There were parts of this book that I did like but there was also a lot that I didn't. The dialogue between characters was very cringe worthy and juvenile. The story is about a high school girl but she is 18 by the end of the story and the way she talks just doesn't fit with how she is described. I like the idea of the novel with the love triangle and how she is moving through life but that's where what I like ends. Additionally be warned that the book does end very abruptly. It is possible that I have just outgrown this type of story as I am now 33 years old but it just wasn't my favorite.

This book shows how pushing boundaries for love can be a good thing! I would recommend to anyone who likes romances.

Sorry hated this book. Ends with a cliff hanger and to dysfunctional for me. I have was married to an abusive alcoholic. Reading books like this put me back in that frame of mind.

I am torn with this. I want to know how things turn out between Nicky and Ryan or Jerry, but the amount of sex is a turn off. It's not my usual style. I like the basis of the relationships with the baseball and volunteer work. I like Nicky. For the most part, she is a strong character. I understand that she has insecurities from her troubles at home, but some of it seems over the top. I will read the rest of the series to find out what happens, but will probably skip over some of the more steamy parts.

I did not get a chance to finish this novel. Based on the description, I was very intrigued and upon reading the story my expectations kind of fell flat. I know for some this might be the kind of romance book theyre looking for but I was expecting something a little different. This novel is in 3rd person POV which I also felt was a problem because I didn't exactly connect with the characters like I wanted too.
