeping her family safe, and not without good reason. Jo didn’t have the best upbringing; with alcoholic parents, her home life was nothing short of dysfunctional. When her foreign exchange student Eden moves in, Jo's patience is tested to its limit. And sometimes she could swear that Eden does these things on purpose. Or it could just be her paranoid, controlling self over-exaggerating– it's been known to happen. And yet something just doesn’t add up with the girl... Jo is thrown even more off-kilter when she makes some unsettling discoveries– could they be linked to Eden? But then there's the threatening letters she’s been receiving for years. Have the chickens finally come home to roost? And how can she keep her family from suffering the consequences? One thing’s for sure, though– Jo is willing to go to the extremes for her loved ones, even if it means murder.
Deliciously captivating with characters who have sinister secrets they would do anything to keep hidden, Three Little Lies offers readers the best of the best in psychological thrillers. Maintaining the book’s dark and foreboding tone, Danielle lures the readers in and holds them captive inside her tight web of suspense. The main character, Jo, could be forgiven for her indescrepencies, and her devotion to her loved ones is heartbreaking, but despite the good reasoning behind the things we do, the past always has a way of catching up, doesn’t it? The story’s plot and rapid twist after twist were exhilarating, and I couldn’t wait to reach its conclusion; the book’s unpredictability was definitely top hat. Three Little Lies did not disappoint and is well-deserving of its 5-star rating and I highly recommend it.

First book by this author and I enjoyed it. It was a little slow in parts, but then it picked up. I will read more by her.

Amazing from start to finish. Absolutely loved this one. Packed with twists I did not see coming. A brilliant story, expertly told.

This was such a great psychological thriller! The twists just kept coming, and so many I didn’t see coming at all. I was hooked from start to finish and really enjoyed the ride. I’d definitely read more from Danielle Stewart after this one!

I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this from #netgalley and #bookouture. I binged this story in one seating. My mouth jaw dropped a few times throughout the story. My husband kept laughing at me because I was having such a fun time with this read. I can't wait to pick up more by this author.
You are following a couple who take in a foreign exchange student. Odd events start happening that raise red flags for one of the mc that makes them question everything and anything. Be prepared to open the book and not close it until you are done reading it. HAPPY READING!!!

Danielle Stewart delivers an intriguing and emotional thriller with Three Little Lies. The story weaves together mystery, family drama, and suspense in a way that keeps you hooked. The characters are well-developed, and their secrets unfold at a satisfying pace.
I particularly enjoyed the way Stewart builds tension—each revelation adds another layer to the mystery, making it hard to put the book down. However, there were moments when the pacing slowed a bit, and I wished for a bit more intensity in certain scenes.
Overall, it’s a compelling read with strong character development and a solid plot. Not quite perfect, but definitely worth picking up!

Three Little Lies by Danielle Stewart is an intense and gripping psychological thriller that will have readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The story revolves around a woman caught in the web of her husband’s lies, and how these lies slowly unravel their seemingly perfect life. What starts as a romantic date night with her husband quickly turns into a nightmare as one lie after another sends their marriage spiraling into chaos.
The first lie sets the stage for the unraveling of their relationship. The second lie is even more damaging, leaving the protagonist wondering if she can ever forgive him. But when a third, much darker lie surfaces—one that threatens their entire family—her world is shattered. As police lights flash and blood is discovered in their garage, the protagonist is faced with the horrifying reality that her husband may have committed a crime. In a shocking twist, she finds herself torn between her loyalty to her family and the terrifying truth about the man she married.
Stewart expertly builds tension and suspense, keeping readers guessing with each page. The twists are unpredictable and the stakes couldn’t be higher, making for a thrilling ride that doesn’t let up. The emotional complexity of the protagonist’s struggle, particularly as she grapples with the conflict between protecting her family and facing the horrifying truth, adds depth to the story.

Three Little Lies takes a seemingly ordinary scenario - a family hosting a foreign exchange student - and spins it into an unsettling thriller that keeps you second-guessing every interaction. Jo never planned on taking in a student, but when she’s cornered by a persuasive fellow mom, she reluctantly agrees. Eden, a 17-year-old girl from England, seems eager and charming, but something about her doesn’t quite add up. As small, inexplicable incidents start piling up, Jo begins to wonder: did she just invite danger into her home?
This book does an excellent job of building suspense. Told from both Jo and Eden’s perspectives, it plays with perception and trust, making you question who is telling the truth and what they might be hiding. The writing is fast-paced, keeping the tension high without unnecessary filler.
That said, there were a few aspects that didn’t fully land for me. The portrayal of law enforcement felt exaggerated at times, and certain plot elements - like the mysterious notes - seemed underdeveloped, as if they were meant to be more significant but didn’t quite tie into the larger narrative. Also, Jo’s decision-making could be frustrating; she’s painted as intelligent, yet some of her choices contradict that image, making it harder to connect with her.
Despite these minor gripes, Three Little Lies delivers a gripping and original premise with plenty of twists to keep readers engaged. If you enjoy domestic thrillers with a creeping sense of unease, this one is definitely worth picking up.

Thank you NetGalley for an early copy of this book. When Jo agrees to take in an exchange student, Eden, for 6 weeks, she doesn’t know what she is truly signing up for. As more issues arise, things become tense in the house. When Eden goes missing and blood is found in the garage, Jo doesn’t know who to trust. Great story with a twist I didn’t see coming!

Done reading!!! What a ride! I was surprised by how captivating the story was, it had my heart pounding
It is a story about a family who took in a foreign exchange student from England, with the hopes that this high performing student would have a positive influence on the children particularly the daughter, instead it led to the unveiling of secrets that threatens to read the family apart.
The story was very captivating with many take away lessons for me especially about being an extremely anxious helicopter mom who worries about everything and is bent on being in control of everything concerning her children and family.
It is an 8/10 and Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced copy of this book.

This is a wonderful edge of your seat type of thriller. And it was just what I needed. I highly recommend.

Thank you Netgalley and Danielle Stewart for an arc in exchange for honest review.
This was a doozy. Jo is a helicopter mom with two children and a workaholic husband. When she’s presented with the opportunity to host an exchange student for six weeks, she’s thrilled, hoping it will bring her closer to her preteen daughter, with whom she’s recently had issues. Little does Jo know, the exchange student will be more than she bargained for when she suddenly disappears.
I was intrigued by the premise and felt drawn into the book right away. However, over time, it started to feel like a chore to pick up and became repetitive. The twists at the end were decent, and I did enjoy the ending for the FMCs, but overall, it didn’t fully deliver for me.

Wow, Three Little Lies was a fantastic read- there was something about it that had me glued to the book till I finished it. I love the way Danielle Stewart wrote the story, I thought I had the storyline sussed from the beginning but was proven completely wrong.
Jo is a stay at home mum to her teenage daughter Megan and son Aston. She’s spent her adult life making the most perfect family home life whilst protecting her son from his life threatening allergies and dealing with her daughter’s incessant jabs along with a husband who works away a lot. When a call for help comes from a school mum who volunteers for an exchange program, Jo takes on an exchange student from the U.K.
From the day Eden arrives, Jo has her work cut out and even more when Eden goes missing and her husband gets arrested. There was so much drama and suspense in one book, I struggled to put it down. The ending took the biggest turn which I really wasn’t expecting.

This book started off interesting but then dragged on, only for the second half to feel rushed with too much happening at once. It’s a well-written and enjoyable domestic thriller, but for some reason, it didn’t wow me - making it just an okay read.

Wow! This book pulled me in straight away and it definitely didn’t go where I thought it would! I loved the twists and turns throughout, it was dark and also sad and without any spoilers I absolutely loved the ending! This one ticked all the boxes for me. First time reading this author and I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more of her books!

Is this book reinventing the thriller genre? Nope. But did I devour it like my favorite guilty pleasure? Absolutely! Sometimes, a well-executed thriller is exactly what you need—and this one delivers.
Meet Jo: a stay-at-home, helicopter mom just trying to keep up with her tween daughter, Megan, and protect her young son, Ashton, who has severe food allergies. Meanwhile, her husband, Everette, is a classic workaholic—home just enough to be the "fun parent," leaving Jo stuck as the bad cop. And to make things worse? He seems to enjoy it. Yikes.
Desperate for some backup (or at least a break from being the villain), Jo signs up for an exchange student program. Enter Eden—a girl no one wants to host because of her severe food allergies. But hey, Jo already runs a practically double-kitchen setup, so why not? She’s hopeful that Eden’s arrival will help restore some balance in their home. Spoiler: Eden has *very* different plans.
This book is packed with unlikable characters, deliciously messy drama, and jaw-dropping twists. Some early reveals I saw coming, but those later plot turns? Total blindsides (in the best way). The red herrings kept me guessing, and by the end, I was fully invested! Also, the last bit actually had me teary eyed a bit.
Fast-paced, addictive, and packed with tension, this was such a fun ride. Highly recommend!
Thank you, NetGalley and Bookouture, for this ARC!
