How does an adorable meet cute, turn into food poisoning and then a HEA? It is just a cute, sweet story of an unassuming midwest girl and a smoking for football star.. the narrators brought this very fun story to life. Thank you for the opportunity to listen

After an epic meet cute Not Your Biggest Fan is a romcom that kept me giggling. Andy and Harlow's story continues on as lighthearted read that I expect from this author. Between their banter and the side characters I enjoyed reading their story!

While this audio wasn't one of my favorites I did still enjoy the listen. Looking forward to more in this series!

If you like sports romcoms this book is for you. The main characters were likeable, it starts with a meetcute and overall the story gave you a nice vibe. I like more of a slowburn for romance and it felt a little bit rushed to me, nonetheless I liked it and would recommend for those looking for a nice romance. 3.5/5 ⭐️

This was a fun dual POV sports romance between a football player and the woman he meets while in gastronomic distress. It has a hilarious meet-disaster, is SUPER spicy, fun side characters and features a smart dating app developer FMC who knows nothing about sports and has no idea the cute guy she met is a NFL pro free agent. Good on audio and perfect for fans of authors like Piper Rayne, Connor Crais and Kayley Loring. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review!

Not Your Biggest Fan is some lighthearted, feel good fun.
Harlow is in NYC for her job and just loves the city. Apparently she has even become quite the food truck connoisseur. When standing in line waiting to order her food, she hears the gentleman in front of her ordering chicken. And after the experience she has had, she feels obligated to tell him her little secret. When he doesn't listen, she makes a bet with him. But what are the chances that she will even see him again to see if she has won the bet?

OMG! This meet-cute was so fun and I loved hearing Harlow just tell it like it is. She had no qualms giving her opinion to the good looking man ordering up the chicken. Was it a little unbelievable that these two would meet up again and she could cash in on the bet? Absolutely. But it was fun, over the top, a little TMI and just enough uncomfortableness to make it funny and quirky.

Andy lost the bet and lo and behold, he actually finds the woman that just inserted herself into his food ordering quite refreshing. Something he doesn't see a lot in his line of work. Because he's a top NFL player and people just fawn all over him. Luckily, Harlow has no clue who he is and he takes full advantage of that knowledge and has a "normal day" with her, just enjoying one another's company. But when their one day is up, he wants more. She thinks it's impossible because they live across the country from on another. Harlow is in for quite the surprise.

I'm not alway a fan of insta love/lust, but certain authors and the way they write can make it work. Sara Ney made it quirky, fun and totally enjoyable while also giving us just enough steam between the characters. I loved that Harlow was a no nonsense sort of character that was honest and could spar with Andy back and forth. She told him like it is and he needed someone like that in his life. Their banter and connection is what made this whole insta relationship work. I'm a sucker for sports romance and adore quirky characters. I liked the way these two balanced one another out, but also....the supporting characters really added to their story. From their parents, to Harlow's friends, they really added that extra spark to their whole story.

As for the audio, it was good. I give major props to the female narrator (Felicity Cross) and think she really brought Harlow to life. I enjoyed listening to her and her male voices. She was the plus on this performance. But, the male narrator (Alexander Cendese) was not my favorite. For me, he sounded too comedic for a football player. It just didn't fit. With that said, this IS a romcom, so in that aspect, he did his job and brought the comedy. He definitely fit that mold. Thank goodness the story itself was still fun and entertaining.

Overall, a nice lighthearted romcom that is fast paced and can easily be read or listened to in a day.
3.75 star for actual story. / 3 star for narration

This one was a quick a easy read. Their 'meet cute' was so funny and very unexpected. Whilst I did enjoy the concept of 'secretly famous', some of the writing was a bit cringe for me and Harlow, that is classic SN though so it's not a major flaw. If you want someone light and fluffy with some decent spice you would like this one. Also Big Steve was truly an icon if I do say so myself.

I really enjoyed this book, I loved the meet cute and the banter between Andy and Harlow! This book was a lot of fun. It did feel a bit rushed at the end and could’ve had more of a conflict. I am excited to see where the rest of the series goes!

This was definitely one of the funniest meet-cutes I have ever read. I love the humor that Sara brings to her books. I can always count on a lighthearted read and something to bring a smile to my face. Harlow meets Andy in line at a food truck in NYC. As luck would have it, they run into one another again (poor guy) at the hotel they both happen to be staying at. What were the chances? Some might say it was Kismet... but I digress.
They end up going on a day date to tour around NYC the next day. Harlow has no idea that he is a professional football player and thinks he is just unemployed. Andy likes that Harlow has no idea who he isn't and doesn't like him just for the fame and what his name can bring her. He likes that she is down to earth and can be himself around her. When their one day ends, he really isn't ready to give her up.
Harlow doesn't think she will see him again, but Andy has other plans. Those plans involve not letting her go.
I enjoyed Harlow and Andy's interactions with their parents and liked how they were so involved in their lives. I also loved the group chat with friends because, we know our besties know all the details about things before anyone else does!
Thanks to Brilliance, Netgalley and Sara for an early copy.

This book delivers witty banter and a fun opposites attract romance. Small town entrepreneur Harlow James crosses paths with NFL free agent Andy Burke during a chance food truck encounter, sparking a playful bet and an electrifying weekend fling. Back home, Harlow focuses on her dating app and life with her dad and corgi, but Andy isn’t ready to let her go. Narrators Felicity Cross and Alexander Cendese perfectly embody Harlow and Andy, capturing the charm and humor of their dynamic. If you're in the mood for a witty sports romance, this one deserves a spot on your TBR!

This was a really fun audiobook to listen to and I especially enjoyed the meet cute. "Andy" and Harlow have a playful kind of chemistry and while I'm usually a fan of instalove, it worked in this story. Harlow's dad adds a second dash of humor and this love story is a light, quick, easy read that leaves you smiling.

First a note on the narration:
Both narrators did a good job with what they were given.
The characters were one dimensional and not really anything to be desired.

I have read one other Sara Ney book and now I can safely say she is not an author for me. The FMC was not likable, and was actually quite irritating with her personality. This makes me feel mean, but honestly I was cringing so much.

What I did enjoy was the setting of the book - its not often that you get a book focused on the frozen tundra and talking about the Green Bay Packers.

Not Your Biggest Fan is a laugh out loud book that will have you crying. Harlow meets Andy standing in line at a food truck while at Central Park. Harlow warns him not to get the chicken, however Andy ignores her advice and eats the chicken. This is a start of whirlwind of a friendship/relationship. Harlow lives in Green Bay and Andy lives in Seattle where Harlow believes that Andy is in between gigs. Harlow is working on her dating app and it is almost ready to be launched. Andy is a pro football player and is a free agent. Harlow has no idea who Andy is and Andy is loving it. He can be himself around Harlow and can't get her out of his head. Now Andy is wondering if Green Bay is where he should sign with. I was laughing out loud while listening to this audiobook . I loved the chemistry between Harlow and Andy and how down to earth Andy was. I would like to thank both NetGalley and Brillance Audio for letting me listen to an advanced copy of this audiobook.

The narrators made the story even more enjoyable. The funny banter was more enjoyable.

A chance meeting and not so cute follow up set Harlow and Landon(Andy) on a laugh filled journey to HEA.

Landon Burke, the football star, meets Harlow James, the small town girl next door. She has no idea who he is and Landon finds that he liked just being Andy. They do normal dates and have fun. She is straight forward and honest with him. It’s a breath of fresh air after his last few girlfriends. Landon falls fast and hard for Harlow. He is all in.

Harlow was funny and a tad clueless. Sweet, down to earth and caring. She is very outspoken.

The story is fun with great characters. Extra points for Mama Burke and Bog Steve! The friend group is also good for laughs.

I really struggled with this one. I typically love football romances, but this one was just not doing it for me. It starts off with Harlow, who is a dating app developer, and Andy, who is a football player meeting at a street food cart in NYC. Andy gets food poisoning, and the descriptions of this were way too much for me. After that rough start, the book did not improve. Andy is so full of himself, and I found him insufferable. The male narrator's female voice was awful. I couldn't listen to it. It was way too much. Overall, I was hoping for a fun story, but instead, I got a story that never really drew me in.

i just.....i dont know. Andy was insufferable as a character. THe male narrator made this book a two star not a three. his female voices were so cringey and uncomfortable. Harlowe is the only thing that made this one a two star and not a one.

This was such a fun and light audiobook to listen to. It was just what I needed to get me smiling after a tough day. Both characters were incredibly likable and I couldn't help but cheer them on. I did wonder why it took so long for Harlow to realize who "Andy" was but I think this added to the fun of the story. This was my first Sara Ney book but definitely won't be my last.

This audiobook hooker me right away and I was laughing my ass off. 🤣 I felt this was the most sincere meet cute of a book. I legit could see this happening. This books plays out so nicely and in such a realistic way. I liked the obstacles in the way of the relationship and how they were resolved. I loved the narrators and how well they were paired. I'm excited for the epilogue and the store I hope we get next. Also love the New York and Green Bay shout outs cause those are my two favourite teams.

I had such a great time with this story! The characters were so enjoyable, and their interactions had me laughing out loud. I loved how real they felt and how their personalities shone through in every moment. The chemistry between them was natural and made me care deeply about their journey.

The story itself had a wonderful, light feel to it. It wasn’t heavy, but it still had warmth and depth. The plot flowed easily, and I loved how it balanced humor with sweet, heartfelt moments. The messages between the characters added a nice touch, giving a unique way to show their connections and growth. It was definitely a story that kept me smiling throughout.

This was one of those reads where I did find it cute, fun and enjoyable and entertaining a cute rom com BUT I really couldn't get connected to the story or characters at all.

Andy and Harlow had this meet cute and I did enjoy how Andy fell for Harlow when he least expected it and was busy trying to get his career situation underhand. The banter and text messages were super fun to read as is typical of Sara's books.

I did not feel any chemistry or connection between these two characters. Obviously I wouldn't call it miscommunication or lying but he tried to hide who he was which caused some issues in the story for me.

Again a cute n fun book like Sara typically writes I just couldn't connect . Sara is great at rom com so if you like these tropes it may be a hit for you.
