The first in a Christian cozy mystery series, I really enjoyed this book. Can't wait to read more.

This is the first book in the Hope Street Church series...

...and I really just didn't get into it.

The mystery was a little bit muddled and I found it hard to try and pick up the threads and clues along the way.

Also, the characters - Cooper in particular - just failed to connect with me, or inspire me to want to get to know them in any real way.

I hope the series gets better.
