Thank you to NetGalley for this chance to read.. I enjoyed the book was not a favorite but it still was a very good book i might have to start with the first one then read this again just to get them in order but i did enjoy the characters.

Ok after devouring Rhythm of Love by Adina D. Grey I now need to get my hands on book one!
I loved everything about this story.
I was so well written and the characters are just amazing.
Grey has created a world that is both tantalizing and relatable, and her characters are complex and deeply human.

REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS:
“Rhythm of Love” is the second book in the series, focusing on Dex and Samantha’s emotionally charged reunion. As teenagers, they fell in love after their parents got married, but Dex was forced to leave due to his father’s interference, ending their relationship. Years later, Dex is a drummer for a famous band, and Samantha is a lawyer engaged to an abusive boyfriend, Brian. Their paths cross again when Dex unexpectedly receives the bouquet at a friend’s wedding, followed shortly by an invitation to Samantha’s wedding.
This sparks a rekindling of their connection, with the two facing not only their past but the complications of Samantha’s current relationship. As Dex steps in to help Samantha when things get heated with Brian, they uncover that Dex’s father had been sabotaging their separation by routing calls to another phone. Tensions within the family rise and Dex continues to save the day for Samantha. Predictably, Dex and Samantha get back together, Brian goes after Samantha, and Dex swoops in with the support of his team and rescues his true love.
While the reunion between Dex and Samantha is compelling, the book’s pacing feels rushed. Their emotional journey seems to move too quickly, especially as Dex rapidly pursues reconnecting with Samantha, and the revelation of his father’s role in their separation is resolved almost immediately. The plot also includes some far-fetched elements, like Dex’s plan to make Samantha jealous by pretending to be serious with a one-night stand—an attempt that somehow works and feels unrealistic.
While “Rhythm of Love” offers an emotionally charged romance and fast-paced drama, the rushed nature of the story detracts from the authenticity of the characters’ emotional growth. For fans of lighthearted, dramatic romances, it’s an enjoyable read, but those seeking a more realistic and thoughtful exploration of love and relationships may find the quick resolutions a bit too contrived.

At first, Rhythm of Love didn’t immediately capture my attention, and I even found myself starting over to truly engage with the story. However, I’m so glad I gave it another chance, as it turned out to be a deeply rewarding read.
Adina D. Grey weaves a heartfelt narrative centered around a beautiful family that defies expectations and stereotypes, creating a cast of characters that feel authentic and relatable. What truly stands out is the profound connection between the two central characters, which serves as the emotional core of the book. Their bond is written with such intensity and sincerity that it resonates deeply and drives the story forward.
Grey’s storytelling shines in her ability to balance the larger themes of family and individuality with the intimate exploration of love and relationships. Rhythm of Love is a testament to how the simplest connections can hold the greatest power.
For readers who appreciate character-driven romance with depth and nuance, this book is well worth the read.

I have not read book 1 but each book tells the story of a member in a rock band. I thought this book which is number two was a fast-paced story with great details about music. So, if you love rock and roll, try this romance out. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
