(this review mostly on the audiobook and not the book itself although the rating for both is the same)

First off I already absolutely love this series, the characters and their story and ‘So Rare’, the book itself, was sooo good. The audiobook made the experience even better. Each of the main character have their own narrators. The narrators did an amazing job and it was fun to hear the characters different accents. I would definitely recommend listening to the audiobook, it made the book even more enjoyable than it already was.

Thank you so much for the alc!!

I think this is not for me... I enjoyed the first two in the book but how this one ended I just don't think is for me anymore. I enjoyed our FMC in the first two books but she is starting to get on my nerves. The boys are also getting to be too much. The audiobook was good and I really enjoyed the narrators and they truly brought the story to life but I just can't do it anymore...

So Rare (Boys of South Chapel #3) is a why choose romance. I’m finding it a bit harder to like this series. I love Greedy and Levi, along with their building relationship with Hunter. I feel that the other characters have been unnecessary, and I don’t feel the same connection with them and Hunter. While the drama and intense chemistry has been enjoyable, I think this series is continuing longer than what is necessary. I’m really hoping things turn around for Hunter and that she receives the ever after she deserves.

June DeBorahae, J. River Pierce, Liam Dicosimo, Keval Shah and Julio Maxwell really did a great job portraying these characters. Their narration was fun and entertaining.

So Rare is the third book in the Boys of South Chapel Series. It is a why choose, second chance romance. I enjoyed the ever evolving dynamic between these characters and how loyal they are to Hunter. It was a quick, angsty, steamy read, however I am finding that this series is being drug out to long. I hoe we finally get an HEA in book #4.

June DeBorahae, J. River Pierce, Liam Dicosimo, Keval Shah, and Julio Maxwell did a good job portraying these characters.

RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥💥

The audio of this is absolutely fantastic.

This series is shaping up to actually wreck my life and I love it. This book is flawless, and if you have not read the first two yet, go do that now because this fantastic series needs to be read in order.

💜 Why Choose with multiple dynamics
💜 Friends to Lovers
💜 Dominant English Billionaire
💜 A Rescue Mission
💜 Then and Now Timeline
💜 Golden Boy MMC
💜 He Falls First

Because of that fact I don’t want to give much away so what I will say is this: Abby brought joy, emotion, spice and the whole damn rollercoaster out to play with this book.

The first two books brought us through the hard part of the journey and while this book had its hard moments and themes, what you get is a sense of hope and belonging.

As a Spence girlie from page 1, my boy shows some absolute growth and I DARE you to dislike him after that. I love him the most.

Greedy gets his moment. You will know it the second you read it and you will melt into a puddle of goo and heart eyes. I promise.

Levi activated brat mode and the results of that are 😮‍💨 The Moon Mist hotel can tell some stories after our boys visit.

Sione fits in beautifully and if you doubt his inclusion before you read this, you won’t after. I promise. He is a soul child and they need him.

Hunter deserves every hug we can give her. Her growth comes full circle and this woman is fierce and I love her.

The last line of this book will make you scream. That’s it, if you’ve read Abby you expect it, and it’s a banger.

I sat down to read this and didn’t move until I had devoured it! It’s fantastic and I am rabid for more.

Book: So Rare
Author: Abby Millsaps
Rating: 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This series is one of those series, where each book is so wild and unexpected! I always go in thinking it's going to be this feel good, why choose, good time .. and it always has so much amazing drama.

We meet another one of the FMC's boys in this one .. supposedly the last, but we will see! 😅

I love the diversity in this series/book. I enjoy that every character is so different and special in their own way, but they all love and respect each other. It's beautiful to read about!

You get:
• Contemporary Romance
• Spicy
• Why Choose
• PMD Representation
• Suspense
• Toxic Family/Drama
• Past Trauma

I'm really excited for the next one! Available on KU, ebook, paperback, and audiobook.

Thank you for this audiobook! I really enjoyed it. Abby has a way to make a series feel so fun and so emotional. The narrators did a fabulous job making this book come to life. Can't wait for the next one!

This is book 3 of 4 of this amazing series, these need to be read in order. The story continues fore Greedy, Levi, Spencer and Hunter. This book picks right up from Hunter going missing and what the boys have to go through to get her back. Spence really steps up in this book and takes over (and for the first times I like him as a character). And then new boy Sione, another boy from Hunters past from the time she was in Europe, is brought in to the story. I cant wait for the final book in the series to come to audio to finish the series out.

Once again all the narrators do an amazing job bringing this book to life and keeping it interesting all thought out the story..

unfortunately this audiobook/narrators was not my cup of tea!! I loved the first 2 books in this series so once I stopped listening to the audiobook and decided to eyeball read I really enjoyed it!! I love the dynamic between all the characters and can wait to see how this series ends!!

This book was already perfect, and the audiobook elevated it that much further! The narrators were incredible and pulled me into the book with such ease. I'm an audiobook snob, so if the voices aren't just right, it pulls me from the story, but with this audiobook? No notes. Just perfection.

As for the book itself?...

One thing to never underestimate from Abby? Her ability to slay you with a cliffhanger. And damn, did this one deliver?!?

First things first: I just fall more and more in love with Hunter with each and every book, over the course of Joey’s books, through to her own, she has been such an interesting and relatable character to get inside of the head of, and seeing her attachment issues with the guys and how she has is working through them to actually build something with them is such a well written storyline.

The guys’ dynamics with each other is so fun because they’ve really gone head first into this relationship with both Hunter, as well as themselves but in a way that feels so natural and authentic

Now, Hunter’s mom? Nah that b- is evil and she’s gotta go!

As for that ending… book four can’t get here fast enough!

I loved this next installment in the series, and this was my first in the series listening on audiobook! I thoroughly enjoyed the ride, and thought the narration was fabulous! The MMC's voices were distinct enough where I wasn't super confused, and the voices matched the characters so well. While the storyline is a bit out there and unrealistic, I enjoy it for that very reason! It is a fun experience, and I can't wait to get my hands on the next installment.

I got an audio copy of this book and truly enjoyed it. With having different narrator for each of the men and then Hunter really brought this book to life. Sione’s narrator had me swooning!!!

This was a very spicy why choose book in the Boys of south chapel series.

Just a few notes
✨ - [ ] THAT 🩸 SCENE WITH HUNTER AND SIONE 🥵😍😳
✨Absolutely adore Greedy and SIONE.
✨ Greedy was my favorite, I didn’t think the other guys could top him…. Enter SIONE. He’s definitely a keeper.
✨Magnolia is a freaking psychopath & I hope she gets what’s coming to her.

I absolutely love this series. I have been a die hard Greedy girl since So Wrong. He was willing to do any and everything for Hunter including switching around his entire life for her. I was so happy that he got more love throughout this book.
Levi has grown on me with time, but he’s definitely not my favorite. I was happy that he was able to really figure out himself in this book. He was able to really devote himself to Hunter all while forging out his true feelings to the other men in the group as well. My man was STRESSING in the beginning of the book.
In So Real I loved the European version of Spence, but I felt he had changed when they got to the U.S I am so happy that Spence is back to being that Brit that I know and love. The way he will move mountain for Hunter… ya know like buy an entire health and wellness retreat to save her.
I didn’t think I’d like a fourth guy and Greedy, Levi, and Spence were already a lot but I was pleasantly surprised by Sione. He met Hunter where she was and only is so darn devoted to her and only her. I loved that he took his knowledge to try and help her in any way he would think of with her PMDD. Hunter sure had lucked out with the men in her life. I also loved that even though he wasn’t interested in a relationship with the other guys, he knew they meant everything to Hunter and was willing to have her in any way he could even if that meant sharing her.

Hunter- man our girl has been through it but my goodness is she strong. She is one of my favorites FMC’s. Her character development and how she has learned and matured throughout this series has been amazing.

I’m hoping Greedy’s dad will come to his senses and realize how foul of a human Magnolia is. I’m sure Spence has something up his sleeve to really deal with her once and for all.

And that cliff hanger!?!?

I love everything about this series. So of course I jumped at the chance to listen to this audiobook! I LOVE how these narrators brought the story to life. And can anyone ever have too much Greedy?!

I love how the guys are slowly starting to come together. Working together to help Hunter regardless of their initial feelings toward each other. Sione is like a breath of fresh air to the group, helping to mellow out the alpha-energy.

Love love LOVE seeing Joey and her guys and how involved they are!! Spence and Kylian’s bromance! 😍

Our girl’s a fighter.”

“My first love. My boyfriend. My European lover. Now my other European lover. All here. All under one roof. Flovely.”

“Brat Mode has indeed been activated, and I fully intend to take care of that.”

June DeBorahae continues to be one of my favourite narrators; her performance as Hunter who I struggled a little to connect with in the earlier books has totally won me over! I prefer duet narration but all the narrators made each chapter their own and it was pretty seemless considering the amount of POV's and dialogue between multiple characters in some chapters. All the narrators have some pretty heavy themes to explore in their performances but there is still plenty of humour. Levi telling Hunter about him and Greedy in the hotel with Greedy interjecting with corrections was definitely one of my favourite parts. And the Jersey moment? I loved reading it but listening to it was even better!

I am not usually a fan of the lead characters being apart or paired off separately generally but it totally works in this book. After the twist at the end of book two, the guys have to work together to solve the mystery of where Hunter has gone. I absolutely loved the dynamic between how the three worked together and how they each tackled their frustrations differently. Kabir from his introduction in book two was not my favourite but seeing him play to his strengths was great development for that character. Greedy is still the absolute one though. His conversation with Sione about his sexuality was another of my highlights as was how his relationship with Levi evolved.

There is a lot going on; a rescue, new love interests, the final pieces of Hunter's summer flashbacks coming together and a lot of drama leading up to an explosive finale. It broke my heart and dropped my jaw all in one fell swoop and I cannot wait for book four!

I’m a little late for this one, but when I was offered the audiobook I was like “heck yes! I need to have Greedy in my ears!” 🤣

This always happens, whenever I read a Why Choose? book, I always end up liking one of the guys more than the others. In Boys of Lake Chapel it was Kylian… here is definitely Greedy! He can do no wrong in my eyes. While every guy has what makes them unique, I just can’t ignore he was Hunter’s first and the father of her angel baby. He never got the chance to mourn the loss of his child, and that makes him have a special place in my heart.

This one had me tearing up a couple of times. It was hard to see how a parent could be so cruel and treat their child the way Magnolia treated Hunter. It’s not that I was surprised, I know there are parents like this one in the world, it was more about seeing how she didn’t care at all about her daughter.

If you’re going to read this one (and that goes for the 4 books in this series) please check the trigger warnings. This isn’t an easy topic to process and it is very important to take care of yourself if you’ve gone through situations like the ones Hunter has gone through.

This book is an emotional journey. It picks up soon after the last book ended which I appreciated. I hate it when a book has a 😲 ending and then the next book has a big time jump and takes you out of the intensity of what was happening. So thank you to the author for that. This book was about the characters figuring out their relationships and how they all fit together and jive together. I enjoyed how this poly relationships found their way. It was a bit immature at times but most of the characters are young so it’s understandable.

And the FMCs mother!!! She is a nutcase. The ending was … interesting … can’t wait to see what happens in book four!

I read the first two books on kindle and listen to this on audio, and I can say with my full heart and flat chest that this is one of those books that you need to get in your ear holes. The narration on this that me slippier than a waterslide at Disneyland.
Abby Millsaps, you can do no wrong my lady.

I fell arse over tits for all of these men faster than you can say whoops. And these men have it down bad for our girl Hunter.
This is the 3rd book in a series and the books to have to be read in order. I am so sad that the next book is the last book in the series, I wish this series would never end but I am so glad and jealous for those readers you haven’t meet these characters yet because you get to experience the angsty, the tension, the obsession and the love.

If you want a series that is both plot and spice (but heavy on the spice) then this shit will certainly satisfy because this shit is filthy as fuck.
And to sign this off, I have one thing to say…… Get fucked, Magnolia

So Rare is the 3rd book in the Boys of South Chapel series by Abby Millsaps. It’s told in a dual timeline style, flashing back and forth between Hunter meeting Sione in Italy, and the present, where Sione joins the polycule in progress completing the group. This series does need to be read in order, as each book has ended in a killer cliffhanger to tie into the next. In So Wrong we met Greedy and Levi, In So Real we meet Spence, and now Sione in So Rare. Hunter is collecting these suitors like trading cards in these first three books, and now we’ve reached the point where the “Avengers” have assembled to finally be with, care for, and protect Hunter from her toxic mother. There are some heavy themes in this story, so if you’re sensitive to certain situations, please check the content warnings.
I listened to the audiobook version of the story, and it was good, but some of the voices were very different from what I had imagined in my head. I read the first two books without audio, so it took me a little while to adjust. The cliffhanger Abby leaves us all on at the end of this book, is one I saw coming, and luckily So Right, the conclusion to the series is dropping next week. I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
Thank you to Netgalley, Dreamscape Media, and Abby Millsaps for the ALC opportunity!

The narration was actually good. But the storyline is really not there.
OMG I hated everything about this book.. I don’t know why I continue to read this series when I keep hating the back and forth.
The FMC cannot make up her mind after 3 book of going in circles.. I DNF at 30%z

Its a 2.5 star but....These books are like a reality tv show... messy, dramatic, over the top dialogue, and yet... I can't not read them. I have so many complaints, a lot of the actions of the characters don't even make sense. The ending is absolutely ridiculous for what everyone has gone through and the KNOWN trauma history, I mean, truly ridiculous... and I am sure I will read book 4 to see how it concludes. So I dunno what to tell you, if you're looking for messy entertainment, you will find it here, it may also make you love to hate it. I dunno lol

Thank you of the ALC of this, I really do appreciate the opportunity.
