"For so long, I've thought it was just me who's the damaged half of this relationship. I was so wrong. Miller's more broken."

Yes, I know I'm late to the party starting this series. Don't worry, I'm kicking my own ass for not realizing how amazing it is. All I can say at this point is #MindFuckAlert! It's blowing my mind and I'm loving it so hard!

The intense connection between Miller & Livy is so strong that can they tell when the other is near just by how their body reacts. There are so many obstacles in the path of an HEA, which is what both of them yearn for. But, are they doomed to repeat the tragedy of those that have gone before them? Forced to forsake their love for safety? Even if she's willing to risk it all, is he willing to risk her?

This beautifully broken couple will rip your heart out and then put it back together again. I say that not because I know the ending to this story, just because a love so intense must be appreciated regardless. It's what we all dream of, but few have the strength to endure. Will Livy be able to accept every broken part of him or will her fears force her to run...again?

This is the second book in the One Night Series by Jodi Ellen Malpas. This book picks up two weeks after Miller broke Olivia's heart at the hotel.

Olivia is in love with a man she can't have and she regrets ever getting so involved with Miller. Olivia tries her hardest to stay away from Miller but he is not going to have that. Miller knows that Olivia completes him. The connection and need they share is so powerful they are consumed by one another. Olivia finally gives into Miller and knows that she can't fix him but they can work together to make things work if they want to.

Miller finally feels wanted and that is a feet for him. When an outsider threatens his and Olivia's relationship, Miller is so afraid that she is going to leave him. Olivia is willing to fight for her man and she has to deal with all the old girls/women that come out that have been with Miller or known him. Everyone is out to get them seems like. Olivia is a strong woman though and can handle it.

This is a good read. I sort of got annoyed by the back and forth between these two but I am glad I stuck it out and read it. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
