MacDeath is an easy-to-digest mystery. It's not a particularly complex novel, yet Ivy Meadows is a fun heroine to follow as death unfolds around her. You just don't utter the m-word for the Scottish Play in theatre! I learned that from my actor cousin and sister. What unfolds is a fun romp, and I cannot wait to read more in the series. 4.5 stars.
