Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Otogi Katsura and Toki Ninomae are hiding their strong and bad personalities at school until they found out each other's secret and from there things got more interesting to follow.

This was a cute manga to read and I liked the illustrtions. I've already read an anthology from Coco Uzuki and I liked it too. Her style is YA cozy shojo manga.

There isn’t much to say. I didn’t like it… like, at all. Can you be more narcissistic and self-absorbed than our main female character? I doubt it. And that constant talk about not showing their “other side” irritated me to no end.
This first volume was more than enough for me.

I was constantly surprised by this story. I loved how these characters are "fake" because they could've been so much worse, but they're just no nonsense really? And only really for each other when it isn't for themselves? I can't wait to see these characters grow both together and separately.

One Direction escribió "They don’t know about us" pensando en ellos.

Beautiful art style and such a cute and fun story! It gave me the feeling of reading old shoujos like Maid-sama, and I absolutely loved it! It also reminded me a little of Horimiya. I feel like it's going to be a really good slow burn. Definitely recommend it!

Thank you for the ARC!

Otogi and Toki are the president and vice president of their class, both of them are known for being really popular, kind and having flawless reputations - they're like angels. However, they both have a hidden side they don't show to anyone. That is, until they discover each other's secrets!
This manga felt like a blend of Horimiya and Kaguya-sama and I had so much fun reading! If you're a fan of those manga and love romcoms you'll probably enjoy this one as well.
The story was fun, the characters are likeable and I found myself laughing multiple times. I really like Coco Uzuki's art style, it's so pretty and cute! I love the dynamic between Otogi and Toki and I already want more of them!
I'll probably check out the Japanese version because I feel like some things inevitably get lost in translation but I really appreciated the little translation notes at the end. I can't wait to continue reading this!

Thank you Kodansha Comics for the digital ARC via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed the art and concept of this story. It's a little bit of a slow start and we haven't seen too much of the characters' "dark sides" but it's only volume 1 so I have high hopes we'll see more in the coming volumes. This one had enough to hold my interest and make me feel invested in the main characters so that I want to continue reading and see where their story goes which I think is the main objective of the first book in any series. There aren't any secondary characters who really stood out in this volume, so I would love to see more of the main characters interacting with their friends. It's a good choice if you're looking for a quick, cozy read!

I really liked Kaguya-sama: Love is war and Fall In Love, You False Angels just gave a similiar vibe and i loved it. The stroyline, the characters and especially the artstyle is sooo pretty. I talked to one of my colleagues about it as she started reading mangas through me and she also liked it. Definitely one of the prettiest rom-com mangas i've read so far!

I gave this manga 4 stars mainly because I really loved the art style—it’s gorgeous and definitely the highlight for me. The characters come across as sweet and kind on the surface, but there’s this subtle hint that they’re more complicated underneath. I wish we got to see a bit more depth or contrast in their personalities because some moments felt a little too ordinary instead of really showing their “hidden sides.” Still, I found their dynamic interesting and I’m curious to see where their relationship goes in the next volumes. Overall, it was a nice, enjoyable read for me

I lean more towards liking this manha, just because the characters are not really portrayed that well. I would expect the FL kindness to be exaggerated, yk, OTT. But it's not. She is so kind, she gets tired of it, I should really be able to see that. Being called and angel (The title) is lowbar, if their characters are classed as that in their world.

And for the ML it's the exact same. That aspect of the story really pushed me away. If they are two faced, then the "two faces" should really oppose each other. Neither characters had a dark side it was just normal emotions most people have. Why were they trying to hide it?

I want to know what drew them towards eachother in the first place. Maybe we will be shown in other volumes.

Thanks Netgalley for the ARC💃🏽🙈📖

A gorgeous and cliché shoujo romance! I adore gap moe characters and an androgynous male love interest 😋 I likely won’t continue with the series, but I throughly enjoyed the volume.

This manga is highly entertaining. Otogi Katsura is the Class President and Toki Ninomae is the class Vice President and they both present a facade to the general public. Everyone believes that they are beauty, elegance and kind. Underneath this facade, they are rough around the edges, and have a take no prisoner attitudes. They are still protective over people but they approach things with a little more violence than what you would expect.

An encounter changes their relationship when they both get to see the "real" person under the angelic persona. The graphic is pretty and I can't wait to see how their relationship changes in future encounters.

Thank you NetGalley for the e-Arc and this is my honest opinion.

✨️ Fall in Love, You False Angels ✨️

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

I enjoyed this first volume quite a bit. I like the concept of manga when the main characters aren't always as they seem on the surface. The only critique I would give on that front is that it didnt seem enough of a character change than it could have been. I thought it would have maybe been a bit darker of a personality when in the manga they just aren't nice and smiley as what they actually are in school. But overall I liked that Katsura and Ninomae could be more themselves with each other and I can't wait to see how their relationship goes in the later volumes and what kind of things they will get up to.

This is a cute story about a bubble gum princess and her connection forming with the broody guy. I didn't totally understand why what he did was anomalistic to his personality and "another side", but I still really enjoyed the story.

It had promise, but i dont know whether it was the art style or the flow, something was a bit disjointed in this story for me. I also didnt feel any depth. 2.5 stars.

It's a story with good art, but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of narrative. Not very interesting and coherent. I am concerned about the continuity of the story.
Still, the art alone is worth reading at least once.
