Loving You Always by Kennedy Ryan is one absolutely amazing, page turning read. I Couldn't put it down for a second.
A Page turning read.
I read this book in one day. I couldn't put it down. I was dying to know what was going to happen between Kerris, Cam and Walsh. They had all been through so much in the first book, and it doesn't let up in this one. It is a rollercoaster of a ride. Very emotional and heart-wrenching one moment, then uplifting and hopeful the next. I don't want to get into the plot, because there isn't any real good way to talk about it without spoilers. I know if you've read When You Were Mine, that you are wondering what happens next. I think you should get right on that and start reading Loving You Always. If you haven't read When You Were Mine, stop. Read it. Then come back and continue this exceptional story with Loving You Always. Loved every bit of it! It had me tearing up, getting mad, laughing with joy and sighing with relief.
Overall I liked this one a little bit better than the first book. At the end of the last book we were in a "you made your bed, now lay in it" situation for everyone. There was some drama that seemed a little contrived but I enjoyed it. I liked the action it added to the story. When the dust settled I liked that Kerris wanted to take the time to work on herself. Walsh mostly respected that, but he just annoyed me the whole book. I don't like overly alpha males and he just came on soooo strong. I know, I know, he's been waiting years for his moment, but let the girl respect what was left of her marriage enough to wait until the divorce was final! I left this book not liking Cam very much and I see that he gets a book and will likely be redeemed but I'm not sure that I care enough about his character to read it. I craved more character depth and emotional attachment from this series but was left feeling shorted.
Kennedy Ryan you rock! I seriously couldn't put this book down. Kerris and Walsh's story is such a roller coaster of emotions. I love when a story can make me laugh, cry, leave me on the edge of my seat, have me hating characters and loving them at the same time. I love Walsh Bennett!! I love a man that will fight for what he wants and not give up no matter what. I did feel sorry for Cam a little bit, but he knew what he was getting into and did it anyway to spite Walsh. The best part for me is that Kerris and Walsh have their happily ever after. I would love to know more of their story even just a snippet in the next book. #teamwalsh
Clarity….indecision…..trust…..doubt……so many emotions that hold a piece of the marriage between Kerris and Cam. At a time when this young couple should be enjoying the love surrounding their marriage, the reality of a third wheel in their marriage shakes the foundation that their marriage should have been built upon.
Loving someone should be easy….shouldn’t it? Kerris struggles with the way Cam is always hot and cold with his feelings. A repercussion to what Cam witnessed between Walsh and Kerris. Now the two find themselves struggling with the feelings that one moment have caused. Adding to the insecurities, Cam and Kerris are about to become parents. Something that should be the happiest moment in their lives. Kerris is struggling with Cam’s outbursts and aversion to even being in the same room as her. Through it all, Kerris still thinks about the one person who haunts her dreams.
So many forks in the road where another path should have been taken. An indecision that will have grave consequences for Kerris’ heart. The road that this triad will travel will be rocky and riddled with potholes. Which one of these men will Keirra finally love with everything that she has?
Have you discovered the world of The Bennetts? First let me say – I love a good love triangle. One that is written in a way that is so engaging, the words compel you to dive deeper into the abyss. Kennedy Ryan has taken a romance that isn’t your ‘typical’ run of the mill love story and spun the tale in a way that is fitting for any lover of romantic novels.
What you find between the pages is a story about convictions, indecision, and the path that leads you to finding your soul mate. No one ever said finding love was easy. For Walsh, Kerris, and Cam – that lone statement is the reality that shapes everything that these friends would endure. Get ready for a devotion so pure that time and temptation cannot thwart its tendrils.
Nothing prepared me for the sublime and utter rightness and joy that Loving You Always brought to this series. It was the morning after the deepest darkness you ever experienced. When I found my heart being mended and cherish, I was completely shocked. This incredible story was able to heal the wounds created by the first book in this amazing series. When I view both stories back to back, I can see how a simple decision can change the course of so many lives around us. Our actions don’t stop with our own life. They reverberate out beyond out little part of this world and makes waves that impact those around us. Our decisions can’t be made in a vacuum or based on one-sided information, or they will wreck more havoc then one person can possibly make in a lifetime. Heaven can be borne from the darkest depths of Hell if we allow ourselves the chance to let hope and love infiltrate our life instead of creating walls to keep them out. They can rebuild a new Earth if we could only allow them that power.
When life deals a devastating tragedy to Kerris, she is left with a crucial decision. Will she let love and hope into her life, or will she continue to leave her heart rot in the despair of what she has left? She is so blind to the power she has to greatly impact those around her that she has come to deeply love and cherish. One simple decision will once again change the course of her life. One last chance to make things right and start living again. Can Kerris fix what she helped to destroy, or will a second poor choice raze what’s left of those that touch her life?
Kennedy Ryan continues to amaze and astonish me with her brilliant story writing and inspiring creativity. I look forward to the next book in this extraordinary series! This story just keeps getting better and better while it heals and nurtures my soul right along with these outstanding characters.
