I was pretty excited to start this one - thinking it'd be a interesting mystery. Instead, I was definitely confused most of the time - where I think the author was possibly giving the wrong name a few times only added to my confusion.

I also didn't understand the main character or why she was pulled in to the mystery. I didn't feel pulled in or really understand the friends. The writing style was a bit edgy, using sparse words and being a little jumpy. I just wish I'd loved this more.

I really don't know what to say about this book. The only thing I can think to say is that I just thought the book was boring and I wasn't into the characters or the plot enough to finish the book.

I really tried my best to finish the book but it just doesn't catch my attention at all. I picked it up several times, only to put it down again. In the end, I decided to dnf.

Loved it, reminded me of Sarah Rees Brennan's Unspoken.
