this was a strong start to the Race is On series, it had that element that I was looking for. It worked well overall and was invested in the world and characters. The plot has a great overall concept and left me wanting to read more in this world. OC Heaton has a strong writing style and was able to create characters that I was hoping for.

Well this was a first for me in this type of book. A very well written story of family, love and friendship between a complex storyline. Uma’s character was one which I loved, hated and questioned throughout. Many twists and turns not expected as well as dramatic fight scenes that pulled you in holding your breath for the outcome. I found it hard to stop reading at times.
